I am so buzzing about this purchase. I had bought a wooden till from little Dutch and wanted to make up a shop situation and teach her money and names of foods. I love that you can chop certain ones (that’s her fave bit) and I love how well made they are. The bag is very cute and solid and you get a lot for your money in this bundle. I bought this for my 2 yo granddaughter. I am highly impressed with the quality of this set. My only complaint is the egg carton – it is just like a real carton made of recycled cardboard that does not seem incredibly long lasting. Other than that, very well made.

Really adorable.
My students love this toy and I’m totally charmed by it too. It’s really cute with lots of thoughtful touches, like a little separate bag for the garlic, or the velcro inside the eggs being yellow. I love that it includes a sturdy bag to keep everything together. The eggs even come in a little cardboard egg carton, which is adorable, but unfortunately mine arrived with the lid already ripped. This would probably happen eventually anyway with kids, but still a bit of a bummer. I do think there were a few missed opportunities with some of the food. A few items can’t be “cut”, such as the steak, the fish, and (inexplicably) 3 of the 6 eggs. It also would have been fun if the tuna can could be opened and shut (especially if the fish would fit it there). Overall, though, it’s a great little set and I know it will get a ton of use!

I completely forgot to take a photo of it when I opened it to check it (it’s for my son’s birthday) but I’ll update with a photo. Its so beautiful. The wood is smooth so no risk of splinters, and it’s a super well made toy. Great quality. 10/10!

Very cute set. Bought this as a gift for 2 and 3 year old grand kids and they loved it! Very durable and great craftsmanship. Comparable to the Melissa and Doug sets, only better in my opinion.

Wood Play Food
This is a very nice set of wood play food. Included is a sturdy canvas shopping bag (11 inches by 8 with handles), play food, knife and cutting board. All food items except for the egg carton (cardboard) and garlic bag (netting) are wood with a protective finish. Some of food items are velcroed together – eggs, pepper, carrot, avocado, garlic, mushroom. It is extremely satisfying to use the wood knife (shaped more like a butcher knife) and cutting board to slice the food apart. While the food is on the smaller size, they are of high quality, nicely painted and sanded. The larger pieces are about 3.5 inches long – steak and tuna can, soda bottle 4 inches tall). There are some rougher edges, but on inside pieces or edges that are not handled, and could not be sanded. The food is painted deeper organic colors that enhance the realistic look. Garlic cloves come in a net bag, eggs (three solid, three velcro split) in a egg carton, the tuna can has a pull tab (securely glued). My favorites are the adorable milk carton, and slicing the food apart (so fun!).

Super cute and quality set of wooden play food
My almost 4 year old son loves to pretend cook and I like to give him wooden over plastic if it’s an affordable option. This set is great for the price. The wood feels like it’s quality solid wood and would be durable as a toy. The pieces are bigger than I thought and a very realistic size for a child. I took a picture of the pieces with a can of tuna for size perspective (sorry I forgot to put the apron in the picture). I love that the knife is a cleaver type and not the regular eating type since my son already has like 3 of these. This wooden knife cuts thru the pretend food well. And they were good with the inside designs of the foods, I love all the details. As shown in the photos, not all the food cuts so please keep that in mind. The only issue I found in that the finish on the inside of 1-2 of the eggs were a little imperfect (see second photo) but super minor. Would highly recommend to others.

I love this food playset!
I have a two-year-old son that is getting into kitchen sets and pretend play. I love buying him wooden toys because they are more durable and I love how they look. This food playset is outstanding and I’m so glad I got it!First, this food playset is so creative and I love everything that comes with it. It comes with a tuna can, milk, and even foods you can cut with the pretend knife and cutting board. The set comes with a bag where you can put everything in when you’re done playing. The pieces themselves are made very well and are painted beautifully. I have looked at each piece and I haven’t noticed any cosmetic damage every piece looks perfectly done. Overall, if you’re looking for an amazing food playset for your kids this is my must-have! This set is so adorable and I love how much fun it is for my kids. I highly recommend this for parents or even as a gift!

So adorable!
I got this because of the carton of eggs. But there is a pumpkin in there that’s green with an orange stem. I think the paint was reversed or I’m getting my fruits mixed up. There are also 6 eggs, 3 can be cut in half but the other 3 are just solid wood.My toddler has been enjoying this collection added to her play kitchen. She would cut up anything that allows her to. I also love that this came with a bag to store all the ingredients in!

Such a great starter food group set!
This is such a great little starter food group set! The wood is solid. some of the veggies are cut-able, there are eggs to play with in their own carton. Its so adorable! and all feel so durable! I love being able to give my toddler to similar food to what Im actually cooking to cook herself in her own little kitchen too.

I love this set. It reminds me of the play food I had when I was a kid in preschool. It’s that kind of quality… in other words VERY GOOD QUALITY. Back in the day the quality was better for stuff like this. Nowadays it’s a lot of cheap plastic. But not with this set. Excellent gift for young children.

Absolutely gorgeous quality. Even the eggs have yellow velcro which was just a lovely addedd bonus! The quality honestly suprised me for the price.We got it for our 18 month old, howeve I would say if your babe puts things in their mouth some of the bits may be a bit too small until they are older 😊Very happy with it!
