One of the best toys!
This toy is high quality and very well made. The wooden pieces and the magnets are very durable. This keeps my son’s attention for long periods of time.We enjoy playing the fishing game by selecting different colors. You can easily incorporate some some learning by asking your child to “fish” out specific letters and numbers. I have added this item to my list of go-to gifts for upcoming birthday parties.

Great learning toy
I bought this for my 2yr old grandson. He loves it! The magnets on the poles are strong so it’s easier for the little ones to catch the fish. I like that he can learn numbers, letters, and colors all at the same time. The bag that comes with it is perfect also. He carries it with him everywhere!

Fun learning tool
Our almost 3 year old loves this item. She really enjoys “catching” the fish with one of the three “fishing poles” that come with the board and telling me the letter or number that’s in the fish and if the same letter or number was under the fish.

Great for eye hand coordination and matching where the letters and numbers go. Can teach recognition of many things with this game.

Fishing game
I like the durability of the game but wish it had a spinner or a dice to make the child have a purpose to what they are fishing for.

Numbers and letters are in the best order
I took a point away because as much as it’s cute and a great idea for learning, I don’t like how it’s assembled. For instance there’s a line or 2 of letters then the letters are going down the sides where as the numbers go in the middle.Makes more sense to do the full alphabet AND THEN numbers (and signs if need be)

Cute game but duplicate letter
I bought this fishing game to use with my kids for speech therapy. I realized once we started using it that it included two letter “N” and no “x”. That can be a bit frustrating for a child that has Autism and wants all the letter and numbers to be accounted for. Other than that they have enjoyed the game.

Ideas?
I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson. I figured I should learn how to play with it before I give it to him. There are no instructions or play guides recommending “games” to play. Are you supposed to load the fish into the proper letter/number hole? The fish are cute, well made and I’m sure they will be easy and fun to “fish”, just expected a little more instruction.

Perfect for the preschooler
The media could not be loaded.
I ordered this for my preschooler’s classroom. As soon as I unpacked it, he wanted to play. And this kept his attention. The premise of the game is to match the fish with its correct letter or number. This has helped him to recognize his letters and numbers to the point that both myself and his teachers have noticed growth.

Multiple way to play
My daughter is really into animals right now and fishes are on her top 3 favorite. So I decided to buy this set because it reminded me of a toy I used to play when I was her age. Well, she absolutely loves it. She loves stacking the fish and sorting them by the colors. The magnet is very strong, which is good and the wood is very good quality.

Beautiful, wooden, educational!
My two kids played with this for over 30 minutes when I first took it out of the box! The wooden pieces are heavy (not cheap feeling) and well made. Each fish has a number or letter that matches the hole it fits into and the magnets are strong! You could definitely gift this!

This product is great on so many levels
Currently, this is the favorite toy in my preschool class. It is great on so many levels. It works fine motor skills, color recognition, and as the year progresses we will move towards letter recognition. It is money well spent.

Perfect for kindergarten/preschool
Comes with a handy storage bag and three magnetic fishing rods. I use it for my daughter who is going to Kindergarten. First I have her fish a letter or number, I have her say it three times, write is three times and then I teach her the signs in ASL. When she’s done fishing she can match them back up and say them again!
