Good skill building toy.
Smaller than expected, (only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars) still safe for an 18 month old toddler. Overall good hand-eye coordination toy. Will be great for shape identification and counting as he gets older.

Cute wooden toy
This toy is pretty sturdy and the pegs aren’t loose at all. Love the subdued colors. My 19 month old daughter can name all the shapes after a couple of days so it’s been wonderful watching her learn. My only complaint is I wish there was a tiny bit more space between each shape’s pegs. She has a hard time getting the last one off because her chubby hands can’t quite grab it with the amount of space there is. I help her and she’s happy and continues on so it works out fine. Overall, cute toy and she likes it.

Not for 1 y.o kids.
It’s too much for them at that point

Not safe for toddlers
The pegs have broken off multiple times. It’s not safe for young children. Especially those who still put things in their mouths (teethers). Pretty disappointed because it looks beautiful. Would not recommend.

NOT SAFE FOR LITTLE ONES!!!!
I bought this for my 20 month old and he almost immediately got his little finger stuck in one of the pieces. I was thinking I was going to have to go get it cut off but finally got it free with some oil. Do not buy!!!!!

We love this!
I’m always a sucker for neutral wooden Montessori toys. This is so cute, and the colors are wonderful. My just-turned 2 year old loves this. It is awesome for learning to count, developing coordination, and learning shapes. It’s sturdy – we have had no problems with broken pegs or even chipping paint.

Love it!
Keeps my one year old entertained for a while so mommy can get some things done. And it’s great for learning shapes and counting. Colors too!
