Shoe rack to Plant Stand
I’ve looked for awhile for a short mostly inconspicuous plant stand that would home some plants by a doubt patio door. This won out because of the wide spacing of the slats. I’ve left the second to bottom rack out. The plants are not heavy so it works great. So there are compromises for the value. You need to close the holes in the top. I used super glue on the middle dowels and it’s a solid bond. Assembly is great if you have a drill using their tool is not practical. Find a screw driver to fit the fasteners that are in the box. Put together in 10 mins I cut off the dowels I put in the top holes I’ll finish with a little dab of wood putty.. I also had some extra nail in furniture feet to finish the legs. A pretty nice unit plants look great and light filters through the slats easily.

Happy with it
I got this for my plants and though I’ve only had it for 1 day, I’m really happy with it. My friend had the same one and I got mine while Amazon had it on sale ($20). As other reviewers said, the build isn’t super sturdy. The shelf pieces come folded in half by hinges. I was worried they were going to snap while straightening them because it needed a bit of force while the wood made fragile noises. Anyway, it worked out fine. With weight and proper build it lays flat. I don’t plan to have excess weight on it so it worked well for my use and is very nice for the price. Assembly note: I did slide the shelf into the leg cutout prior to working the screws in, given what other reviewers mentioned about it breaking. It’s a tight fit and I was worried it might have splintered otherwise. Assembly is very simple.

Basic Bamboo Shoe Rack

Background: I have been scouting for a bamboo shoe rack for the past few weeks. I didn’t nneed anything fancy; after all, its just going to house my dirty shoes. Finally saw this one on sale for $20 and thought it seemed like a fair price for three levels.Unboxing and assembly: It came in three folded, hinged “panels” and six rods. There were 13 screws and 6 wooden pegs to join the single and double levels. It wasn’t very intuitive but the instructions were sufficient. It took me (a not very “handy” person) about 20 minutes to assemble. I did crack one of the panels, so be ware not to over-tighten the screws!Results: I can see why others have called it flimsy. The bamboo is on the thin side (around 1 cm thick). That said, it doesn’t wobble a lot when shaken (see video). The multiple layers (aka 1 single layer with a second double layer) seems weird. The joint between the two parts is noticeable (see pic). All that said, I wasn’t looking for anything more than a basic shoe rack and that’s what I got. I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for it. The less $, the better because it is very lightweight (although I wouldn’t use the word flimsy). If you looking for something robust, this isn’t the shoe rack for you.

Good in a pinch
I like that it is light but its very fragile unfortunately. I feel like im going to break it every time i move it but to its credit it can hold heavy shoes

Fairly easy to assemble. Not super sturdy, but it looks nice!
Holds my plants, books, shoes, and anything else I want. Isn’t super sturdy, but I don’t have anything super heavy anyways. It was easy to put together. Aesthetically pleasing overall. A little expensive, but whatever.

Good value for the price
I love what this has done to organize our house. We have enough shelves on the rack that our shoes all have a place. We did have to anchor it to the wall so the kids wouldn’t pull it over on top of themselves. But I would buy it again!

Meh quality, but overall pretty decent
I’m not mad at the overall product but the quality is subpar. It’s not super sturdy and I had to use wood glue in addition to the screws and wood sticks to keep it together. It isn’t bad for the price and I do like the size of it. Be wary of the bamboo splitting as well when putting it together.

This needs to be put together, Ut it is very easy.
I like the product. It’s perfect for small entry ways. Place where kids can put shoes. Owners can leave house slippers come in and switch outdoor footwear with indoor foot wear. It is light weight so no one should stand on it, but it is attractive and can sit near the door.

Was definitely more “fragile” than I was expecting. Only top level big enough for booties. As long as you are just using this for shoes/boots, it will do the trick. Definitely not sturdy for anything heavier than shoes eg potted plant.

Even for price, it’s incredibly poor quality.
Even for the price, it feels incredibly cheap in quality. It’s an okay shoe rack, I guess. But had I seen it on display, I would have never purchased it. It being light & flimsy per other reviews is not even the main concern. The base not being one piece and only being held together by wood inserts that didn’t all fit snuggly is extremely off-putting. You can use wood glue, but even then there is a distinct uncentered quality where the top tier meets the bottom. I didn’t return it, because it’s being used as an extra (out of the way) shoe rack, but had I intended to place it in a central location, I’d have returned it based on the cheap quality and appearance.

Worth it!
This did exactly what I had hoped! We usually would have a pile of shoes near the door and this really helped keep them organized and off the ground. Also super easy to assemble. Definitely worth the buy 🙂

Flimsy, bad craftsmanship, unbearable price
Negatives: you get a very weak rack made of uneven parts. Some connecting holes are bigger, even different wood. Don’t expect it to stand evenly without some weight on top of it.Pros: price! Also, bamboo in your household if you are a fan. Otherwise, go for metal ones.

Cute but not something you should be moving often
The only problem I had was with the sturdiness of the top rack because it was very easy to slide out while installing and moving it, but besides that, it fit in my closet perfectly. And the wood finish is a beautiful addition to my space 🙂

Cut down shoe clutter!
This shoe rack is perfect! We always have tons of shoes right at the front door and they are ALWAYS in the way. This rack fit the area I have to a tee and holds a great deal of shoes. Plus it’s stackable. I’m considering buying another set to add on or put separately in my closet.

Seemed cheap, but works well!
Seemed like a flimsy shoe rack, but once put together it holds up nicely. Holds all my size 13 shoes and three big cowboy boots on top of it. No complaints here
