Bought three and the first one is great.. tbd on others
I was nervous buying these because there were so few ratings. I took a shot since they could always be returned thanks to good ole SAH Creatives. I bought three of these and have only setup one so far. I’ll update once I get to the others together. You’ll need your own screw driver and to go about the setup at a fairly slow pace. It’s not bad and it’s definitely worth it. Now don’t get me wrong, the wood does peel and it can leave some sharp edges if damaged. Better to keep a little sand paper for rough spots. Not dangerous, but a risk for splinters. All in all I’m happy with the look, sturdiness, and feel. I’d recommend to others.

These boxes are cute & fairly easy to put together
These boxes are cute & fairly easy to put together. My only issue with them is that the wood is soft & a bit more fragile than I expected. That is a great thing for anything you are setting them on, but they can get damaged easily. My first set came damaged, and I had to get replacements. They are a great look for my home & will hold my items to stay organized.

Ignore the useless directions
First off, I’m a woman in her 60s with not very strong hands but I have also assembled furniture kits most of my life and I’ve learned that most directions included in these kits stink. The best way to assemble this box is to use painters tape and put the pieces together and secure with the tape. This allows you to line up the pieces. Position the box so the screw holes are facing up. Use your free hand to hold the corners in position while you bear down to penetrate the receiving board and screw into place, inserting a screw into the lower corners on each side. This allows you to line up the screws at the correct angle. Next, do the screws on the top corners, making sure the line up each board then finish with remaining center screws. Start to finish, it took me 15 minutes to assemble including taping time. CAREFULLY remove the painters tape so as not to damage the finish. I wasn’t careful with one piece of tape and pulled off a tiny splinter of wood but I easily touched it up with a furniture touch up marker. I bought this to put a rustic style Christmas tree base into that has a 9 inch diameter metal plate to make the tree taller than the 6 foot current height. The inside diameter of the box is 9 7/8 inches.

Makes a great box feeder
I’m using this as a box feeder for my dog. It works great for that and I imagine it would work great for what it was intended for as well. Good quality and seems like it will hold up well.

Look nice
For the price these look good. They might be stackable but not securely, they don’t have anything for them to stay in place. Directions were awful.

Looks good. Easy to assemble.
The media could not be loaded.
• This is a light storage box and looks good if you like the rustic look.• This box is not for you if you’re looking to store heavy objects.• Once you screw the pieces together, it is sturdy and there is no wobble.• I used a powered screwdriver to speed up assembly. I chose the lowest torque setting because the wood is soft.

Nice and Sturdy!
I have purchased and assembled three of these, and although the lazy in me would rather they come pre-assembled, it wasn’t hard to do. They come with very sharp wood screws and a small screwdriver that is adequate for the job. The technique that worked for me was to put the box completely together first, holding or propping up anything that might move while I was screwing in the sides. You have to treat it like lug nuts on a tire, screwing in the sides using a diagonal approach and not screwing anything in too tightly all at once. As you get near the end, lean on the box to get the sides nice and flush. Voila!

Misaligned Holes
One line of the pre-drilled holes doesn’t line up with where they need to go to attach to the other board. 😑 Huge pain in the butt to have to repack it, send it back, and wait for a replacement. Hopefully it’ll be worth it.

Returned it
There are no predrilled holes on the receiving board for the screws. I do not have the hand strength to force a screw into wood with no pilot hole and I was not going to split the wood. I returned these and I went back to the Kirigen brand box.

Screws don’t go in easily and screwdriver breaks
Half the screws won’t go in all the way, so they aren’t flush with the box. The screwdriver provided was stripped after pulling 5 screws in, so I need to find another one to finish putting together

Hard to put together.
The screws did not work with the screw driver provided OR with my electric drill. I had go buy wood screws at the hardware store to put it together.

Came apart in the end.
Looks stylish. Assembly was ok. The sides screwed in stayed in place. Unfortunately, the other wood pieces came unglued and the box fell apart into pieces making it unusable.

Don’t buy this
This product simply doesn’t assemble correctly. The screws immediately destroy the wood, and even if you meticulously screw all of them in by hand, it still ends up uneven. Good luck to you if you try to set this up without a drill. You’re better off just cutting down a tree yourself and trying to make a cube

Poor quality
Wood is flimsy, piece broke off the base as I pulled out of packaging. Panels do not line up well and feels rickety. Extremely disappointing.

Problems with assembly.
Some of the holes were too close to the edge causing damage to one box when it came through. Assembly was difficult and the only way they will be stable is to screw them together. I would have returned the one box but was able to hide the damage and something like that is difficult to return..

UMM…..
Thanks for the screwdrivers, but……..This was the worst assembly ever!! So hard flr no reason. The worst to screws in the screws on the sides. The side if the box that the screws go into does not have the holes, so you have to use your strength to get the screws to go in. I have blisters on my fingers lmao. Theyre cute once assembled, but absolutely dreadful to put together

It is sometimes difficult to buy online, but this box looks good and lasts.
I was a little hesitant when the box arrived unassembled and the wood was lightweight, but it was so simple to put together and it has lasted quite awhile. I have it on the bottom of a shelf to hide the cable box and wires. So while we are not using it on a daily basis, it does get pulled in and out at times and is still sturdy. It looks really nice as well, like a heavy box. Great for displaying while using for storage because they look high quality. I dont have any idea if they would withstand being tossed around a playroom everyday, but mine is perfect.

Exactly what I wanted
I have too many books laying around got this to hold a few. Should have gotten a bigger one but it is still great. The books aren’t pushed all the way back so it’s a lot of space.

Easy to assemble. I store a dozen glass sheets in it so it’s heavy, but the box is holding up.

Hard to Assemble, Do not give as gift
Hard to assemble. Instructions are useless. There are no predrilled holes on the receiving board. You will put the five pieces of the boxes together with your hand strength and screwing with the screwdriver as hard as you can to get it put together. This setup makes the boards not sit at 90-degree angles and requires you to screw and unscrew in order to get the screws at the right angle. It is only holding hairbrushes and where no one will see it, so I kept it. Otherwise, it would be returned. It seems to be a high price for as much labor as the customer will need to do.

Not wood, too expensive for quality
These boxes are not wood – they are some sort of pressed foam/wood byproduct. Extremely light, look good, but too expensive and break easily. Also extremely tired of having to put items together – this is not IKEA!

Looks great. Easy to put together.
I hate having toys all over the place. My kids older but my dogs are spoiled and these open brown wooden boxes are perfect. They match the decor, easy to put together, study and easy to throw in all the toys.
