Fun and sturdy
Bought this for my 4-y-old daughter who already has several sets of trains made of plastics (several Chuggington train sets, one old fashioned train set and one Chinese style train set). This is the first one that is made of wood. I like this material because it’s safe and feels light and sturdy. It can be placed on her little train table and area rug nicely. What’s even better is that the rail gauge and wheelbase is compatible with our Melissa&Doug vehicle and road rug play set. So that she has a larger set to play with. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Just buy it!
My three year old grandson loves trains. He already had a figure 8 wooden set. My daughter suggested some additional track for his birthday. This obviously isn’t one of the name brands, so I was concerned about quality and whether it would fit with his track he already has. Let me tell you, there is no need to worry. This track is the same quality as the name brand, and it fits perfectly with that. Plus, he loved all the additional buildings and other pieces. Great buy!

Child finger can get stuck in track
Child starting screaming while playing. He put his finger right into the finger-sized hole of the wooden track. His finger got stuck.Set had some fun pieces he enjoyed, but this grandma would not buy it again. Not after watching him scream helplessly until we were able to help release the track off his finger.

Happy autistic 5 year old.
My son is autistic and loves trains, we had a mitch match set of wooden trains and tracks but not the whole set. So he would get frustrated when they wouldn’t work out the way he wanted. The price for the amount was great, he got them for his birthday, and has them set up exactly like the picture on his train table. He loves it. Its perfect.

I’m not sure if this toy was purchased for our daughter or me, or other members in the family. Everybody loves it! My mom and my daughter design differen rail ways every couple days. The quality was good. We are considering getting another set to build more complex structures.

Perfect starter train set
We love this train set! There wasn’t any assembly directions, so we just used the picture on the box to figure out where the parts went and it was super easy to figure out. My son is 2 and plays with this train set everyday. It also comes with plenty of cars and trains to go on the tracks, and also fits our hobby lobby wooden toy cars and trains as well. It is the perfect starter train set for our 2 year old. You can also find ways to assembly the tracks without the housing and/ or bridge.

Missing piece and overall cheap quality
This is pretty janky. The pieces don’t really fit together well and there was one piece missing that made it impossible to fit it all together so we had to borrow pieces from different points to create a complete track. Also the trains don’t fit well on the track. My son doesn’t care but not worth $30+ I dont think.Edit: Upped from 2 to 4 stars. Company responded quickly and shipped additional train set to cover for the missing part and was pleasant to deal with.

Not bad for price but must have gotten a lemon
It’s a cute set! I think ours arrived with a faulty piece. If you look closely at the bridge/helicopter pad you will see the train piece had incorrect joints. My husband just used wood glue to make it work. Also, the fish and fishing pole magnets are not strong enough to actually “fish.” You can feel them try to connect but the pole is unable to lift any of the fish. My newly 2yo and 3yo love it though! Not bad for a small set. Which it didn’t have these issues.

Great set, but cars don’t roll well
My 2-year old LOVES this train set. I had one as a kid and loved it too. This one is basically the same. The one gripe I have is with the cars. They don’t have enough space between the wheels and the bottom of the cars, so instead of rolling on the wheels the whole time, it rubs wood to wood to push along the track (the wheels never touching the ground/wood), and therefore, it doesn’t stay on the track very easily. I think I’ll have to buy different cars from another seller.

My son loves it but came with wrong parts
My son loves this track and it would be perfect but the red bridge thing was supposed to come with two male ends (that’s what it shows on the directions) to fit on the helicopter landing building but it came with a male and female part so it doesn’t fit together correctly. Other than that, it’s very cute and my son loves it.

Not great
I was pretty disappointed in this. They advertise the manual has multiple track layouts, but it’s really only one sheet of paper (pictured) with the layout featured on the box. The track pieces don’t fit together flush, so it’s a rough ride with the train the wheels that are plastic. It details easily. Only the curved pieces are double sided, so it really limits the variations also one if the fish came split, exposing the tiny little button magnet (pictured). The set isn’t entirely wooden. There are plenty of plastic parts. Very meh set.

Mostly good quality for the price
My toddler enjoys building the tracks and it came with a lot of fun accessories. The magnetic fishing pole is her favorite. It comes with a suggested layout but we’ve built lots of interesting tracks together with this set. My one complaint is that it comes with 6 vehicles but only 3 of them are the magnetic train cars. And none of the vehicles ride on the track very well. I’m thinking of buying some more train cars from ikea or somewhere to replace these.
