Fantastic wooden puzzle for older toddlers

My 2.5yr old LOVES these puzzles. They are the perfect thickness for her and make her feel like she is doing a “real” puzzle.I love that they come with a removable picture guide, however it would be better if it was printed on card stock paper.Only downside for us is that the pictures could be a bit more vibrant.

Great puzzle for little hands
Good quality. Built to last and enjoy. Puzzle is very clear and colorful and the edges are smooth, there are no splinters. They promote visual development, creative thinking, fine matching skills, and fine motor skills. Puzzles are easy enough for my 3 year old to put together without help. I liked that the pictures are in the bottom of each one making it easier for the child to put the pieces together.

Pretty OK wooden puzzles
We did not like these wooden puzzles as well as certain other brands. They weren’t *bad* or *defective*, but they weren’t “wow!” either.Compared to similar brands, the colors appeared muted, amd it feels like the paint was applied to a laminate, which could easily separate (it’s fair to note that it didn’t actually happen to me, but it feels like it could)On the bright side, I do appreciate that there are many puzzles, and the “sample” picture for each puzzle is; this makes it harder to lose that page, as well as making a neat reference as you build. In my opinion, there are better choices out there, but if you need a dozen puzzles (or need more than a dozen…) and these are the quickest or cheapest, it may make sense to get these.

Would make a really nice gift
Very cute, pieces aren’t too small, colorful, and no rough edges. Definitely would make a nice gift for toddlers.

Okay
The quality of the wood is good. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because the puzzle paper is removable and can easily be ripped if left unattended. It would better if the model was either thicker or not removable. I like that’s the colors are bright and and these puzzles are great at keeping toddler engaged.

sturdy well made puzzles

Wood but no splinters. No problems with delamination. Sturdy. Can use the blank wood frame or put the picture inside as an easier gradient.

Great Value!
These are sturdy and the pictures are very clear. We use them at our pediatric clinic for visual motor skills, fine motor skills and executive functioning (i.e.problem solving).

Good quality with bright images
My 3 year old granddaughter enjoys doing these puzzles every time she comes for a visit. The pieces are sturdy and have good fit. The only issue I have with the puzzles is the paper image that is under the pieces. It think gluing the paper to the wood or including the image on plastic instead of paper. I am sure the paper will probably rip/tear at some point.

Great cartoon images
Tray puzzles are thin and lightweight but well made. Tray edges are rounded and smooth. There is enough gap between puzzle and frame to grab a corner or edge to remove pieces easily.Underneath each puzzle is a full sized full color image for reference. This is on a loose piece of paper. I suppose it could be glued into the tray, laminated and kept separately, or discarded. Left loose and unprotected, I feel certain it won’t be long before it is lost or damaged.Breaking apart puzzle pieces for the first time made some wood dust and splinters, so be careful of that. With more use this decreases. Pieces fit together snugly, but are not too hard to assemble.Images are bright, glossy, and clear. Animals and characters have engaging expressions. Scenes are appealing to little imaginations.Overall I’m very happy with these puzzles. I see them providing many hours of entertainment.

Cute pictures
My four-year-old grandson loves puzzles in general. He enjoys these, but I don’t know that he loves them. They are a bit more complicated than he is accustomed to. A teacher friend suggested I place a number on the back of each piece and in the puzzle tray. I think that will keep him from getting frustrated. The pieces fit together nicely and have held up well.

Bold vibrant colors on wonderful puzzles for children!
My kids are very involved with puzzles and other activities that keep their brain engaged. These are a great way to sharpen their skills and make more and other types of learning easy in the future. These are a good size to be able to carry multiple puzzles to and from rooms with large flat pieces so they don’t get lost. I mean, children are going to lose puzzle pieces, it’s in their nature. Lol. But, the colors are vibrant and fit in place very well. These don’t seem like some of the cheaper options I have come across before. These are a huge value and the solid wood construction will mean that they get a lot of use.

Better for toddlers than magnetic puzzles
At first, I tried the magnetic puzzles for my toddler. While they were overall great, I found that the pieces would bend from the force of a toddler trying to click the puzzle pieces together. These puzzles are very similar to those, but the materials are a lot more durable and hold up better through a toddler’s play. The pictures are bold and so sweet. There are removable guide sheets that you can either leave in to help the child along, or remove as the child already has a better idea of how to assemble puzzles. The quality is pretty good. Not as durable as the thick wooden puzzles, but then again, these are for slightly older toddlers /young children, so they don’t have to be as thick. These are also really compact to store.Overall, I find these to be excellent puzzles for my kids, and I would greatly recommend this set.
