Great train set for the value.
For the price of about $100 total, it’s a great buy for a train set that included everything. The table itself is very nice. Just the right size! Took less than 10minutes to put together. No rough edges and has bright colors. My toddler spent the first half hour looking at the pictures on the side of the table instead of playing with the train set. There’s plenty of cars, a nice magnet train, people, trees, road signs, and even a little tug boat and helicopter that spins. These little toy pieces are very nicely made with smooth edges and of high quality. I end up hiding some of the people and scenery because the table got a little too busy. The track is well design except I wish the support for the elevated curved tracks have more of a snap fit so the track doesn’t slide off the support beam as easy with rougher play of a 18month old. However the workmanship/quality of the track is not on par with the table or rest of the set: few pieces of the track having wood splinter (See pictures). Not a huge problem as it can be filed down and kids won’t touch that end of the track. There’s one side of the tunnel track that did not fit with the next piece and I had to shave off the bottom edge of that end of the tunnel to make it fit (see picture). This might be only in the set I got and not in others but still it means the tracks are of less quality then the rest of the set or there is less quality control. We got a Harpe train set before and I didn’t have any quality problem with their track. This is still an awesome train set for the money despite the track issue and I am happy with the purchase, so is my toddler!

Eh its ok
It’s not what I expected but the kids are happy. First the track are hard to put together they are like wooden puzzle pieces but they don’t fit snug so the tracks fall apart everytime you want to add another piece secondly the wooden people and cars are super small including the other things. I just thought it would be more quality since it’s over $100

Thomas the Tank Engine Track Master trains are NOT compatible.
It was easy to assemble and my kids enjoy it. My first issue is that the tracks are not as sturdy as I had hoped for but I saw a few reviews mention that so I at least saw it coming. My biggest issue is that I read some of the questions about this product and someone asked if it fits Thomas the Tank Engine trains and the general consensus was yes. Turns out that it does NOT work with the newer plastic Thomas the Tank Engine Track Master trains. The trains are too tall to go under the bridge, too wide to go over the bridge, and the wheels get stuck on the turns. The train provided with the set works okay thankfully. The wheels rotate to accommodate for turns but sometimes they rotate weird and knock the train off of the tracks. All in all though, this is a solid product. Its hard to find a decent quality train table for this low of a price. This one is the best in its price range from what I can tell.

Arrived messed up
The box was trashed when item arrived. The bags inside had clearly been open and returned by a previous buyer. The table was dinged and paint was chipped in some parts. The gate for the railroad was broken I had to hot glue it. Had no choice to use as is due to it being my sons birthday present.

A lot of pieces
Not sure on this for it was a gift to my grandson for his birthday. And when he opened it was in a million pieces. But from what I seen it looked pretty neat

Horrible value. Poorly made. Fundamentally flawed.
I read the reviews and expected some problems, but this is remarkably bad compared to most other sets on the market. The tracks are so poorly cut they barely work with each other and only with a considerable amount of force. It sometimes takes a mallet to get them together or apart. Be prepared to get out your Dremel & sandpaper to make this useable. The mat is definitely not what was pictured or desired. The draw bridge is fundamentally flawed by design. A round peg that is quite common for these sorts of train set on the end that rises up would have been an easy way to make that section disconnect & reconnect to the continuing track easily. As it is now it sticks hard to the track usually lifting up the next section of track. That’s not even the worst part of the design. If it is hooked up to track on the female connection then the bridge can’t be lifted at all. It’s beyond poor tolerances this is incredibly bad design for a product of this cost. The boats, trucks, trees, & cargo are all good & a nice addition to my son’s play sets. He particularly likes moving cargo from boat to train.I know this product supposedly sells at Kohls & Bed Bath & Beyond. I wonder though if this is a knock off. As it stands now I would say it is a good value if it sold for $20 at Big Lots. There are plenty of $30 wood train sets at Walmart, Target, and elsewhere here on sahcreatives that are a significantly better value. This is the worst of the worst.

Not the greatest.
I was really excited to get this set. Unfortunately it feels cheaply made. The paint is faded in a few places, and there were missing toys to the set. Overall, I would have sent it back, but my sun really wanted a train set and I couldn’t get anything else in time.Assembly was easy.Doesn’t feel very sturdy and could easily break if leaned into wrong.Overall, I wouldn’t spend the money on this if I had known the quality.

Easy to install but disappointed as the board has chip
I am hoping the board will last but I’m disappointed after installing and discovered has defect. Edge of the board has separation. I am hoping the company will just replace a board that’s sturdier.

It’s beautiful

Beautiful & my 2yo loves it ! The train sucks hientsly . I’d buy a separate one just to have a better one cuz it’s frustrating that it doesn’t fit under the bridge and the wheels keep turning and it falls off the tracks a lot . Just get the simple 4 wheel trains . Ur kid will have more fun that way. I put 4 stars also because the two pieces of the table that the track sits on are just a bit too tights so they overlap a tiny bit . Other then that it’s the perfect gift! Has lots of cars that also go on the track . Can also play on it without the track with cars as well . The track pieces that support the raised part of the track are probably why the track isn’t ideal. They keep falling and track falls a lot on that side .

Not for climb crazy kids haha
My son is two/28lbs, climbed on top, ripped the board and that pulled out some screws and broke a Support beam. We did fix it by adding in screws of our own, so not that big of a deal. But just be aware if they’re not train obsessed, your kid may use this table as a playground haha. Just keep that in mind 👍

Cute but…
It was super simple to put together, however one of the pieces was missing the holes. My son had already started playing with the pieces so having to put it back in box to return would have been the end of the world, so I drilled the holes. Of course , it isn’t perfect so now there is a screw that sticks out on that side that we need to cover. Hoping it withstands the toddler test.

Don’t Expect Perfection! (Chips and Scratches)
The media could not be loaded.
The set is cute and nicely priced. I was so excited to buy it for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. Thankfully I ordered it early, because the first one had a big chip on board B. I ordered the second one, which also had some minor chips and scratches too. Although, I decided to keep the second set anyway. Hopefully it will hold up during play. We shall see. Her birthday is in two weeks. I put it together pretty easily. The diagramed track layout is slightly incorrect, with pieces E and F having to be switched because piece K had the female and male on opposite sides in comparison to diagram. The pieces are cute and colorful, but quality is fair at best. The train barely clears under the bridge. I put trees under it to make it taller. Also, the bridge supports move around when I play with it. We shall see how stable it is when my three years old granddaughter’s playing with it. Overall, I was torn. Such a cute table. Great price. Great size (not too big, not too small). But quality is fair at best and the chips and scratches are alarming. Both boxes had imperfections. The first picture is the chipped B board from first order. The remaining pictures are from the set I kept. As you see chips and scratches. The video shows how the train cannot clear under bridge.

Missing pieces
The color is amazing, the size is perfect, and the joy on my baby’s face was priceless. All that said, I really wish it actually came with everything that was supposed to be included; We’re missing what seems like an entire bag of pieces! This was a present for my son’s 3rd birthday so I couldn’t return it in time as I didn’t realize so much was missing until I was putting it together the night before. We made it work with what we had, and my son is obsessed with the train table either way, but I absolutely recommend looking elsewhere unless you have time to exchange it.

Small and very flimsy mat
I was expecting an actual play mat. Instead, it’s a very thin piece of cloth that doesn’t stay in place on the floor, so every time the kid touches it or steps on it the mat moves around causing the pieces and train tracks to fall over. I’m planning on getting a rubber mat and glue the cloth to it so it stays in place, but one really shouldn’t have to do that. The tracks and other wooden parts are fine and sturdy, though the drawbridge doesn’t really work well. Overall, there are a lot of pieces for such a small playing surface.

Would not recommend these
One had missing pieces it was the wooden stands that hold the house fire dept and hospital so we had to go out and find glue to glue them to the side😬and one had a stain like it had been wet 😩 they were easy to assemble and sturdy enough for toddlers the train looks more like a subway train than an engine w cars 🚂 but I will be ordering more trains for them bc these boys don’t kno Wht these are 😩 we purchased 2 of these for our great grandchildren

Missing a lot of pieces
The media could not be loaded.
Bought this as a Christmas present for my son extremely disappointed. When the box came in it looked like it was damaged so I opened it to check everything out, from what I could see no significant damage to the bigger piece’s. I was setting it up on Christmas Eve and went to go set up the scene to discover that I was missed a lot of pieces. I was missing one of the walls that hold up the bridge, 2 people, 1 traffic sign, all of the vehicles except the ambulance.

Great quality!
I was a little hesitant at first about buying this table because there were no previous reviews, but I am SO happy I did. It came very well protected in the packaging, BEAUTIFUL and vibrant colors and amazing quality. Very, very easy to assemble as well. All the pieces were there and the table and wooden decorations are absolutely flawless. Five stars!

Not the best
I hated that I got it and wrapped it didn’t know it had broken parts and looked used so couldn’t replace it because it was given to him and he wanted to play with his new toy of course and to top off the shock was the shame of not checking because it was at his birthday party in front of everyone who could see its damage and broken parts would not buy again

Mat didn’t match item photos or design
The wooden pieces with magnets are nice quality. We set it up with instructions with no issues. However, they sent the wrong mat scene to set it up on so the roads and water don’t match up at all with this design, for the boats, cranes, bridges etc. very irritating a couple days before Christmas! We ordered a second one in order to get the right scene mat, and it was also the wrong one (not the one pictured on sahcreatives)!

Not worth it.
ProsColorfulComes with LOTS of stuffYou can have a plain side to play or the street side Wich is niceCars are good qualityCons! The paint smears off so easy. My child set a cup on I picked it up to wipe the table top the color came right off! Very very disappointing considering this is for a child they will inevitably get something on it. You can’t whipe this table the color smears off. Don’t even consider using something like a baby wipe unless you want a color spot missing. It’s quit flimsy. The table tops paint rubs off itself. The table top is reversable but the picture is going to rub off whatever side you have face down. This is a beautiful set but it will look trashy and ruined fast if ridiculous. Minimal play and mine looks like it’s been thru a daycare and then some. Very dissatisfied with the quality. The accessories were nice but the table itself it’s absolutely trashy. Very very very unhappy with this purchase.

Must have, great value
I gave this to my 2 year old son as an early birthday present and he has not stopped playing with this since we got it and has kept the train track that was included on it together. Great value, the train track and accessories alone would have cost $50 separate. It has been a godsend to keep him busy during this pandemic.

Just ok. Wrong mat sent
While the pieces are just fine, we were sent the wrong mat so they can’t really use it as a “town”. The cut outs for the track is poorly done so they don’t all fit together very well. I guess for what I payed I should have expected this 🤷♀️

Easy assembly and a less messy play area

Tough to keep together
Nice wood pieces. The struggle is that it must be put together a certain way and that includes using the supports to get the track off the ground. The pieces are very very easily separated by the slightest shake or motion, especially the raised ones. So, not the greatest for a 3 or 4 year old. I’ve thought about gluing them together or something so he can at least run a train over them without track becoming disconnected.

Best.Gift.Ever.
This was a birthday gift for my three-year-old grandson. It was easy to put together, and all of the parts fit perfectly together; we have not had any of the issues that others have had with needing to file down or smooth the pieces. Anthony adores it! He plays with it constantly. In fact, he did not want to go to bed the night he got it, so I would recommend giving it earlier in the day.

Prefect gift for little children who love trains
Order came in immediately. Package was in perfect condition. All of the pieces fit, great quality. Everything was easy to assemble. None of the items were hazardous, felt safe well my grandson played for hours each day. I bought additional train pieces from another brand that had Thomas the tank and it work fine on the track as well. My grandson loved it!

Does not make sense.
The train track is over the streets so it doesn’t make sense. The train wheels go in every direction and does not stay on the track. It was horrible to put together and came with no instructions. The houses, cars and people are cute and work. I am going to throw away the train track and keep it a city with houses, cars and people. The train track is to big for the table.

Looks good…falls apart due to poor fitting of pieces
Our son likes to play with this rail road. Not for a long time though. Placement on the table is definitely useful. However, poor fitting of pieces makes the railways to fall apart every time he tries to move the train or the cars along the rails, especially the elevated part. I would have probably chosen the flat design – not as interesting but more practical.
