Keeps Perfect Time
This a sweet little retro alarm clock. I’ve been using it for a week now and it is keeping perfect time. The alarm is easily set on the back, but it does not offer a snooze button. You have to flip the switch off on the back and reset it at bedtime. No big deal. The alarm sound is a series of digital beeps that are not shocking when it goes off. It is a much nicer sound to be awakened by. It also looks nice on my end table. The casing is plastic, but it doesn’t look it and the glass face is slightly domed for the finish effect.I took off a star because the face is a bit hard to read due to the light color of the face numbers. The light that casts across the face when needing to see what time it is in the middle of the night is easily turned on by a large button on the back. It lights up the entire face of the clock until you release the button.It runs on AA battery, and they recommend the carbon battery. I did research on this and though carbon batteries are typically used for low voltage items such as clocks, they also have the most problems with leakage, causing damage to the item. Upon further research it shows that using the standard Alkaline battery is fine since they both provide 1.5 v. Voltage is the same so shouldn’t be an issue. I’ll update my review if using my Duracell battery creates any problems with this clock. So far so good!

Pretty vintage-look clock
This is a really pretty small clock. I love its vintage looks, although I wish the numbers were a darker color so they were easier to read, especially from a distance. It is easy to set the time and the alarms; this is partly because it is a no-frills alarm clock, in fitting with its retro design. There is no snooze function, and although you can press a button to light the face of the clock, the light is not a back-lit bright light, but instead a beam of light that produces a much softer glow. One more modern feature is that it does not tick. The sound of ticking doesn’t bother me, but the noise keeps my daughter awake, so I count this as a big plus. It recommends carbon batteries, but they can be hard to find locally. So far it is working okay with the regular alkaline batteries I installed.

Cute little clock
I am slowly redecorating my office and saw this little gold and white clock , so unique and really matches my office vibe ! Arrived perfectly packaged out batteries in the back and was very easy to set the time. The item is much smaller than I thought it would be but still works perfectly for a decor piece.

Elegant desk alarm
It looks elegant and expensive. The alarm is loud and setting it is easy. The built-in light is perfect for dark room. I don’t think I hear ticking sounds so that’s a plus co’z it doesn’t bother me when I sleep. The only thing I wish the manufacturer made was have the numbers in black. I think it’ll make the clock stand out more and it’ll be easier to view time from all angles even just with 1 glance.

Great for Traveling
This little clock is adorable. Old school retro looking and light to pack. My family does an all ladies trip every year and some of the ladies have a thing about needing a clock in every room. So I thought, why not? I got it kind of like a joke but they loved it, and it really comes in handy. It’s simple to use and not annoyingly loud.

Nice Desk Clock
The desk clock works exactly as expected. It’s nice and compact while also looking stylish with the gold trims. The night light button conveniently lights up in the top left corner only but the time is still easily readable.The one drawback for me is that I was expecting the numbers on the face to be a darker gold color based on the photos, but they are actually a more yellowish color.Overall though, it’s an excellent compact desk clock.

Super Cool Looking!
I love the vintage look and feel of this cool clock. It’s super pretty and very functional. Too many times I’ve overslept because of power outages so I always use a backup battery clock too. This one is just awesome. It keeps great time, wakes me up when I need it, and just makes me happy.Would totally recommend!

Oh my gosh, this KAMEISHI RETRO BATTERY OPERATED ALARM CLOCK is absolutely darling!I love everything about it. I love the color, I love the style, I love the size. Everything about it is aesthetically pleasing.I love that it only lights up if you press it at night to see the time. The clock we have been using has a dim and bright setting, for seeing the time in the dark. You couldn’t turn off the light entirely. Even the dim setting was too bright for me. You may have to fumble around in the dark to find the button in the back of this clock, to turn on the light, but I’d much rather do that, and not have the room lit up all night.Our other clock made ticking noises all night. Usually it doesn’t bother me, but there are definitely times that it did. This clock is mercifully silent, until the alarm goes off. Nothing fancy. Easy settings. The alarm is loud enough to wake you, and that’s good enough for me. I’ve only had it a day, but it is keeping correct time with one AA battery, which does not come with the clock.This is cute and does everything I need it to do. If you want o’clock that is simple, without all the bells, whistles and extra features, this is a good one.It has two jobs: to keep the time, wake you up in the morning. Simple is good, especially at night when the last thing you need is one more smart device next to your head, while you’re trying to sleep.

Very nice clock
Super nice and super easy to use. It’s an old fashioned watch. It works with an AA battery. You wind it with the handles behind the clock and it has the alarm clock function. The light is a little dim but at night it shines well. I really liked it to put it in a bookshelf. I recommend it

Beautiful little clock
I wanted something small and subtle for décor on a bookshelf. With the classic white and gold color combo, this fit the bill. For something so small, it’s surprisingly legible. Since it is so small, though, I found it tough to make it stand on its own. It needed something contrasting to make it look like it belonged. This won’t be the centerpiece of your room, but it will add to the theme well.

Small and beautiful- perfect for the desk
I like this alarm clock a lot more than I thought I would. It’s small and compact enough not to be a bother and has very simple instructions. As an alarm clock, it’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The stand of the clock is also adjustable, so you can deal with the angles of the surface you put it on, for me, it’s my bedside table. The light function is just a button that turns on when you press and turns off when you release the button, but it is bright enough in a dark room. The instructions do recommend carbon-zinc batteries instead of alkaline, so I would keep that in mind. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase!!

Easy to Set
What a little cutie. This clock looks great works great. Has a little light , you press the button on the back and light come onwhile you press it. It runs very quietly. Has a huge drawback no snooze button… WHAT? So if your a person who gets right up or you just need a little clock for living room or bathroom not one for sleeping this is a very nice option. Runs on a AA battery.

I am a “noise issues” guy and can’t stand Noisy clock. This one is so quiet, and so far keeps perfect time. Not only that…….it looks very cute on my desk. It is pretty to look at. Can hardly see the numbers
The numbers in this clock are very faint. Even with the the night light on. I am so dissappointed. It’s such a pretty clock otherwise and works well. I placed it in my guest bedroom but it will eventually be replaced. Sad.

I was rather disappointed with this clock. I gave it two stars because it does not serve the purpose for which it was ordered, although other users may find it more pleasing. I ordered it for my elderly mother with the hope that she would be able to see the time in her bedroom at night.PROS:It seems to be well made. The base is sturdy and does not wobble.The knobs for setting the time and alarm are easy to use.The alarm is loud and consists of the common repeating rapid burst of 4 high pitched beeps.CONS:The numbers on the face are pale yellow, making them very difficult to see, even in daylight. Black numbers would have been much better. The image on the Sah Creatives website appears to be brown numbers – even that would be better than pale yellow. The light for nighttime viewing is located in the upper left portion of the face and shines across the face (sort of). You can’t see the numbers and have to guess at the time by making out the position of the hands. I’ve attached a video of the light in action. I incorrectly assumed that the face would be back-lit. Mom can’t tell the time just using the light.As I mentioned, other customers may find this product useful, but for our purposes it will not do.
