Entertaining for kids and adults
I really love this toy. It holds the attention of my kids for an extended period of time without screens or batteries. The sound is pleasant for parents to listen to, unlike some of the repetitive electronic toys. It is very harmonious, with the different sized petals producing different tones. Adults, including myself, also enjoy dropping the wooden marbles down the tower. This marble tree is taller than I expected, but that is great. It’s 28 inches and can sit on the floor or low table to be played with. This thing looks great sitting out as a decoration when not being used. The assembly was fairly easy, but definitely a job for an adult. My kids helped by finding the next largest petals and handing them to me. The hardest part was getting the screw all the way in the post from the bottom. I even got my own screwdriver because the little thing they provide would never have had enough torque. You have to make it bite into the soft wood of the base so that it doesn’t rub on the surface underneath or cause teetering. After tightening as much as possible, the post still has a very slight wobble to it. The 4 foam feet help a little. The petals fit easily but snugly into the slots. They included glue if necessary, but I didn’t need to use it. The parts are staying together well. The finish on some of the pieces seems like it slipped by quality control. There is something like cardboard strips processed into the wood on the inside of the base., and I included a picture of this flaw. One of the edges along the base is very rough like it scraped instead of getting a clean cut. Also, the base and pole have a very raw finish and should have been finished. The paint on the petals has a speckled look, almost like dried water droplets all over them, but they don’t wipe off.Overall, this marble tree is great. They could improve on the cosmetic issues.

Huge pain to assemble but really cute
This toy is a giant pain to assemble. It comes in pieces that you have to assemble first to make sure you have them all on correctly and then you have to take it back apart and glue each piece back together. The assembly requires quite a bit from you. Once it is put together though, it is really cute and fun for kids. A few pieces have to be re-glued here and there as it is played with but overall it is a fun toy.

Mostly love!
My daughter loves this. You do need to glue the petals in for the best use. I wish the balls that came with it were bigger as they are very very small like marble size. I put those up and we used other large wooden balls we have and it works great for young age kids that way.

Nice Musical Tree
I was looking for Musical Tree for my Montessori at home so I ordered this one. This is a good-quality wooden musical tree. It is bright and colorful and has smooth edges. It is easy to put together, in my case some petals are not fitting properly. Once it’s ready, it generates a beautiful sound as wooden balls pass through this tree. My kids enjoyed it a lot. Please note: Ball size is small so children under 5 need adult supervision as it may be a choking hazard.

My kids love it! But purchase glue.

Ok, first, during set up I used my own screwdriver instead of their included wrench. The screw to attach the base to the bottom pole had a flat bottom instead of pointed, which is fine, but I couldn’t get enough force for the flat bottom with the little wrench. The aside, set up is easy – you simply slide the wooden petal pieces onto the slots, making sure the little nub is going down. Because they slide in so easily, they also slide out easily too, and if your toddler is anything like mine, they will continuously take or knock them out. There is a tiny(!!) bottle of mystery glue included in the box, but I am going to purchase some wood glue or something of the sort and permanently attach the petal and secure the top of the pole in place as well. There are 10 colored and 10 plain wooden balls included, and they are just slightly larger than marble size (so please keep choking hazard in mind for little kids). Sometimes they have a tendency to fly off, but that’s usually only when the petals get knocked out of place, so i’m hoping the glue will solve that problem.Love how much my kids like it and how happy it makes them 🙂

A fun toy, and a great product
The musical tree comes in parts and requires adult assembly. The process is fairly straightforward and not terribly time-consuming, given the number of pieces. The instructions seem to be written in imperfect English, but not in such a way as to be opaque.Once assembled, the product is large, sturdy, and colorful without being garish. There are two sets of marbles, one painted, the other not, and between the two, they are unexpectedly numerous. This is a nice feature so that you can send down a waterfall (so to speak) of marbles, thus creating different musical effects as the fins or branches sound together, creating overlapping musical notes. It also means that even if one or a couple of marbles should be lost over time, you still have plenty to play with. The base is a tray with a raised edge, which should help to limit such losses, and also serves to keep the marbles at hand, so that play can continue. The baby I watch is too young to play safely with marbles, which would definitely pose a choking hazard to someone their age, but they really enjoyed watching and listening as I demonstrated the activity. With a big smile on their face, their eyes would dart round and round, tracking the marble as it descended the tree, trying to reach in and catch the marble on its way down. Seeing their interest in wanting to hold the marble, I decided to try a larger, safer ball, so I grabbed one from an object permanence box, and it works just fine. The sound is different because the ball hits the fins differently, but because the tree is so large, it accommodates the much bigger ball, even at the top where the fins are the smallest and closest together. Now they can safely play and do the activity by themselves. As it comes, it is not appropriate for babies, but I was easily able to make it available to an older baby, by means of this simple swap.Recommended to families or classrooms seeking screen-free fun and hands-on exploration, especially if you’re looking for a musical activity.

Nice Montessori toy for kids
Daddy O’s Review – Purchased for my granddaughter. Taller than I expected and super simple to put together, only took 5 minutes. Comes with multiple balls to drop in. Good skill toy for kids without all the flashing lights. Would be five stars, but isn’t very sturdy and pieces detach easy. – Oscar

Not easy to set-up.
I was excited to get this for my grandson, but the set up is tedious. Once you get it set up, it’s very large and not easily to take down. The balls that come with it appear to be too small for little ones. Great concept, but not practical.

Big and really entertaining
This thing is bigger than you might expect- over 2ft tall.It does require assembly but it’s very simple to do, just bring your own philips screwdriver as the included one is a bit tough to use. The “leaves” can be glued in (with glue included) or just slotted together so you can take it apart again for storage. The finished product is really colorful and looks like a great piece of craftsmanship, and the process of setting the wooden marbles through it captivated our 3-year-old instantly. He saw us do it once and that was all he needed. It is measured and designed really, really well: he went from putting single marbles down to whole handfuls and only once or twice did any marble ever bounce out and need to be caught. It makes a great descending-scales xylophone kind of sound as they move, and sounds like a wooden wind chime.I won’t mark it down for this but there is a BIG warning to keep in mind: the wooden marbles are perfect choking hazards. They are grape-sized, lightweight, and wooden. These are the exact kind of objects that can snag in a throat and can’t be easily coughed out. Keep this away from any kids that are still putting things in their mouths- I would say ages 3+, 2 if you have a kid with good habits and supervision.

Cool toy!
This is a really fun and entertaining toy! It makes a cool sound when the balls drop onto each petal. The petals do require a bit of glue to stay in place but that’s ok. The balls are kinda small so definitely a choking hazard for little one so good adult supervision is necessary when playing with this musical tower. This would be a fantastic gift! It provides a ton of fun and teaches kids patience, cause and effect as well as hand eye coordination. Absolutely recommend this product!

Amusing even for adults!
Right out of the box I was not impressed. I put together airplanes for a living so this shouldn’t be an issue. It’s honestly not super complicated but the instructions are definitely needed. I chose not to use the glue just to make it a toy I can disassemble to put away, the screw driver included honestly was useless. I ended up grabbing a regular screw driver which made it much easier. It went together quickly and easily after that point. It’s much taller than I expected! Once I had it together, I even enjoyed the musicality of it and was very surprised at the quality of the sound. My daughter is almost two and my son is almost 6. They immediately were drawn to it! The pictures show a baby playing with this but I would probably hold off until they’re out of the mouthing phase as the included balls are a choking hazard.Overall beautiful toys!

Kids love it
My kids absolutely love this. Yes it was a pain to put together. The instructions don’t help much. But once you get the idea of it just gotta see the pattern of it. I did end up gluing down most of the leaves as they would pop off easily

Clear instructions !
This takes some time to build but the instructions are very clean so it really helped a lot. It comes with glue if some pieces don’t stick right. My toddler loves it !!! Definitely recommend watching your child while playing though as the balls are tiny and can be swallowed.

This musical tree is a lot of fun! My daughter had a mini version of this as a toddler. She’s 7 now and had so much fun with this one. It’s pretty large and all 3 of my kids enjoy watching and listening to the marbles roll down the leaves. Setup was super easy and the tree is very well made. The leaves vary in size and are painted nicely. There are no chips or sharp edges to worry about. There are plenty of wooden marbles included for everyone to enjoy. And the “music” is very soothing. We are all having fun with this one!

So very cool

Okay the instructions can be a little bit confusing but basically you’re going to attached the square rods together with a wooden peg. The lines around the rods need to be in a descending order so there needs to be one on each side essentially all the way down. There are pictures that show this but the pictures were confusing to me. The leaves are smallest on the top and bigger on the bottom. They can be a little difficult to get in but just follow the instructions and work on wedging them in. If for some reason they go in super easy and don’t stay in there is glue that you can put on there to keep them stable. And then when it’s all put together (should take somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes) you can start dropping the marbles down and the sound is just cool. My daughter is absolutely in love with this and we have been enjoying it.

Really cool

This musical tree is actually really cool and my kids love playing with it. As the wood balls fall down the tree each color leaf makes a different noise. Everything is wood and comes with glue if the leaves don’t fit snug into the center piece. One screw to connect the center column to the base. Very simple to assemble and doesn’t take up to much room. All in all it’s a really good product to keep them kids busy.

Easy to assemble, but…
This music tree was easy to assemble and it comes with lots of marbles. I’m not sure why this is being advertised with a little baby as it’s definitely not suitable for a little baby like that. The sound it makes is nice but not loud enough or varied enough in tone during the first two petal sizes. Another thing that may not be an issue for other ones but is for the one I received is that the base the tree attaches to was a bit flawed. The thin wooden veneer is wrinkled and folded in an area. It’s not a huge deal for me but I would not accept it if I were going to gift it. Again, it may just be an issue mine had but I think it may reflect qc oversight.
