Great gift – wish it was a little more sturdy.
The media could not be loaded.
I don’t regret the purchase but some recommendations: 1. The produce is stickier rubber so if you have animals or just even just dirt, it’ll get dirty. Holes in them will make it harder to clean.2. Be careful moving this unless you do it in pieces or with 2 people. The back of it is only connected by a few screws to the side with the conveyor belt.3. The register is sturdy but lacks noise (which isn’t really too bad) but it is t connected so I’d recommend getting Velcro for the bottom. The credit card reader is shallow, again not a deal breaker but just would be nicer to slide without it coming out.The “total screen” can be used with chalk, again, doesn’t sit too deep so it falls out easily.4. You do get 4 pieces of each produce so there’s enough and the shelves are cute to add other things.Would recommend for the price compared to other similar sets and their prices.

Cute and good quality !!!
Really Nice play store. Good value for the money (compared to Melissa and Doug). It is a bit shorter than we thought but will still be a good size for our 4 year old (and 1.5 year old)! We bought it for Christmas so the kids haven’t gotten it yet! Overall a good deal for the price and appears sturdy. We did purchase a different cash register that “works/scans” so it’s more fun because this is wooden . The conveyer belt works so well and is darling ! Comes with lots of nice food products and a shopping bag.It gets 5 stars for the product ….and 3 stars for assembly.Ok …assembly…after reading reviews we set aside an entire evening . It took my husband Approx 1 hour to lay out all the pieces and figure out what they were . Only 1/2 of the pieces are marked so you can kind of go off of those to match to the unmarked ones. I recommend grouping them out in alphabetical order because that’s how the directions are written (ex A1, A2, B1 Etc) . Once it was sorted, it took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble with both of us working on it . You really need two people to hold the pieces and the other to use the power tool. The directions are in black and white and it doesn’t give very much detail on how to connect pieces. We used the pictures from Sah Creatives and review pictures mostly to piece it together (I added more pics to this review). …!Once we got going it went together pretty “easily” with only a few things we had to undo and change . If you like puzzles , you’ll enjoy it lol. Just grab a drink and you’ll be fine .Overall , well worth a little effort!!!Hope this is helpful .

The build is tough
This was very stressful to build. Once you get past the cursing and aggravation of the build the finish product is great. Took off one star bc the instructions could have been executed better

Kids absolutely love playing with this toy!
My 6 and 4 year old boys love playing with this toy a lot. It was one of their favorite Christmas toys. They absolutely love playing with this toy and have fun together and with me. I got it to teach them about counting, adding and subtracting when they buy items from the store. I replaced the wood cash register that came with it with another register that I found on Sah Creatives that really works like a calculator. My 4 and 6 year olds are learning how to count currency and give exact change. The store came with a few fruits and vegetables. I ordered more canned items and food from Sah Creatives to fill the store. Mostly Melissa and Doug toys. I also purchased a Melissa and Doug shopping cart on Sah Creatives as well to make their grocery shopping and working experience more realistic. This toy is decently made and sturdy for a child’s toy. It is made of plywood but fairly thick. It doesn’t have any pieces that were rough that could cause injury or splinters. It took me about 45 minutes to put together while I was distracted multitasking and on the phone. The directions were pretty easy to follow. Make sure not to tighten all the screws until they all fit into place. All the holes lined up with no issues during assembly.I like the fact that when the kids are too old to play with this that you can either give it away if it’s in great shape or quickly take it apart and throw away the pieces. It’s not bulky plastic. The item was a decent price. I think it could be a little cheaper. I’ve compare other grocery stores and for the price, I liked this one the best.It was well packed and shipped fast. It was not damaged during delivery. The box was still in great shape when it got to me.

Love it- only one complaint
We love this grocery stand! The kiddos are obsessed with it and play with it all the time. Our only complaint is the conveyor belt. The board the belt is on is screwed into place with big plastic bolt and nuts. They work loose all the time so we’re always tightening them. I worry about losing one and my son putting it in his mouth. So we’re pretty careful but I wish it was assembled with regular screws. This set comes with so much. It’s a great bang for your buck. The fruits and veggies are soft and squishy but durable. We bought some wooden Melissa and Doug pantry items to go on the shelves with it and we’re thrilled. This set is a perfect way to engage the kiddos in play and to teach them as we play.

This was very hard to build! Instructions are a little confusing, and the toy itself isn’t as sturdy as it should be. For the price I would of thought this would of been better material. Had it since Christmas and there’s already been screws falling and the register broke in one fall.

Easy to put together. My son loves it
I got the play set for my 1.5 year old for Christmas and decided to put it together early. I was a bit nervous because I had seen reviews about the instructions being hard to put read, but ours was very easy to understand. Everything was clearly labeled and the instructions booklet have clear illustrations of where everything was supposed to go. With two people it took about an hour all together. I want sure how much my son would interact with it since he is so little, but he was obsessed with it right away. I would definitely recommend this play set!

Look at age requirements
Horrible instructions as noted by every person and I did not see that it was for younger kids. My grandson is 5. I hope it is okay. After my husband suffered for hours I do not have the heart to tell him it maybe too small!!

Super cute with bad assembly instructions
I’m not a professional, but as a seasoned single mom I’ve become efficient at putting together furniture and toys. This set up is darling and my girl was thrilled to have it in her 2nd birthday. It took me several hours with help. Instructions weren’t very clear and the hardware wasn’t labeled. Once it was together though . . . The cuteness factor is off the charts

Cute but small
This store is adorable but the space for kids to stand behind counter is really small, smaller than it looks in pictures. The instructions were terrible! Took a little over 2 hours to put together because you have to figure things out by the pictures. Cash register is a bit blah so we just bought a different register. Product arrived very quickly. One of the boards was slightly cracked but did not effect assembly. Only comes with one bag, should have had at least 2.

Super cute stand, instructions are sub par
After having much difficulty with the instruction manual, we got the stand set up and it’s very cute! The problem with the instructions are that the parts are not labeled and pictures of each part and step by step instructions leave much to be desired.. very difficult to follow. I wish they had someone YouTube them putting it together.. but we got through it and we love the end result.. our kids will love it!

My kids loved this
This took my husband a little over an hour to put together, it’s definetly for 1-3 year Olds, I read reviews before hand and it said it was on the smaller side we purchased for our 8 and 9 year old however and they love it. The fake vegetables and fruit that came with it are good rubber quality, not plastic definetly worth the money!

DONT BUY HARD TO ASSEMBLE
The headache of assembling it is not worth it trust me! Instructions were unclear and absolutely nothing to it. I tried looking for a YouTube video nothing on YouTube… If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’ve build a lot of toys and never had the same troubles as this. You cannot do this without a electric screwdriver my hands were aching using the small one that was included which would even help to put screws all the way in. Only complaint is assembling otherwise it’s not a product just not as big as I thought more preferable for ages under 5 i would say. If I knew I wouldn’t have purchased.

So cute but yes instructions would of been great
So cute, love this little set. My kids love it and I even play with it. BUT all the hilarious reviews are correct… you need a carpenter to put this together lol. Thank god my husband is handy, he cursed the wholeeee time but he got it together. Once you get past the god awful lack of/ no instructions you’ll have. Super cute play set.

Better deal than Melissa & Doug one
Absolutely adorable! My son is 3yrs old do this fits him perfect and the older ones play as the shoppers. I would recommend it for the toddler sizes cuz it is smaller than others. For the price AND accessories who can complain though. I did put 4 stars for sturdiness only because the pieces that connect the grocery scan belt to the other two pieces keeps coming loose. Nothing major it doesn’t fall apart, just have to tighten the bolts every now and then.

You’re on your own putting it together
The instructions are literally useless. They make zero sense and are not helpful.Only a handful of the pieces are even labeled. We are going off of the few pictures of the completed project- trying to work out what goes where. My husband is a master at putting things like this together & he was getting extremely irritated trying to do this.He called it a day & got out his electric screwdriver & did things himself.

Parts were not marked for ease in construction, but was very happy with finished product.
Without labels on the individual parts, you MUST look at a color picture of the item to put it together correctly. But, once put together it is very sturdy and our grandkids have had a blast playing with it.

Parts broke off almost immediately
It took me about an im hour to assemble by myself; I’m no master builder so it could easily have been done more quickly. I thought I had things tightened and secured well, but it took almost no effort on my son’s part to start pulling it apart. The wood just breaks with minimal effort, in hindsight I’m honestly shocked that it didn’t take damage in shipping. It was a cute little set up, we still have the little checkout drawer and the food, but the rest of it is sitting and waiting for our first bonfire of the summer. Very disappointing.

A bit disappointed
My granddaughters love playing with this; however, it looked like the box had been dropped because the top of the market board is damaged, but it doesn’t look like there’s any solution to correcting this without returning the whole thing. I would think for the cost of this item it would be more sturdy and durable. It’s a bit of a disappointment.

The Kids Love It!
Let me address the common complaint about it being hard to assemble. The instructions are 95% clear. There was a part or two where I went huh? But considering I was cracking some cold ones while putting this together, it was probably me more than the instructions. Fact is, if you have put together furniture before, you’ll have no problem. Call it about an hour, maybe more if you’re slow.Once it’s together, the thing is great, the kids love it.

Definitely recommend
When looking for the perfect play market I came across this one . I was scared it would be too small or too hard to build . My husband was able to build it with no issues . The size is perfect for our 2 year old . Our 8 year old could fit behind the counter also . I’m so happy with this market . Love how it comes with food , register with coins and card , shopping bag . Definitely recommend. The size is perfect for my living room .

Best pretend play gift!
Santa brought this for our girls this Christmas. They absolutely love it! It’s a great gift for imaginative play. They have spent hours playing store, shopping and then bringing groceries to their play kitchen to cook. I did a lot of research and this seemed to be the best quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Dear God this took forever for me to assemble
The instructions were sometimes a hit or miss, however, for some reason it took me forever. A lot of the holes on the product were not properly done. They wouldn’t point out certain ways you had to input certain pieces. Some of the fruit that arrived came damaged, there just wasn’t a lot. I would probably have gone with a different product- but there was NOOO way I was dismantling and then lugging this heavy box back. It is ok.

Worth every penny!
So glad I took the leap! I had my eyes set on a much more expensive market but went for this one due to finances and I couldn’t be happier. It’s sturdy, higher quality and I know it will last for years. My only con is that the instructions were hard to follow since there were no stickers to identify which pieces were which and it was hard to know what direction to install things.

Beautiful set, just bad instructions.
I was really impressed with the thoughtfulness of how the product came packaged. The individual prices were very protected. It is very sturdy and overall a really good set compare to others. The only problem, like most others had with it, was the assembly. I’m hoping to reach out to the company hoping they will do a tutorial video on how to build it. The instructions just weren’t very well done.

Very Sturdy and Well Made
I purchased this for my 3 yr old grandson’s birthday. I literally took his father 4 hours to put together. I was well made and very sturdy, but the directions were vague and there were too many pieces and steps to complete its construction. My grandson likes it and it will be a nice addition to his kitchen set. I would recommend it.

Hard to put together
Granted I waited till my little went to bed and smoked some weed thinking I would chill out and put it together. I got about 2/3 of completing the essembly, I was so proud of myself ….and I the realized I put 1 shelf together backwards ….and then there was no picture so I took that piece apart and out it back together to find out I put it together upside down… I took it apart again started to re assemble, I stated havimg some anxiety and finally said, No! I was confused thinking I put the entire thing together backwards but there is no picture I can’t keep guessing so I told my husband to put the last piece together and yep, still not put together. If there were actual real pictures of the product instead of black and white sketches it would have helped. My kid likes it, that’s all thatatters I guess.

Alcohol required during assembly
Product is very cute assembled and the kids love it. Assembly however is the worst! I felt like I was trying to solve the Da Vinci Code. I wanted to light the instructions on fire. They are absolutely useless. No peices are labled including screws. (I had to count screws to figure out which screw size was which as there’s no other way to tell) Illustrations in the instruction manuel do not match up with the instructions being given. Prepare to scratch your head and pull your hair. Alot of the peices do not look like the peices pictured in instructions. It’s like a giant puzzle game. Worst 3 hours of my life. If you buy this take screenshots of what it should look like. The box and instructions won’t have one and thats what I used after 2 hrs of frustration to finally figure out what peice was what.

Fun product
The grocery store is sturdy and a lot of fun for the kids. However if you don’t have play food, buy some. Do not count on the play food included in this. Every piece came broken. We could not use any of the play food that was included with the store.

Horrendous Assembly!
I waited till Christmas Eve to put this together. Had I read the reviews about the assembly I would have chosen a different product. Assembly took hours. I spent 30-45 minutes just laying out and trying to label the pieces. They don’t look like the images in the photo. After getting most of them labeled the assembly took another 2 1/2 hours. It doesn’t say in which order things should go. So it was a lot of putting parts together then taking it apart and reassembly. The product is sturdy and reminds me of the dramatic play toys at children’s museums. I’m a bit nervous about disposal as my little one will quickly outgrow. One part was also broken, the draw to the cash register. It wasn’t a huge deal. We will put some wood glue on it and call it a day. I also realized that two knobs were not put on and can’t figure out for the life of me where they go…oh well

My son LOVES it.It did take me 3 or so hours to build the damnn thing. And if I didn’t have anger issues before, I definitely do now because my gosh was this thing an absolute pain in the butt to build. I went through a half bottle of wine and listened to the backstreet boys to get me through it.But was worth it to see my sons reaction.Nice quality for the price!
