Not Strong.
I had high hopes for these shelves, since we have a nice wall space in our living room where they would match our acacia hardwood floors. Alas, it was not to be. The wall anchors were dreadful. They barely held and the shelf ripped out of the wall with about 10 pounds on it. Maybe … just maybe … these would work with some better wall anchors or if you could find a stud. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the benefit of either of those things, so I ended up having to patch and paint a wall. They actually look really good, so the end of this deal was kind of a bummer. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend these. If you do decide to buy them, though, see if you can attach it to a stud and / or get some higher quality anchors.

Great bathroom shelves
These worked great above the toilet. Not the easiest to install since you need to make sure the brackets line up 100% but now they’re on the wall they look great and are very sturdy. The wall anchors they come with are terrible though. Definitely need a least 1 stud for each shelf and I recommend using your own drywall anchors

Horrible mounting hardware
The drywall anchors are pointless, they don’t engage when screwed into so they just freespin in the wall.Also the way you secure the shelf to the bracket is really not great. The little screws don’t actually thread into anything, they just get caught on a little divet in the metal. Not very confidence inspiring.The shelves themselves are a nice quality, but everything else needs a serious improvement. Just provide drywall anchors that actually work ffs.

Wrong thickness
I love the quality of these shelves. Great value for the price. Cannot speak to the installation since I just received.The heading for product needs updating. It states the thickness as 1.6. They actually measure 1.25 which is stated in the description below picture. I bought to use with other Batoda 3pc shelves of longer lengths that are in fact 1.6 thickness.

Good quality and nice looking floating wood shelf
Very happy with the look of these shelves. Warm wood grain just as I wanted. Perfect for lightweight items. In this case the selves will be supporting a 5G modem and wifi router. I would gladly purchase these shelves again.Installation was straightforward. Measure twice, drill once, and use a level. You may want to swap out the screws and wall anchors for something a bit more substantial, but what was provided was good enough for me in this instance.

Heavy shelves
I love these shelves, they are beautiful solid wood and very heavy. The installation was very easy and took less than 10 minutes.However, one came damaged. It doesn’t appear that they were damaged during shipping but maybe at the factory because it looks like the one shelf was dropped. I have not reached out to the company yet to see if they will replace the damaged shelf.

BE CARFUL OF HOW YOU MOUNT THEM. MINE WERE NOT NEW WHEN I RECEIVED THEM.
First the two shelve I received were both used. They had one long bracket with two pins that go into the backside of the shelf. It was obvious that someone else returned these because I could see where someone had pried the bracket out of the shelves. They are really nice shelves if installed correctly and with patience.Let me explain and tell how I was able to install them.1. Examine both sides of the shelf to see which side you want facing up.2. Slide the bracket into the shelf and when it comes into contact with the back of the shelf tap it lightly across the length to see if it will fit. If it does not go in, reverse the bracket and try again.3. If after trying both ways with the bracket and neither way fits, feel along the inside edge of the wood where the bracket goes in. I had to scrape the inside with a razor blade to remove some of the coating. It will not be seen once the shelf is on the wall.4. Try step one again to see which way the bracket fits. Once you know which way the bracket fits mark the bracket with a L and R. I marked mine by scratching a L & R into the left and right side of the bracket. Also remember which side of the shelf was facing up.5. DO NOT USE THE MOUNTING HARDWARE THAT CAME WITH THE SHELF. The screws are cheap and feel like aluminum. Place the bracket into the shelf with an inch sticking out of the back and place the shelf where you want it on the wall. Put a mark at the top and one edge of the bracket.7. Remove the wood shelf from the bracket and set it aside.8. Place the bracket back on the wall and align to the top and side marks. Don’t worry about leveling the bracket yet. With the bracket on the wall where you marked it in step 7 drill a hole in the drywall through the center hole in the bracket.9. Remove the bracket and install an anchor in the drywall. If you use the metal anchors above turn them in so that they go under the edge of the drywall. This will allow the shelf to go all the way to to wall. Mount the bracket in the center anchor snug but not too tight.10. Place a level on the top edge of the bracket an pivot the bracket until it is level. When the bracket is level drill or mark the other holes. Loosen the center screw and tip the bracket out of the way of the other markings. Drill and place anchors for the remaining holes. Tilt the bracket straight so that all holes line up. Put a screw into the remaining anchors. Check for level before tightening all screws completely tight.11. Slide shelf onto the bracket remembering which side is up. You may need to tap with the side of your fist or a rubber mallet to make it go all the way to the wall.Remember the bracket is supposed to be tight in the cutout on the back of the shelf to to keep it from being loose on the wall.

The drywall anchors are terrible
The product looks good but they supply some terrible dry wall anchors. They just don’t go in and stuck in between. Our wall becomes messy because of these cheap anchors. Not sure why they cheap out on a few dollars ! Otherwise this is a great product !

Nice shelves, horrible instructions!
If you’re not handy, you’ll really struggle with the instructions. Horrible, broken-English translation that leaves you scratching your head about what they’re trying to say. And it’s not at all clear which side is up or down for the bracket or the shelf, so pay very close attention (bracket has two small holes in the arms the face DOWN, shelves have two tiny, almost invisible holes that also have to face DOWN). Don’t plan on putting anything heavy on them. But they look nice for small, decorative items like picture frames.

Tips for installation
I just finished installing these floating shelves; beautiful acacia wood and a sturdy mounting system. Very good value for the money but don’t expect perfection at this price. Here’s some installation tips you might find useful. The metal mounting brackets fit in the recess at the back of the shelves perfectly one way but are a bit tight the other so rotate them 180 degrees until they slide easily into the recesses. The shelf may not sit exactly flush against the wall if you’ve got one or both of the brackets oriented the tight way, and by then it’s too late because of how the screw holes are set up. Once the brackets are in the shelves properly, choose which side of the shelf you want to be most visible (one surface will always have a better grain than the other). KEEP THAT ORIENTATION for the brackets and shelves throughout your process for marking the drill holes on the tape and moving the tape to the wall (per the mounting instructions in the product video). While the tape is still on the back of the shelf for marking your drill holes, also mark the tape to indicate the top of the shelf for when you move the tape to the wall. This will ensure the surface of the shelf that you chose to show will be facing where you want. Good luck everyone 😉

Shelves nice, but hardware is terrible
Tried installing with the supplied hardware and it was a literal disaster. Instructions showed drywall and brick wall anchors, but box only came with brick anchors. Naturally, the anchors didn’t work on my drywall.Ended up having to patch and paint the drywall and was ready to return this item. Then decided to go to the blue hardware store and bought some heavy duty drywall anchors with metal backings and they worked much better. Shelves are finally mounted and look good. Bad score because of the terrible hardware that was included that’s led to drywall repair and repainting.

Bracket warped, now stuck
Be careful, the bracket was warped mounted the bracket, then went to put the bracket on but it is now stuck. Tried to pull it off and it’s pull the cheap anchors out of the wall. Others have suggested use different anchors, I would agree. I was mounting wallpapered walls so it’s not an easy patch and try again after ripping it out of plaster walls. Frustrated on many different levels.

Frustrating
The wood shelves themselves are solid wood and finished well for the under $40 for three price.I have installed many floating shelves and fixtures in my time, these however have been the most frustrating floating shelves I have ever encountered to install level or to work at all.The issue I encountered was installing on drywall, the brackets for these are two individual brackets and pins vs one bracket with two to three pins as every other shelf of this style I have ever encountered.To the defense of the manufacture this style of bracket not uncommon from what I see in other searches as many diy bracket kits are of this style, just not what I would ever choose in the future for a drywall application.

verify the depth of the holes in the shelf…
One shelf went up without any issues, the 2nd one…. it wouldn’t go the last 1/2 inch so either there’s something in the hole where the mount goes in OR it wasn’t drilled deep enough. Once you start putting the shelf on the mount there’s no going back. My wall is now jacked with holes that will need to be patched after ripping this shelf off the wall. SAH Creatives’s support was great and are doing a full refund even though I can only send one shelf back without further damaging my wall.The sturdiness of the other shelf is OK, there’s some up/down movement but is fine for my use to stack towels. It won’t come off the wall, that’s one thing for sure…

Damaged on arrival
This was a decent product, good hardware, and functionality, but unfortunately, one of the shelves arrived damaged. I had already hung one of the shelves when I unwrapped the second one to discover the damage, making it impossible for me to return. Frustrating and disappointing. Unwrap both shelves before you start installing to save yourself the frustration.

Installation was terrible, cheap parts and required a lot of work.
Very cheaply made. The end result was OK, after my (very handy) husband spent over an hour drilling holes into the wood (that were missing), and dealing with very cheap drywall inserts. I tried to contact the seller but was unable to do so through SAH Creatives. I would recommend spending more money to order from a different company.

I like it
Put these up behind the toilet in my master bathroom. The woods are kind of heavy but they all have some kind of discoloration to one of them and one has chip in the back. But when I install them they don’t really like go all the way in, it has gap between the wall and the shelves in the back and that kond of bother me cause the shelves are kind of leaning forward. I an planning to buy L brackets for them to secure them. But that defeats the purpose of being “floating shelves”.
