Great toys
We love Melissa and Doug toys. They are kind of pricey but they are high quality and built to last. My daughter really loves everything Melissa and Doug

Well Made and Realistic
I have always loved Melissa & Doug brand items and this item did not disappoint. I first saw the cookie set at my daughters daycare and she was always playing with it when I was coming to pick her up. My daughter (who is three years old) loves this item and plays with it all day long. It is cute to see her using the kitchen mitt and spatula to get the cookies off the cookie sheet. My daughter loves taking the cookies out of the container and placing them on the cookie sheet, she counts the cookies as she does this, so bonus with her practicing her counting. She serves us the cookies and lets us pick which ones we like decorated the most. Playing with this item has actually got her interested in helping me bake for real.Pros:- Cookies are made from thick wood pieces- Cookie bases have velcro so they can stick to cookie sheet so they do not slip off- The Amount of Accessories: Tray which the cookies velcro on, a knife that “cut” the cookies, spatula, oven mitt, and container to hold all the cookies- Can “decorate” the cookie by placing the “icing” on the cookies by velcro- Comes with a container to hold all the cookies- All the items, to include the accessories, in the set seem really durableCons:- The velcro has already started getting dirty (have had it for only about a month) so I am not sure how long it is going to last- One of the velcro pieces on the cookie sheet started coming off due to my daughter putting them on and taking them off constantly. I used super glue and have not had anymore problems yet, but a little disappointing since I have only had a short amount of time- A lot of pieces (a good/bad thing) and my daughter seems to mess up the house a lot with her cookie set- Bulky: Fortunately I have the space for all her items, but to keep things organized due to the amount/size of the items at time can be hard.Overall, I highly recommend this item. Keeps my daughter entertained for hours at a time and she plays with it everyday. I love that she likes to count the cookies as she is playing with them and that it is getting her interested in helping mommy cook in the kitchen.

Super cute wooden toy for littles! My two year old loves it but I think it would be great even if she was younger!

Pretty Good
Not the quality I expect from Melissa and Doug. Looks like as they’re more mainstream, they’re also putting profits over quality. The cookies and tray are great, but the cardboard tube ends fall out all the time, so you can’t really reload the cookies. The mitten is thin and has no loop or anything to hang it. The knife and spatula have no real handle. It’s especially disappointing when you compare it to the quality of previous versions they sold.

Great Quality and open ended play
My 2yo granddaughter played with this at a friends house so I ordered one to keep at my house to entertain her. I love that there are several ways to play with this set. The “decorations” are removable (velcro) so they can add or remove them if they desire. When they are removed, the cookies all velcro together and the toy knife allows them to “slice and bake” the cookies. We look forward to many baking sessions and cookie parties over the next few years!

Melissa & Doug Toys Are The Best!!!
I purchased this for my 2 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it! I love the wooden toys for durability. They are so realistic, she thinks she’s actually baking cookies and serving them. Melissa & Doug toys will last for years if you take care of them. I highly recommend buying this for your kiddos or as a gift for a child. I believe it says 3+ for potential choking hazard. I just supervised closely when my granddaughter plays with it since she’s under the age.

Let’s make Cookies
I gifted this cute little set to my grandson who is obsessed with watching his mamma bake . This set is so cute , durable and even comes with a hot-mitt . Be prepared for cookie tasting , fawning over how hot the cooking tray is and what a wonderful little baker your little one is . We loved it .First off you can never go wrong with wooden toys and M&D products never disappoint .

Loved the cookies
But the canister that they included is really weak and the cookies fall out both ends. One of the cookies doesn’t have Velcro so my child kept trying to pull it off with no success. The spatula is a little too think to get them off the pan successfully but the quality is superb (other then the canister) I would definitely buy Melissa and Doug products again.

Soooo cute!!
I am absolutely obsessed with all things Melissa and Doug, especially the wooden toys. These cookies are super adorable and have been loved by all of our kids (ages 5, 4, and 2.5). My only complaint is that the Velcro is already becoming less functional after less than a month of use. Other than that, these are awesome and a perfect addition to our play kitchen!

We only received 11 cookies
I ordered this months ago and just gave it to my granddaughter for Christmas. We only received 11 cookies. Considering she is at the counting stage, it is very noticeable to her one is missing. Is there a way to get a 12th cookies? The product is the quality as expected.

Quality
This is the second purchase from this brand that I was disappointed with. I have purchased other items made by them and was happy with. The tube that holds the cookies isn’t very sturdy and the lid is extremely hard for a little one to remove. I had a hard time with it. The cookies sheet is an odd size. It is a to big for the oven door to close all the way not buy a lot maybe 2 inches so that was a disappointment and again the utensils are strange. The spatula is to thick to make it easy to remove the cookies from the velcro and the knife is an odd shape. I gave it a 3 because the cookies are cute and I liked the velcro idea. Also I have 2 nephews and 3 nieces that all have different kitchens made by different companies and the cookie sheet does not fit in any of them😔

Thought these would be boring – thought wrong!
I got these as a gift for my 3 yr old niece for Christmas because she loves pretending like she’s baking cookies. I, being the dweeb I am, googled top gifts for 3 yr old girls, and this was recommended but I thought the lack of bright colors might make it not as fun of a gift.Happy to report back that I had the MOST entertaining gift of the fam. She for some reason really, really was into this. Also super cool because it came with an oven mitt so she can cook with her dad and the cookies and icing are velcro.Super cute and simple gift to keep your future baker entertained.

Nice & well made
My grandchild loves this cookie bake set. It’s sturdy and well made. My only peeve with it is that the velcro circles that allow the bake pan and cookies to stick & the icing and cookies to stick is just too strong. The aggressive velcro sticking makes it difficult for a toddler to do it themself, causing frustration.
Jay-man –
4-year old granddaughter loved it.
As soon as she opened it up on her birthday, she “prepared” some cookies, put on the oven mitt, and served all the adults. Great “pretend” gift. Lest you think that her granddad only buys her little girl stuff, I have bought her a hockey mask/rubber scythe and Hess Trucks in the past! She liked them, too.

Hours of entertainment
My toddler (2) uses these all the time. He quickly grasped the steps to make cookies after I showed him and happily replicated it over and over and over again. I’ve eaten so many pretend cookies these last few weeks that I’ve probably gained 50 pretend lbs. This would be the perfect addition to any play kitchen. We don’t have one so we pretend the 2nd shelf on his bookcase is the oven and he still gets so much joy out of it.Everything tidies up easily for storage and I don’t have a single complaint. Well made. No small parts for the baby to get hold of. 10/10 toy

Hours of Fun
Our grand daughter is 28 months old and absolutely loves this cookie set. She has a little toy kitchen and she plays every day with this cookie set. Unfortunately, the cookie sheet is too big to fit in her toy oven but that doesn’t stop her one bit. I highly recommend this set as a gift.

Continues to engage grandchildren
I originally purchased this in 2016 for a Pre-K granddaughter to help with small motor skills. I was amazed how popular it was with all the grandchildren even the 8 yr old. There would be all this chatter and bunching up in the playroom & then kids winding through the adult conversation offering cookies. I bought a second in 2017 for my almost 4 grandson and it continues to be a go to toy. He will come out with his cookies and provide elaborate descriptions of them, warn that the cookie sheet is hot, etc. I sat reading during one such baking adventure & observed him sliding the tray under the tablecloth draped table. Upon inquiry he informed me that this was the oven, and raised the edge of the cloth to let me peek at the cookies. Many toys seem like a good idea to adults but are ignored or fail to provide real play value. This succeeds.

My Favorite Melissa & Doug Set
So far I have bought 3 of these sets of Melissa ‘n Doug Slice and Bake cookies. They are sooooo cool. First you have a cardboard cookie tube that they all fit into. How easy is that for storage. Then you get the plate which has velcro on it that the cookies stay when placed. How cool is that? Then you have frosting and sprinkle topping pieces that you velcro to the cookie. It is sooooo cute. Kids take the cookies out of their oven with the oven mitt you get . They can slice cookies with the play knife and serve with the play server. It’s so fun. Plus when the kids walk around to offer you a cookie, the cookies are not all tumbling all over the floor. I love this set….I love this set….I love this set. Nothing compares and It’s one of my favorite M & D products. One note: IF you have a play kitchen and want the tray to fit inside the oven, be sure to measure the oven size first so you know it will fit. It does fit most playsets!

The most played with “pretend play” toy in our house!
We have loads of pretend play things in our house (dress up clothes, little people playsets, doctor kits, animals, etc…). Most of it just lays around untouched. This cookie set is the exception. My son loved it when he first received it a year ago and still plays with it often. We have other Melissa and Doug sets as well: the ice cream set, cupcakes, food slicing, and pizza sets. He plays with those, but not nearly as much as the cookies. His friends like thisDS found an old timer to keep in his set and uses the box as his oven. We also put some small paper plates in for added play. Some skills DS has learned with the help of this set (with adult interaction):-sorting by color/topping-counting to 12-learning what a dozen is-fine motor skills through cutting-oven safety-simple dividingOverall, the set has held up well over the past year. None of the paint is chipping yet and the velcro still sticks. Two of the velcro circles on the cookie sheet are starting to peel up, but nothing a little super glue can’t fix. We use the box for storage when it isn’t being used and it has faired pretty well for cardboard.DS (4) says “I like it cause I get to make cookies. It is so awesome.” I would highly recommend this product.

My 2 year old and 4 year old both love these!
We have a plat kitchen with an oven and both my kids, but especially my 2 year old daughter, will bake me cookies almost daily. It’s the sweetest thing. The loves to use the oven mitt to take the cookies out of the oven. She even uses the little wooden spatula to get the cookies unstuck from the velcro baking skeet. They seriously thought of everything with this set.Not to mention the cookies and accessories are SO cute. I’m a picky mom (try to be) when it comes to our toys and these really are nice to look at. Plus we bought them at Christmas and they still look brand new even with frequent use (It’s now May.) Love Melissa and Doug!

My 2 year old loves this set
The cookies are a bit difficult to slice or scoop up off the tray because the velcro is rather strong but I’ve noticed with similar toys it gets easier over time so that’s not a huge problem. The tray also does not fit in our play oven but that was on me for not checking the dimensions. None of that is enough to stop my child from asking for the set to play with multiple times a day though

This set is great for kids that like to pretend cook
This set is really nice quality. The velcro works even after years of the kids playing with it. My kids use every piece of this set. Really nice how they can take off the toppings and change them around. There are many cookies so it’s a nice set that there are many pieces for the kids to share. They love to serve us pretend cookies all of the time. They pretend bake their cookies and play restaurant with each other with these. We’ve had this for a long time and the set is still in really good shape. The cookie case that the cookies are supposed to come in did not last. It is cardboard and it got ruined pretty quickly just kind of fell apart and got all bent up. Not a big deal they really didn’t play with that piece anyways. They still play with these often and when their friends come over these are always a popular toy they play with. Good for all kids.

Great imagination toy for kids
We originally bought this cookie set about 3 years ago when my oldest was 4, and it has been a staple with my kids ever since. I just bought it again because we lost a few of the icing pieces, and my youngest, now 4, loves having a fresh set. They love to pretend to cut and give out cookies to all of us. My 6 year old isn’t as into it anymore, but definitely recommend for ages 3-6.
