Great hands on toy!
The blocks were lighter than I thought, which is good for little ones so they don’t get hurt.A nice assortment of colors and shapes.I’m not a fan of the grass packing type stuff or the storage bag, but that’s personal preference.Over all I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend to a friend.

Good.
My kids enjoy this, and it functions well enough for them. Not too heavy, colorful, and pretty open ended.

A Little Surprising….
The media could not be loaded.
I figured my son (age 2.5) wouldn’t be interested in these, but my wife persisted and we got this set. So far, I’ve been wrong, thankfully. My son likes the different dimensions of the blocks and has even found other ways to use them (see pic #3). Apparently these make great boulders when used with his heavy machinery set. We’re trying to get toys that help our kids use their imagination a bit. So far so good with this toy, pleased with this purchase.

Pieces too small for 1 year old
I bought these for my one year old son. He loved them but the smaller pieces are too small and a choking hazard. He got one of the smallest pieces stuck in his mouth. It was a struggle to get it out without pushing it further down. Be cautious and always supervise!!

Good toy, not for kids who stick things in their mouth!
I wanted to get one of these sets for my toddler for awhile, but I had imagined them to be a little bit bigger. The wooden pieces are just barely too small for kids that are prone to sticking things in their mouth. I would say that would be great for kids that are a little older, awesome for fine motor skills, but if you’re using the set with your toddler, I would be extra cautious.

Stacking
These don’t have any of the interesting stacking moves that it looks like it does in the picture. Quite boring.

Montessori stacking rocks
This item arrived as described. These are cute small wooden “rocks”. There are many ways they can stack on each other. The painted wooden rocks are colorful. They will be a little challenging compared to regular square blocks so child will have to think about solutions more.

Seems to be made well and a good toy
Seems to be made well and a good toy. Can be used in a number of different ways. We use it for stacking and a rock load for toy trunks you can dump and play with. Good for hand dexterity, eye coordination and teaching colors.

Daughter likes them
These are nice little stacking rocks. They are colorful and they balance well. My 3-year-old is enjoying herself playing with them. You get a lot of them in this set in many different sizes. Would make a good gift for any toddler.

Superior to cube blocks
What a lovely idea! They remind me of gems. They’re well made but lightweight so they’re less likely to bonk anyone painfully in the head or foot. The colors are rich yet gentle and pleasant. They’re much more interesting than cube blocks and even older kids found it interesting. If you’re buying a gift and the kid likes building, with magformers or magnatiles or legos, these offer a zen-like play experience. They come with a drawstring bag.

Fun and different!
My kids have enjoyed playing with this set! The pieces are very durable and somewhat lightweight but easy to clean up. The stacking is very amusing and entertaining for my kids. Just have to be careful they do not throw them but other than that they are great and super fun!

Wonderful, first building toy for your little angel
I received this block/rock set specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see the enclosed picture.)The set comes with 42 blocks in four sizes and nine colors. There is not an even distribution of colors. This toy is great for a whole variety of educational fun activities from building structures to counting by colors to creating patterns to free play were the individual blocks become rocks, buildings, plants, animals, and meeples.I was impressed with the quality. The paint is applied in smooth coats, no ripples, or bumps, and even after being gnawed on by our teething grandbaby did not chip or come off. These are not your typical blocks, and that makes it both more fun and more challenging to build things with the blocks. This has gone on the grandpa and grandma play shelf for the grandbabies.I highly recommend this block set.

Unique version of blocks
I love the twist of a new way to play and build. They are unique and engaging! The colors are aesthetically pleasing and the large size makes them easy for younger children to grasp. The uniqueness ensures a great gift! They are sturdy and solid. The paint is perfect. There were no dried drips or runs in the paint. It looked and felt smooth and it had an even layer of paint. Some where left natural and I while playing with them myself, I enjoyed the variety of textures. The storage bag is even durable! And it’s my opinion that kids would really love these. My 3rd graders enjoy them during inside recess and they are a big hit!Highly recommend!

Giftable packaging
These items came in a nice box with the crinkle paper under them. They would make a nice gift for a 1-3 year old, but I got them for my 4 year old boys and they love them. Even my 13 year old has been stacking and playing with them. Great quality and the color does not seem like it will chip or anything. Also, the smaller pieces are not terribly small either. Highly recommend!

Perfect occupational therapy toy!
My 5month old child is in occupational therapy and these “rocks” are perfect for it! Great for working on hand strength and hand eye coordination. The colors are bright and fun and the blocks are extremely well made. We’ll definitely buy more to gift to others!

Nice Fine Motor Building Toy
I can’t wait to use these in my classroom for my preschoolers. This is going to be a fabulous toy to build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This toy is a nice challenge to keep kids building and setting goals for themselves. The colors are nice and the blocks aren’t too light or heavy. Very nice quality!

Fun activity for any age
I may enjoy stacking these wooden “stones” even more than my kids, who are 4 years and 21 months old. They love the part where they get to knock our towers down! The pieces come in three different sizes which adds nice variation, and the color pallette is modern and appealing. They are smooth, nicely finished, and seem like they will last a long time.

Adorable Blocks!
These Stacking Rocks are such a fun and refreshing change from common building blocks. They’re so unique in shape and color. I especially love the natural and pastel stones, but the red is a nice pop of color also. They’re fun to stack up, or just line up on the floor. My Grands think I’m the best for having these, which is always a winner in my book!

So many ways to play
Grands ages 3 & 5 are entertained for a while—and that says a lot. Play stacking games, create things (people, forts, etc) Great tool for teaching math and numbers, colors, sorting, hand coordination too.Pieces are not so small so haven’t worried about choking with the 3 yr old

Wash before use!
I had bought a different set before this one and like it so when I saw a lightening deal on this set that had more pieces I jumped on it. When I opened the box, all the pieces had a very strong odor, especially the painted ones. Washing them helped but there is still a bit of an odor. That’s my only complaint. Also, some of the pieces are small enough to fit in a child’s mouth so I would also recommend 100% supervision.

A mess lol
They aren’t very easy for me, a grown adult, to stack. I can’t really make these stack near as high as it shows in the picture. And my 2 year old just likes to dump them all out and they go everywhere. I find random rocks all over my house lol I regret this purchaseEdit — so the blocks are great quality we just don’t really get much out of them like I said above. After I reviewed this product, the seller reached out to me and apologized and offered me a refund. Wow. This seller is 5 star.. so I changed my rating for that purpose.

Fun take on blocks
My one year of loves these rock blocks! I only didn’t give 5 stars because I did have to take out the smallest pieces. They say they’re sized for safety but she can fit them in her moth completely so it eases my anxieties to have them gone, at least until she gets a bit older. They are super lightweight and sturdy!
