Buy it
I never ever write reviews, but this thing deserves one! My 9mo son is just starting to pull up and stand. I wanted something that would help develop his gross and fine motor skills because we have nothing around our house that feels safe to pull up on. My husband was reserved at first due to the price point because toys have been a gamble for us. Our son usually likes the packaging more than anything we buy him. But this thing arrived Saturday night and he has played with it nonstop! I am so relieved that he has shifted his focus from pulling up on our coffee table to pulling up on this cube. It is very well made and sturdy (not to mention actually cute). He hasn’t been able to tip it over at all! He is fascinated by all of the features and keeps coming back to it! Hape Country Critters FTW!

Not for teething baby
Is it just me or it’s common. The paint of the balls and cubes fall off. My baby is in teething period. He bites all the stuff. I found some paint are missing already 🙁 I purchased this expensive cube is for safety perspective. But turns out it’s not. Overall, the activity cube is appealing to the kiddo. But i am disappointed by the purchase because I expect the paint finish would be more sturdy.

Great for exploring
The media could not be loaded.
We have had this for a couple of weeks now. Baby really loves this activity cube. He is just learning to stand up and He plays with the wheel thingy often and gets up on his little feet to see what is going on on The top part and then sits back down And gets serious while touching and feeling everything. He is not old enough yet to use every part for its intended activity but it definitely gets him excited to stand up and explore. I took away the little hammer though for now just because I thought he might hurt himself with it but otherwise it’s a perfect little activity center.

Good purchase, sturdy and grows with child
Bought this for my 9 month old. It’s well built and sturdy. I’ve had no issues with the beads. He loves the roller ball portion which can be used fine without the hammer. I like that the edges are rounded. He does use it to stand up and it will slide on carpet- he’s 11 months old now. The balls also fit our Montessori object permanence box toy and vice versa.I would def recommend. This was a good purchase that’s growing with him.

My 2 sons love it
We just received this yesterday, so I cannot speak to longevity, but so far, my sons love this. I generally like Hape toys and found that this play cube, which is more expensive than similar play cubes, is made with high quality, bright materials and is much more interactive. My 1-year-old loves the ball roll part and my 5-year-old mildly autistic son loves the maze part. I like that the maze part is not just random things in a maze, but a puzzle as well (the kids are supposed to match the colors together). It felt like the designers really thought about what kids actually like to do, instead of just adding random things on a wall. The only bad thing is that my 1-year-old bonked my 5-year-old on the head with the mallet, but that could happen with any toy in our house. =) We ended up taking away the mallet and my 1-year-old now just pushes the balls through the holes with his hands. I am really glad I chose this play cube over the other ones.

Fave Christmas Gift
We purchased this for our 2 year old and 7 month old for Christmas. It was instantly the favorite thing they received. Yes 7 months is a little young but she is able to play with most parts of it and the 2 year old is playing with it constantly. It is very well made and the activities on it are different/better than what I’ve seen on any other similar toys. One thing to note (only reason for not giving 5 stars) is that I didn’t initially notice until they started playing with it, that there is a pretty sizeable crack along one of the bottom corners. Because they love it so much I am not going to take the time to exchange it but I do wish that wasn’t the case. There was no damage to the packaging so just be sure to inspect the entire thing when you receive it.

The Best!
The best! As soon as I opened it my daughter came and started playing with it. It was kind of a challenge for me to assemble it with her already wondering around )) Colors are great, it seems to hold very well, overall design is really nice and neat. My baby is 16 months old and she adores this cube. This is our 4th purchase of Hape and I have absolutely no regrets in this brand whatsoever. All af the toys that we had before this cube have an amazing quality. First toy was bought 9 months ago and our daughter playes with it quite a lot, but after wiping it looks almost like new. So I have all the reasons to hope and believe that this cube will last for a while. Love it.

Good but ours is defective
Bought this cube for our 10 month old son, he likes it and enjoys kneeling and standing to play with it. Its good quality overall however I’m disappointed that one of the sides isn’t useable and unfortunately this was the main feature we wanted from the cube. That one defective side makes up 20% of the product which represents a significant amount he’s not able to play with. The side which has the 3 wooden balls which run down wire ramps is defective. The wires are spaced too far from the wall so that the balls don’t roll down the wire ramps they instead just get firmly wedged between the wire and the wall of the cube itself – a big anticlimax when your child hits the ball and wants to see it roll down the slope. Aside from that its a fun, sturdy, attractive cube and I’d recommend it.

Beautiful toy and room to grow
Loving this toy for my 6 month old. She is just learning to sit on her own and this seems to be encouraging it as she leans forward to play with it. Obviously she can’t use all the parts yet, but she likes the spinning wheel and the critter maze. And I can help her stand up and she spins or chews the wire maze on top. Kept her more occupied than most toys we have. I don’t think the shapes are too small for little ones as a choking hazard, as some posters have mentioned. I think this toy will grow well with her. And it seems really solid – but we’ll have to see how the paint holds up to her chewing. Surprisingly, my 4 year old spent the whole weekend playing with it. Not sure if it’s because he really likes it or because it was not meant for him. Either way, it’s pretty great.

This is the play cube to get!
I looked at many other ones, and am so glad that I decided on this one! The colors are so nice and vibrant, and I love that all the little blocks and balls have eyes (my son really appreciates this too). We gave it to him when he was around 7 months and he took to it right away. It was the first thing he pulled up on, and now at 9 months he’s happily cruising around the whole thing playing with all the different games. The ball roller coaster has got to be the best thing about this. He’s a bit too young for the mallet, but he pounds the balls through with blocks or another ball, and loves watching the cause and effect. Other play cubes usually have some dumb sides to them, like an abacus, which wouldn’t be too entertaining for long. All these games/activities are just very well thought out. It’s beautifully made and will entertain him for a long long time.

The BEST activity cube out there!
This is one seriously adorable, entertaining activity cube! I am so pleased with the quality of this item.Bright, vibrant colors, quality craftsmanship, easy to put together, and multiple entertaining activities for your toddler! My son is 1 year old, and I purchased this after seeing how much he loved a similar activity cube at our local library- although this one is far superior! I had wanted a few different toys for his first birthday- a wire bead maze, a ball roller coaster, a shape sorter, and some sort of spinning gear-like accessory. The Hape Country Critter activity cube was a perfect all in one option, had an bright, playful design that wasn’t too babyish but would still be attractive to a child and spark the imagination, and was from a reptuable brand of childrens toys I felt I could trust. They have completely went above and beyond my expectations with this toy and my son adores it. At only 1 year old, can see him enjoying this activity cube for many more years and thanks to Hapes quality craftsmanship I trust it will easily last that long.Thank you for creating a wonderful product that children can enjoy, and a toy parents can feel good about letting their child play with!

Best Activity Cube Ever!
I wanted an activity cube that was interactive for my baby. Not just flipping images/letter around. This cube has the best activities on it! My daughter was 9 months old when she first got it and figured out the ball ramps pretty quick! She’s now a little over a year old and loves all sides of the cube! It’s also incredibly adorable and it couldn’t be easier to put together. Money well spent!

Excellent, made in Germany
I brought a number if wooden toys for infants by various German manufacturers back from Germany. Most of them did not meet my expectations: I had to sandpaper some areas so my mouthing baby wouldn’t get injured, and colors would easily come off after I washed them by hand with mild dish soap or if my baby would chewed on it for some time. Not so with the HAPE toys. We first bought the xylophone, and the hammer that comes with it became my son’s favorite chew toy. He played with it the longest on the transatlantic flight, the colors are perfect as they were before. Now to this wooden activity cube: It has the right height and sturdiness for my son to pull himself up. He’s only 9 months old but has learned to pull himself up on it, stand, cruise, all in just three days. We watch in amazement. Make no mistake, you’ve got to supervise, he fell on top of it today and got his first ever bloody chin, also when he stands and lets go, he falls either on his butt or could fall straight back hitting his head, but if you are there to catch your child you’ll love it, this toy is so worth it!

This is a must-have for toddlers!!!
My favorite part of this activity cube is how sturdy it is! It is very solid and sturdy enough for my 21Ib baby to use it to pull up and stand, which is why we bought it. All other activity cubes were too light and tipped over on him when he would try to pull up and stand. It is also extremely interactive and even my 2.5yr old likes to play with it! It’s perfect for my boys and they love it! I recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy toy that will withstand toddler years and actually get used more than a few minutes!

Good concept but bad quality
Hape is fun to play, but I’m so disappointed with it’s quality as a toy, reasons below:1. It has a lot and endless tiny dusts from its paints (in photos) — I wiped it three times right after I opened the box, and there’s more and more! — I think it’s NOT safe and healthy for baby to inhale or lick.2. The hole’s surface is sharp. I had to use blue-tapes to cover all the holes (in photos), because the surface is not smooth. It can totally scratch baby’s skin and perhaps left wood splinter under baby’s skin.3. The toy cracked after a month with light usage. My baby is young and the way she plays the toy is touching and grabbing, however after 2.5-weeks-play I found a crack on it today. Unbelievable.4. It’s smelly. It has been smelly since the box was opened. I wiped it entirely and put the toy next to window for 1.5 weeks after I opened the box, it didn’t work. And the smells stayed even after a month.I rarely write review, but I’m so surprised (disappointed) by the experience with this toy that I have to say something.

This is an awesome you!
This is an awesome you!! It’s excellent quality and very study. Best of all my one year old loves it and will play on it with help or by herself many times throughout the day. She’s learning as she plays. I love that it has some things that she can already do, and some that will come as she gets older. To give you a reference she was able to figure out the ball maze right away (on her 1st birthday), and move the little pieces around the top, but still needs help with the shape sorting and will be able to move the pieces around the “roller coaster” on the top more effectively as she grows. It entertains her more than any other toy we’ve purchased. Her almost three year old cousin loves it too and we could hardly pry her her away from it, so I think this will be around for a long time. I’m glad it is made so well, most toys just aren’t this kind of quality anymore! (I gain nothing from this review I just really love this toy! I bought it on a lightening deal but after seeing how great it is I would have paid full price.) A worthwhile investment but no need to wait to she 3.

Love it!
This toy has great quality. The kid loves to play with it! One thing I’d like to mention is that Hape’s customer service is very helpful. I accidentally wash the balls and the paint peals off. I contact the Hape hoping that I could purchase the ball separately. The representative sent me three replacement balls at no cost and also share with me some cleaning tips, which are very helpful. I’m very satisfy with this purchase.A side note: it would be better to stay together with the toddler when he/she plays with it. My little one tries to climb on this several times…

Good item, but lots of parts
Overall it’s a good toy. My only complaint is that it comes with lots of pieces to put together, and the unit I was sent was missing some. Took me a while to realize, and I ended up having to return it and buy a new unit somewhere else.

Great toy but beware paint chips off balls easily!
Amazing toy, different sides of the block will be used as he grows up. My baby started playing with this when he was 7 going on 8 months and mainly the side with the spinning wheel or watching balls roll down the tracks. He likes the dogs on tracks but just likes to bring them all down to the bottom and doesn’t particularly understanding getting them to the right color. I think he will like the shape sorter when he’s older. As far as tippability – it has only tipped once when he grabbed the top of the yellow wire. If he grabs the actual cube it is very stable. Even grabbing the blue wire to pull himself up we’ve had no issues. He’s 21.5 lbs now and it’s still stable, but started pulling up when we got this toy and cruising at 8 months. We do watch him because if he falls he does sometimes knock himself on the side which leaves bruises. The main con of this toy are the paint on the balls. He definitely likes to put them in his mouth and they are very chipped after only 2 months of use (see photo). My husband actually threw the balls away while I was at work one day because he thought the baby was getting paint in his mouth. I’ve written the company to ask about replacement balls but haven’t heard back yet.

Excellent quality, fun options for play!
I debated heavily on this toy for our 19 month old daughter for Christmas, but am very pleased we got her this. My only regret is that we did not have this when our oldest child was younger as it is such high quality it is made to go through multiple kiddos!Cons and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, which may be super picky, is that the one side where shapes go in has a knob you pull on to release the shapes down. This knob & release mechanism is really kind of hard. My daughter loves to put the shapes in their matching holes but she cannot release the shapes on her own to repeat the process. We have to help her which actually that’s not a problem, having to help her, but to get them out we have to stick our hand up and move the parts around. Using the pull knob as it’s meant to be used just doesn’t fully work. Really there is only one con, but since this is a pricey toy it is worth noting.Pros outweigh my one con however. The quality is top notch! This is a toy that will last & last. My 5 yr old even enjoys taking his turn on the various activities. My now 20 month old loves hammering the balls and really enjoys the shape side other than not being able to get them out. My inner child personally loves the bead tracks on top. The side where you move animals through a sort of maze type thing to matching colors is cool too. I think my daughter is starting to be more interested in this as she’s starting to understand color sorting more.Overall I really like this. It’s the kind of toy I imagine once my kids outgrow I will box up & keep for grandkids one day as it is really that well made, which you can’t say about many toys these days.

Missing parts and paint chipped off
Purchased this for nephew for Christmas. Upon opening the box we discovered that the wooden shape toys were missing. Double checked all the packaging and def. not there. Decide will contact company on Monday since this is the weeekend and hopefully they will fix the issue. He starts to play with the cube and is enjoying the rest of the toy but when he puts the orange ball into the hole and hits it to go down and grabs it to do it again, the paint is coming off the ball. Only hit it once. Will address that issue too. I call company on Monday, woman in customer service acted like I was lying to her. Asked if I looked inside the cube for the wooden shapes, and insisted they should be there. Also said the paint on the balls is a water based paint and if the child is excessively drooilng and putting the toy in his/her mouth the paint will wear off. I told that was not what happened and explained the situation to her. She told me to take the cube apart, Pain the the butt to do, take picture of product number email it to customer service and when there warehouse reopens in mid January they will ship me out the missing parts and a new replacement ball. Would NOT recommend thhis company. Waiting weeks for parts that should have been there to begin with

Well made and very stimulating!
I’ve been searching for months for the perfect activity cube/bead maze for my 12 month old daughter. And I’ve finally found it! This cube has five different activities. The top is made up of three bead mazes – bees, fish, and one that makes up a caterpillar. The first side is a beehive wheel where the child has to catch the bees in the cups. The second side is a maze where the child has to place six differently colored dogs in their color coordinated homes. The third side is a slide for three large wooden balls. The child hits each ball with the mallet and the ball rolls down one slide to the next slide and on to the final slide. The fourth side is a shape/color sorter. Once the child places the shapes in the correct hole he pulls on a handle and the shape blocks fall to the bottom of the cube where the child can grab them. It’s really a very clever toy! The colors are very appealing and there aren’t any sharp or rough edges. It’s on the heavier side compared to other activity cubes so I’m not worried about my daughter tipping it over on herself. It does require a little bit of assembly, but only because the top of the cube is turned upside down so that the bead maze is inside the cube – I’m sure for shipping purposes. But it’s nothing that a regular old screwdriver can’t handle. The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five is because the blue square for the shape sorter does not actually fit into the square hole. It’s just a tiny bit too big. My husband is going to sand down the hole just a bit to make it a little larger for the square to fit through. It’s definitely not a reason to return it. Well done Hape! I’ll be back for more of your products!

Paint came off !!!!!! parent be aware of it !
Got to make up for my little one for the endlessly quarantine situation for the past year . And decide to buy him a decent toy set put in the playpen. Find something Keep him busy as longer as it can . And find this . Looks as good as one in his pediatrician office . Have to say it is a little bit expensive than I thought . But I never be cheap on my boy’s toy . I am totally a YOU GET WHAT YOU PAIED FOR believer. And I am wrong this time . The first order got in. The sooner I opened the box I found out the edge are not even straight cut . It has wood pricks on one side . I contacted Sah Creatives send a replacement .. and it doesn’t improve much . And the worse thing is the paint peel off on the fourth day . And I found the paint on my baby’s lips. It is kinda scared me . . I have no ideas what type of paint they are using . Does it have lead in there . A lot of questions popped up my mind . I was freak out almost . Called nurse hot line right after that . I mean that is absurd. There are a lot of good aspect on this toy . Like the colorful design. Sturdy and very easy to install . But talking about safty issue . I thing I can’t give more stars . .

Fun but Quality Issues
Great activity play cube (five stars of fun), but we encountered three quality issues with ours. Two minor issues and one major issue.Minor issue #1 – The wooden beads on the red wire would come in contact with the green top of the cube when going into the hole at the red wire’s lowest point. I was able to carefully but forcibly bend it back to the center of the hole. Problem solved.Minor issue #2 – From day 1, the three balls that get hammered down have had issues. They don’t always make it down the track on their own. Two of the balls have gotten stuck. The yellow ball gets stuck most frequently. Problem is either (a) the balls aren’t uniform in diameter, and sometimes the diameter of the ball isn’t wide enough to make it to the dropping point. Or (b) the tracks come out a bit too far for the balls. We can live with this one. If anything we’ll just say there’s one more way to interact with this feature.Major issue – When putting the shapes (square, triangle, heart…) into the holes, they fall straight to the bottom. The mechanism with the red knob does not work. On inspection, it appears the length of the rope connecting the red knob to the dowel on the inside the cube is too short. The dowel is supposed to hold the shapes from falling when in its rest position. But this arrangement (on ours) is the equivalent of always having the knob in the release position no matter what you do… By the way, I did install the thin wooden backing board correctly – feeding it through the slots before attaching the top of the cube. This one is frustrating because it will require more effort than a quick fix to get it to be functional. For the amount of money this activity cube costs, I would expect a bit better quality control. At least test each feature once to make sure that the product is fully functional! That would have eliminated my Minor issue #1 and my Major issue.

Worth every penny
I’ve been on the hunt for an activity cube for my 12 month old son for a long time. We already have an older anatex cube that is too difficult for him to play with at this age (aside from 1 side) and we inherited that obnoxious vtech electronic alphabet cube. I’m going to get rid of those other two, because this is the cube to own.You can tell that a lot of thought went into designing this toy. Rather than throwing beads and magnets on a cube and calling it a day, each side tells a little story and is genuinely fun.The bead maze on top features a row of bumblebees flying into and out of a frog’s mouth, fish jumping around in the water, and a caterpillar (in parts) jumping through a tree. The other four sides include: a revolving honeycomb filled with bees that you can turn slowly or send them flying with a strong spin and watch the bees tumble around inside, a built in pounding bench with roller derby underneath (our favourite), a matching game with different animal pegs that are easy for little fingers to grab, and a sorting game that allows you to make all the pieces tumble down at once when you pull a red lever.Aesthetically, it’s the most beautiful toy we own. My parents kept a few of my old toys and I can tell this will be a toy to save for the grandkids. If you found this review helpful or have any questions, please let me know!

Well worth the price tag. Best cube on the Market
I am cheap so when I saw the price tag I thought nope, that’s wayy too much for a baby’s toy. I went ahead and got it anyway though lol.And I’m glad I did. This thing is beautiful in person! Once unboxed it has such a wow factor!! Each side has activities. And the side that made me buy, was the side with the spinner. I knew my picky kid would love that. And I saw no other cubes with that feature. It also has a side where the child can take this hammer like tool and wack balls down!Perfect for my kid that loves to wack things, drop things and see things roll!I love, love love this cube! The quality is undeniable. My child is so picky with his toys, with such a short attention span, most of the other toys I bought either never got played with by him or he played once and never had interest again. It has been a while now and every day he is still coming out to play with yhis thing. We worth the money!!!It even has a shape sorter in it. Very pleased mama bear.

Daughter’s Favorite Toy!
My 11-month-old LOVES this activity center! We got it when she was about 9 months and starting to pull to stand, and wanted something a little sturdier for her to pull up on. Little did we know, we’d be going into quarantine for many many weeks to come. This has been an absolute life saver during the hours of at-home time. It is extremely well made and high-quality, and I have NO concerns about any parts or pieces coming off. Girlie’s favorite part is the ball run and the bead coasters, and she loves munching on the blocks. Now that she’s more forcefully pulling up, we put some heavy books inside the cube so it wouldn’t push when she leaned on it. I can envision her using the other sides and parts for years to come.

I’m so glad my son got this activity cube had a gift from his grandma! Yes it is pricey and I would never buy it because it’s out of my budget but I absolutely love love love it. Everything came in perfect condition. Easy to instale, my husband didn’t even need to read the instructions. I love the fact that I can hide the shapes, ball and hammer inside the toy since I feel like my son is to young for it yet. Which means he will grow into the toy! It is so durable that I know it will last for baby #3. It is stable that my 8 month of that is 21lb can stand up using the toy and I am NOT worried about it tipping over on him. OVERALL GREAT TOY! I wish Hape made more effortable toys so I can buy some more but I understand that they are expensive because they are designed so safe, fun, educational and creatively beautiful!

Hands down. Best toy ever.
This is the toy that keeps on giving. I purchased it hoping it would live up to the pictures, but it far and away exceeded them. It’s very sturdy. Your tot will be able to use it as a pull-up and standing tool with no problem. And, the scaling difficulty of the different sides ensures it “grows” with your child; it’s not one that he outgrows in a just a few months. If you ever had one of these as a kid in your pediatrician’s office, setting it up will trigger a wave of nostalgia. This is the toy of toys. Order this. Now.

Missing piece
I have been eyeing this cube for my daughter for a few months now. I was so excited when it arrived in the mail today. The cube was easy enough to assemble, but there was a problem with one of the bolts not aligning all the way with its respective hole. After finally jamming the wonky bolt with some pliers and fully assembling it, I grabbed all of the small pieces (balls for the tracks and the shapes for the shape sorter), and realized that the orange ball shown in the pictures and that is meant for the tracks and mallet was NOT included in my shipment. The purple ball and yellow ball were there and work just fine, but the orange was missing. I am disappointed at the quality control like others have noted for this more expensive activity cube option. With that inconvenience and annoyance aside, it does appeal to my daughter and she enjoys it.

Installation confusion
The toy itself is ok. Built with cheap wood (if you’ve bought toys from Lovevery then the cube’s wood is definitely worse than that). Too early for 6m old boy so I don’t know if my friend’s kid loves it or not. However!! To install it, you need to unscrew the top from the base and reverse it. But the provided screwdriver is inside the cube!! So you need to find another screwdriver to unscrew it. Such a funny design :)The cube itself is heavy and sturdy.

Fantastic quality, very engaging!
The box came with a handle built in. This is indication number one to the quality we’re dealing with here. Assembly was a breeze – barely enough to call assembly. Each side of the cube is engaging and smart. There are high and low activities all around – no waste of space with activity legs. I’m super impressed with this and would buy it again in a heartbeat. (We purchased this for our church nursery and it was a hit with the toddlers!)

My son’s favorite play thing!
The toy my son plays with the most. Also a little dangerous if they fall and hit their heads on so watch out.

11 month old loves this
Perfect for my 11 month old who loves to stand. I love that it has the ball drop, the beads on top are fun too. Easy to put together. Very aesthetically pleasing.Dislikes: After a few weeks of use the paint on the paint on the shape blocks is starting to chip. It’s sturdy but does slide around easily if on carpet or hard floor.Overall we really like this toy! Would be a great first birthday gift

bad paint smell
I wanted to love this cube. It feels solid and looks like it would be a lot of fun for baby. However, the paint smell was horrible and gave me a bad headache. Certainly didn’t smell non-toxic. This hasn’t happened to me with Hape toys before. Had to send it back.EDITED: Changed from 2 to 4 stars. I ended up letting this toy sit out for several days and the smell completely dissipated. Must’ve just been recently painted and tightly packaged. My 6 month old loves it! I do keep the small shape-pieces away from him because they are a little small for him / might be a choking hazard. WIll probably do so until he’s much older. I let him play with the balls and hammer supervised and he loves them! The hammer is very solid and very loud when he uses it on the toy. I don’t mind it at all, but some people might.

Our Best Toy Purchase
We bought this for our daughter at about 6 months. It’s her favorite toy and keeps her coming back again and again. At 6 months, she was just sitting up and could spin the hive. At 7-8 months, she loved to pull herself up to look/grab at the bees & fish on the top. At 9 months, she’s obsessed with finding the balls so she can push them through the holes and catch them rolling down the ramp. She has just started showing interest in the sliding animals and has no idea what the shapes are for. I expect her to continue to grow into it.It’s been a great opportunity for her to practice her standing and balance. She’s slim — at 9 months she’s in the 17-18 pound range — and the cube hasn’t shown even an iota of tipping over when she grabs to pull up. If you are considering buying for a young child, I would recommend you go for it!

Best activity toy
I got this when my son was 9 months old and he immediately fell in love with it. He has been playing with it every day for the last 4 months. It is very sturdy and doesnt tip over even when the baby pulls on it to stand. Its so colourful and I am sure it will entertain my son for a long time.

Beautifully built multi use toy, well worth the investment
Such a huge hit. Very sturdy and well made beautiful activity cube. Doesn’t tip when our big 10 month old uses it to stand up. Very easy to put together, the top with the bead maze is assembled upside down to protect the parts. It took two minutes to switch it and secure the top. The bead maze is a great design and interactive with a frog and tree that are easy for baby to hold onto while standing. The four sides are all great and eliminate the need for other toys – the ball pounding side is my little guys favorite. Also includes shape sorter, maze side and a side that spins. It’s easy to see how this incredible toy will grow with baby and still keep him challenged and entertained when he’s older. Also worth noting that it is truly nontoxic. I have chemical sensitivities and did not have any reaction to the product whatsoever.

Good but paint chipped off the second day
The wood balls paints are not good, you can see bubble under the paint. Paint chipped off the second day. Need to pay super close attention when my kid playing the toy, as he puts everything into his mouth right now.

Great activity cube!
Giving this four stars only because they gave us the wrong colored ball that does not match the activity center and it drives me CRAZY!! Other than that, this is an awesome activity center. Purchased it for our 6 month old and it’s a little advanced but she will be able to use it for a long time
