Durable and made for little hands

Cute, but not as well designed
We love the Hape dollhouse and I have bought many sets of extra furniture. This set is cute but isn’t quite as good as some of their other ones, the blanket for the crib and the pad for the changing table are too long for the actual furniture, and the baby doesn’t really fit in the stroller

There’s better out there?
The doll (arms out straight) doesn’t fit in the stroller or crib. No doll that we own can actually work in the stroller without falling out – what a waste! The whole thing should be redesigned.

I liked this set much better
I bought this and the Plan Toys Classic nursery to compare. I liked this set much better. The scale is perfect. The Plan Toys crib and changing table were HUGE. I did like the Plan Toys stroller, and baby much better, and the fact that it came with a high chair….soooo, I decided I had to keep both. 🙂

The idea is darling…the baby is cute BUT……
I have bought other products from this company. Their workmanship and materials are stellar. But I can’t get past this baby they included. I was very happy to see my box with the items came with the baby others have said was missing from theirs. I was delighted. BUT, the baby does not fit in the stroller. The baby cannot lay down in the crib. It is a basic baby, and it adds a ton to this set. But if it doesn’t fit in the prescribed items provided for it, what is the point? It’s really a shame, too, because it’s a darling set. MUCH better than Barbie-type sets. The crib is very narrow as well. It’s taller, but narrow so I don’t think a Barbie doll “baby” will fit in it. I am going to make a very basic peg baby and hope it’ll fit. Otherwise, it’s going back.

I love this Hape doll house baby furniture. It even comes with a baby doll for the Hape doll house that goes with the set of the other dolls! This furniture is study, nicely painted and clearly high quality. I’ll be back for more furniture pieces down the road. Such a great find! My daughter loves it too!

Our set came with a baby!
This is my daughter’s favorite room in the doll house. What a pleasant surprise that our set came with a baby (dressed in blue) as the Hape family with a baby is almost impossible to find. Nice sturdy pieces and are large enough that I am not concerned about them being a choking hazard for my baby who will undoubtedly be reaching for her big sister’s doll house soon.

Great item
My daughter loves this set for her dollhouse, and these are always the first things she plays with when playing dollhouse. My only complaint is that the baby doesn’t bend at the waist, which frustrates my daughter because it can’t sit in the stroller, you have to kind of push it in there into a standing position and hope it stays in. Otherwise it is great.

Awesome addition to dollhouse!
I got this set to supplement the Melissa & Doug dollhouse I bought for my two boys (1 & 4). It’s perfect. No pieces are too small, and they are tough enough to actually handle play. Love that this is a relatively gender neutral set as well although the baby is dressed all in blue!

Hape’s dollhouse furniture is a good ratio/for Melissa & Doug’s Dollhouse
I can’t say enough about this choice for our granddaughter!Each Hape addition is perfect for the Melissa & Doug Wooden Dollhouse. Hape’s size ratio works well for the rooms. I keep adding to my her collection and she has really enjoyed hours of time playing, pretending; talking for the characters, arranging / re-arranging. She even set up the family, sitting in the back yard of the dollhouse; and watching the children perform on a makeshift stage, on the top floor of the house. Great way to expand the imagination of a child instead of sitting them in front of the TV!! She has fascinated me with her story telling. I ordered the wooden car with additional family members…Pop-Pops; grandmoms; her Mom & Dad… It has been a great way to spend quality time with our granddaughter!

When I researched I could only find the Hape Happy Babies in a set of 12
My little boy asked where the baby was when we got the family for the Hape dollhouse. I told him we would have to buy a baby. When I researched I could only find the Hape Happy Babies in a set of 12. We didn’t need 12 babies. I figured since the babies come in separate cute boxes we could use them as gifts. When I ordered the Hape Baby’s Room, I had no idea it would come with a baby. If I had known I wouldn’t have ordered the 12 babies for $36 dollars. I must admit the Hape Happy babies are slightly cuter than the one that comes with this set. This set is super cute. The stroller is my favorite part. Hape toys are quality. I have liked all my Hape Toys.

Really simple well thought out set with attractive color scheme
We really like this particular Baby Room set by Hape. It is simple but very attractive. I nice touch (which other brands don’t do) is aar double layered cover that you can slip the baby inside! I’m happy with the quality. One of the doors on the change table isn’t perfect but it works as it should. I have purchased most of their sets to furnish a Ryans Room Wooden Doll House. This and the other available room sets are well thought out in terms of what they include. The color palet is alos attractive. It is neither garish nor pale neutrals. The colors chosen appeal to both boys and girls alike. I painted panels of the Ryans Room “Home is Where the Heart” is House (taking inspiration from the Hape All Seasons Doll House) as i think it better sets off the furniture sets.
