Looks good but…
It looks good, love the design, and the fact the pieces are magnetic helps. The craftsmanship only got 3 stars because after a little while (like a few weeks) the wood started to warp and the drawers were difficult to pull out. It didn’t get wet or anything, it just started to warp. Plus when you try to pull on the handles to open it up, the knobs pop off. I have to lift the thing and pull the draw open from underneath. It’s still pretty to look at though and once the pieces are out, we can enjoy our game of chess without problems.

Made in a rush?
It appears that the drawers are made completely separate from the board. They do not match up to the style, one of the drawers has to be forced back in. Also nothing to stop them from coming completely out. Top of board has some bubbles in the clear coat and board is slightly warped, but acceptable. On the positive side, it appears to be very sturdy, size is nice and the magnetic pieces are nice. If the drawers had some kind of stopper in them I would have this board replaced, but will be returning it.

Good quality board
This is a very nice board with detailed craftsmanship. I purchased this for gift to a cousin and i am confident it would make a perfect gift.
