Get the snail!!
This is my daughter’s favorite toy that she takes everywhere. I love that it keeps her busy on our walk so she’s not picking up random objects from the floor. The string is perfect length and the toy is well made which is great because poor snail gets thrown around sometimes. The shape sorter shell doesn’t get as much attention but she will play with it once in awhile. As others have mentioned, the shell comes off too easily. I wish it would be magnetic or some sort of stable attachment.

Great except for one thing
Wonderful little toy. The 1-year-old loves it and will grow into it, specifically learning to put the blocks through the right holes. The only downside is it’s difficult to get the round piece to fit into the snail so that it goes around and around. The track doesn’t hold it well. But the kids love it.

Be warned. It’s a two for one.
So I bought this toy as a gift to my 1 year old daughter thinking she would love this interactive pull toy…Little did I know I was saddly mistaken…I failed to realize how traumatic it would be for my daughter to see her mother rip a shell off a happy little snail with excitement while rattling its shell to get the blocks out then shoving my hand inside to grab the blocks only to look up and see my daughter is completely traumatized with wide eyes and a dropped jaw to what I just did to this poor little snail. Now she just holds the base part of the snail and tries to comfort it as long as she can before its last breath… Or until mommy can velcro the shell onto the base while she’s asleep…Needless to say, the toy is sturdy. It’s perfect. Nothing’s wrong with it, but now my daughter is learning to be a veterinarian to save this shell-less snail’s life from her mother.

Great toy
We love this toy. It is very well made, beautiful to look at and perfect for your baby to start trying out shape sorting. Other similar toys have too many shapes and we find 3 shapes is simply perfect to start with. We bought this when our daughter was about 9months. She is now 14 months and still plays with it almost daily.

The wheel comes of the body too easily. Other than that is is a super darling toy!! Very interactive for a 1or 2 year old. It is a colorful toy on the shelf!

Adorable toy with a couple quirks
Such a cute toy! Bright colors, sturdy design, lots of fun ways to play (put the pieces in and out, pull the toy along)– the tail moves up and down and the circle spins as it moves, which is absolutely adorable. I took off a star for two reasons– 1) the circle that holds the shapes is a little hard to align correctly on the base so that it will spin as you pull it, which has reduced my older child (4 years old) to frustrated tears a couple times) and 2) there are only 3 shapes to put into the shape sorter, which I supposed I should have realized when I bought it, so I guess that is my fault– I wanted a little more variety. The side where you remove the shapes makes it pretty easy to take the shapes in and out instead of putting them through the shaped holes, so parents might want to be aware of that– I don’t mind it because my 12 month old finds that a pretty engaging activity in itself– “the easy side”, my husband calls it. In all, it’s a great toy that I would buy again, and I like it that it appeals to my older infant as well as my 4 year old.

Really cute and well made
Very charming, good size. It’s so cute when baby learns how to pull the toy! My only complaint is that there is no ball on the end of the string which would make it easier for baby to hold onto.

Wonderful, well-made toy that engages kids in different ways as they grow
Bought this for my nephew for Christmas last year. He absolutely adores it and plays with it all the time. When he was younger, he enjoyed pushing the snail around and making the tail wag, and rolling the shell on the floor (with the blocks inside, it makes a very loud, satisfying ‘clack-clack-clack’ as it rolls). Now he is fully engaged in the matching game aspect. I suspect the next stage is using it as a pull toy on his toddler adventures around the house.I was also very impressed with the build quality of this toy. The fit and finish are excellent and the wood is high-quality with no rough edges. The colors are bright and attractive.

Cute Snail
This is a cute pull along snail. It is wooden. The connector for the eyes is like rubber tubes, so the eyes move about. The snail’s shell just sets on top of the wheel base. This makes it really impossible for a baby to use the whole thing. They can use the shell to put the blocks in and out, but they completely lack the motor skills to prop the shell onto the base. I actually found it a little weird to get the shell on. And as soon as you bump the side of the snail, you knock the shell loose. So, this gets pulled around shellless while the shell sits around being used as a shape sorter. I very much wish it hadn’t been multifunctional, so the baby could enjoy it in full. The wood seems to be decent quality. No paint chipping issues yet, despite rabid baby chewing. So, well built, but functionally flawed.

Best wood pull toy! Multipurpose for lots of cute fun!
Definitely makes sense that this is such a highly acclaimed toy. It can be used in multiple ways. They can roll the round part on its own. It’s neat how it turn opposite as its being pulled. They can play with putting the wood shapes in. It’s wood!!! It’s super cute, the eyes are fun and they can pull it around!!! Def best wood pull toy around!

Could Be Better
Bought for my 14 month granddaughter but as smart as she is…It’s difficult for her to replace the balancing wheel. In addition, the pulling string does NOT have anything for her to keep string from slipping (like a wooden ball)

Well made and fun!
This toy is very well made and can be played with in a number of ways. The circular “back” of the snail rotates when the snail is walking causing the shapes inside to tumble and make noise. The back can also come off the snail to use as a sorter. I did tie a small teething clip to the string to make it easier for little hands to hold while walking the snail. Our 15 month old grandson loves to take his snail for a walk!

GREAT, great, GREAT toy for kids 4m-4yrs+
This is an awesome toy for 4m+… Our daughter enjoyed following it as Daddy pulled it in a circle around her. Next, she’ll be able to play with blocks and then put them in the holes. The round top rolls on its own and makes noise when the blocks are inside. The tail goes up and down as the snail rolls, and all is beautifully colored wood except the eyes, the “stems” of which appear to be a latex rubber- which we like because they bob a little.

Great toy, but beware of splitting wood
This is a great toy, but want to give a heads up to keep an eye out for splitting wood. One of the two we’ve purchased splintered and fell apart upon removing from packaging. See photo. We keep a close eye on the one we have now. Still a winner with close supervision.

The two pieces though awesome are rarely played with together
My girls play with the pull snail more without the back and the shape shorter back more without the pull snail. The two pieces though awesome are rarely played with together. It definitely gets played with, but didn’t have the fan fair with my girls that I was hoping for. It is also fairly loud in a kid friendly way but too loud when others are taking naps.

We play catch-up around the house with this toy. It is cool, noisy and has not bothered the child for several months of use. The quality is high!

Great Toy…Bigger than I Expected.
My 12 month old son likes this toy. It is not his favorite but it is a good toy. Very study and hard; well made. I have to watch him with it because if he throws it or drops it on himself he would be hurt.

Adorable product
My nephew loves it. The only issue is that it is difficult for him to place the round part back on the wheels go pull it. There is only a centimeter or so track on each wheel for the big wheel to rest on, he is too young to get it on just right for it to work.

Cute toy, quality made. The toy has two major pieces- the snail “shell” is not attached to the rest. Hard to keep it in place for my daughter (who is only 15 months) because if the toy tips or gets bumped, it falls off. My daughter plays with both pieces separately and seems to enjoy it, especially putting the different shapes in and out.

First Pull Toy
Solid, well made. Grandson is 1 1/2 and he immediately took the string and took off. He loves putting shapes in big hole–guess he will learn to sort as he grows. This is well made and probably will be a toy he will have for his children. not plastic junk.

I anticipate many months of enjoyment out of this
I bought this for my 6 month old, even though she’s too young to match the shapes or pull the toy. Right away she started playing with the bouncy eyes and hitting the blocks against the snail’s back. It’s been two months and so far she hasn’t tired of it. Now she likes to put the blocks in the back side (not the side with the cut outs). I anticipate my baby getting many more months (and maybe years) of enjoyment out of this toy.

great product
Got this for my son on his first birthday. He hadn’t been walking for long, but loved trying to pull the snail. It is really well made, aesthetically pleasing, and fun. It is easy to pull, and the rope has good length. It doesn’t tip over either. He loves the shape sorter (which makes noise when spinning that he likes). The little stretchy band that keeps the sorting shapes in on the one side makes it so little challenging for him to get the shapes back out, but it’s just another challenge for him to tackle. I plan on buying more toys from this company.

Perfect for 1 Year Old
I gave this to my son for his first birthday. It is everything I could want from a toy. He doesn’t walk yet, but when he does, he will love to pull this around. For now, my 3 and 5 year old love to pull it around the house which delights my youngest. The shape sorter is a great addition, too. This toy would make a great gift.

Walking baby would prefer stick leash to push, cuz baby wants to see toy as he walks
Stick leash to push instead of pull would be better since walking baby wants to see toy action as he walks

Enjoyable 2-in-1toy
My baby has just started walking and he enjoys pulling this toy along with him. The shape sorter is a bonus. It creates the shell of the snail and rotates when the toy is pulled. If the shapes are within the shape sorter when pulled, they create a clattering sound as the shapes tumble within the toy. The shape sorter often falls out of the toy when it’s being pulled by my one year old. While playing with the toy my baby puts the eyes of the toy inside his mouth, and the entire eye fits inside his mouth. When I see him do that I stop him and remove it. I feel concerned that he might be able to chew it off or that the eyes might slide off the toy and pose a choking hazard. So far the eyes are intact and seem sturdy enough to not pop out. It’s not a deal breaker and I’m happy with my purchase.

My 15 month old loves it,
My 15 month old LOVES this toy. He scoots around with it everywhere lol. Even at the grocery store he wouldn’t let go of it. Everyone thought it was so adorable lol. He doesn’t quite understand how to pull the string yet but I’m sure he’ll pick that up soon. He takes the sorter off and just likes to push his snail. I’m so glad I gave it a few days before I returned this thing, it’s such a beautifully crafted toy but the first few days my baby showed no interest and I was going to send it back. Then the next week like magic it’s his favorite toy. I love to watch him scoot around the house with it. Happy with my purchase and the company.

This toy is a winner!
My 1 year old grandson was delighted with this snail gift. He works diligently to get the blocks in the correct holes and loves pulling the snail around to watch the movement. This gift was a winner.

Nice shape sorter, but wheels don’t turn
Both of my children have loved this toy between the ages of 12 months to 18 months, especially the shape sorting. However, it has never worked for pulling along behind them. We mainly use the “slug” section of the snail to hold the shell on the shelf.

I bought this for my nephew and he loves it! He drags the ‘shell’ shape sorter around with him everywhere and loves the sound it makes when he pulls it across the floor. My daughter has the turtle version of this, but I think the snail better because: 1) the shapes (3) are longer so they don’t fall out of it’s ‘shell,’ 2) the tail moves when you pull it across the floor, 3) toddlers are fascinated by the springy eyes. The downfall is that there are only 3 shapes as opposed to 5 with the turtle and the shapes are harder to get out. With both toys, I just wished there was a large bead attached to the end of the string so it’s easier for toddlers to pick up and hold on to. Overall it’s a fantastic toy for a toddler.

Very sturdy and cute
My grandson’s both loved the snail. It’s very nicely made. I was happy with the purchase and my grandson will get to learn his shapes as long as his big brother who’s 3 don’t try and take it away even though he knows his shapes.

Versatile Toy
My grand-daughter loves this toy. It is perfect for a beginner walker to pull around; the colors, noise, and movement are fascinating for little ones. The top pieces are removable and little hands will find many ways to play with and create with them. Pull toys have been around a long time, and there is a reason for that. It is very satisfying for littles to walk with something behind them that they are in charge of!
