sturdy luggage rack
Package with the components was pretty heavy which gave me a clue that this was a quality product. They were easy to put together and mount. The thickness of the metal square tubing was strong and easily supported the weight of the 2×6 boards for storage.

Lumber storage brackets
These items seem pretty heavy duty and will be used to store some misc lumber to keep it off the floor. Installation was pretty straightforward and the package contained all the proper materials to install in a variety of ways. I would highly recommend this item for anyone one that needs a little more storage to store wood up and out if the way. I highly recommend to install the brackets into studs and not the drywall if storing any heavy items .

Well built.
This is a review of the Lumber Storage Metal Rack Tigerden. Well made and solid. Easy to install (once I located the studs). Useful to store lumber in the shop.

Sturdy and Sleek
I found this sturdy rack system to be just what I needed to store kayak paddles, car roof rails, and other long items that were leaning against the walls in the corners of my garage for too long. The parts are cleanly welded and painted with a rugged finish. The Ikea-like assembly drawings are clear and “this side up and outward” labels make installation near foolproof. The arms swing down to cover the wall mounting bolts resulting in a clean, modern look that’s nice enough to use in almost any room of the house.

Sturdy for the price
These hang up pretty easily – once up they feel pretty solid and seem just as nice as my name-brand lumber racks that are 3x the price. I’m not sure I’d trust the 220lb per shelf limit, but I think that’s more due to just having only 3 screws per rack mounted into the stud. I’m sure if you installed it perfectly it could do that just fine, and mine still seem really strong and don’t wobble much at all.

Great rack!
This wood rack is easy to install (just bolt to the wall). It’s plenty sturdy to hold a good bit of lumber. It really helps to get the pile of wood off the floor.

Heavy, but that makes sense.
These lumber storage shelves are a lot heavier than you’d think, which is a good thing. These things are going to hold tons of lumber, and I’ve got no worries about them being able to do their job. If you want worry free lumber racks, grab these. You won’t regret it.

Simple, flexible, no-frills, no-nonsense utility shelving idea
I like this shelving idea because it is simple, sturdy, easy to install, and comes with all the necessary hardware to do so.The kit I ordered had two vertical posts and three horizontal legs for each post. The usable depth of each horizontal leg is about 38 cm, measured from the front surface of the vertical mounting post. Pretty wide, you can toss a lot of stuff on each leg.The ad states a max capacity of 220 lb per shelf, i.e. about 660 lb total. Imo this is probably conservative, given that all components are rectangular cross-section steel channel. The 220 lb figure may be based on the assumption of mounting into wall studs using the supplied plastic wall expansion anchors, in which case the pull-out force on those might be the limiting factor. But if you mount the verticals into concrete (as I’m doing) my guess is you could probably load them to considerably more than the advertised capacity. My use case is for pipes, tubing, lumber, dowels, and so on, in a workshop setting where the verticals will be fastened to a foundation wall using concrete anchors. But the piece parts, although just simple square cross-section channel, are not unattractive — decent looking matte black finish, with plastic inserts in the ends — and would not look terrible in a rec-room or garage either, for example for storing skis, fishing poles, etc. And since the verticals are independent units, you can you can size the installed spacing to fit your needs.Summary: Nice simple, flexible idea for shelving to accommodate “long stuff”, and the material quality and finish seems quite good. I’m happy with them.

These are good, but you’ll want more than 2.
No complaints here. Installation was straightforward. It took my son and I a leisurely 45 minutes to finish the first set, then another 30 for the second since we knew what we were doing by that point.8 steps for a successful installation: 1) Find studs, 2) Line everything up, 3) Mark holes, 4) Make sure it’s level, 5) Pre-drill holes, 6) Screw upright bars onto walls, 7) Install arms, 8) Add Wood.To drill the pilot holes, we used a tapered #8 (11/64″) drill bit (with a DrillBlock guide), which fit the screws perfectly; they went in nice and snug, no creaking or cracking. In regards to spacing, the manufacturer recommends at least 4-5′ between racks. However, that felt wide for 2″x4″x6’s and 2″4″8’s, so we attached to every stud along the run and are happy with the result. The manufacturer also says you can load 220lbs onto each tier, but I wouldn’t hazard an attempt at that on drywall or stud if you only have 2 racks. Maaaybe if you’re mounting to stone, but even then I’d add another rack or 2 if that’s the load you’re bearing. In all we’re glad to have picked these up. Would recommend to the budding woodworker or enthusiast, but maybe grab an additional set if you’re stored 8′ – 12′ lengths of lumber. We ourselves started with 2 but went back and bought another set of 4 to play it safe.

Great for their intended use
This is a great set as long as you use them for their intended purpose. What I mean by that is they work well for storing quite a few boards-just don’t plan to store hundreds of pounds on them. I have many extra 8′ 2×4’s and many other various lengths of boards that I just can’t get rid of (I may use them someday….). This rack is perfect to get them organized and keep my boards out of the way. With the four pack, I have two set 5′ apart and two set at 3′ apart. This setup works for me to store and organize my 8’ers and shorter lengths. Install was super simple, predrill holes and screw on. For brackets themselves, when you are attaching them just be sure to not over tighten the locking nuts. If the bracket isn’t needed, it can be folded up and out of the way. Overall a good set to keep things clean and organized. I hope this was helpful.

Very nice quality
Nice and heavy duty, easy to put up. The only complaint I have is the rungs are too close together. But, then again, you can’t put too much wood on it making it easier to sort through your stock. They were easy to assemble, and include the tools needed to assemble and just a drill to install on the wall. Tools are small, you may want to use your own. Definitely a better value than those name brand racks. Can’t wait to load them up.

A great way to clean up the garage whether it’s to hang ladders or leftover lumber pieces or your patio umbrellas when the season is over. These are a great help. Well constructed solid material built to last I’m pleased with the purchase and no they will make a world of difference once installed Package arrives in short order with instructions I was not disappointed.

Simple installation, plenty of strength, fantastic value
I installed this set over the weekend to help organize a pile of limber that had been taking up floor space for too long. I had been considering building something myself, but when I looked at the cost of individual materials, and personal time that I didn’t have, I was amazed to see that these racks looked better than anything I would have build myself, and were in use in a fraction of the time I would have needed. The material is plenty strong for the size and depth of the shelves. Installation is very simple. Mounting bolts are included for both direct stud and scenarios requiring an anchor. Unless you have only short boards, I recommend buying the 4-pack, AND a 2-pack to allow for longer spans to be supported in the middle.

Heavy duty lumber storage.
These lumber storage racks are verified heavy duty. I have almost all of my large stock on them. They are mounted directly onto the studs per instructions. Installation was simple. The hardware included are some serious lag screws and some nylon lock nuts and through bolts. I would recommend pre drilling as not to split the stud. I really like the ability to fold the arms up when not in use.Overall, these are some great lumber racks. I highly recommend.

Easy to install and holds a good load
I placed these in my storage container for excess lumber storage and filled each level with an assortment of 2×4 , 2×6, and 2×8 lumber. This allows the boards to be kept organized off the floor and easy to access location. One problem I’ve seen and it’s fixed by placing the racks closer together, if you place them too far apart the lumber may tend to bow. I used two sets and added some supports in the middle to keep that from happening.

Easy to install. Admittedly, I installed this in my crawl space directly to the studs so I didn’t need a stud finder. These hold more than you would think. I loaded them til they were full and they haven’t budged.

Great design
I already have a set of this type of lumber rack from another manufacturer and I really like the design, I tried looking up that rack in My Orders but the item is no longer available so I don’t remember what I paid for it for comparison. I think it was about the same as this set, $25, which I think is a good value for what these do. They are really easy to install and can hold a lot of weight, (granted you have it secured either to solid wood or use the very good anchors provided). Not much else to say other than if you don’t want to splurge for $25 you can always screw some 2x4s together and make a holder but for me this is the way to go.

Lumber using DIYers probably need these
I am currently doing quite a few outdoor projects so I’m using a lot of pressure treated lumber. If the wood is still wet, they can stink up a small shed and won’t absorb stain until they’re dry enough. That’s why these racks were perfect for what I needed. I hung them on the outside of my shed. It’s been a little over 2 months and there’s not even a hint of rust so far. I did take the precaution of oiling all the folding parts but I can’t take all the credit. The racks are coated well enough that even after a bit of rough work I haven’t seen any scratches at all. The way the arms swing down to cover the wall mounting bolts keep them out of the way between loads and keep the rain off of the screws to protect the shed. The super simple “how to assemble” illustrations and the labels showing the direction to hang them are great for a novice.I did upgrade the screws and hung on studs since the racks are out where it might be dangerous if anything fell. And that’s the only thing I didn’t like about these so far. The flat arms are great for loading and unloading lumber but it also allows for them potentially slipping off.I don’t think simple drywall anchors will be the best way to secure the racks if you’re going to be storing a heavy load for a long period. Toggle anchors might be better if you absolutely can not attach them to studs. After having them for the last few projects I realized that I actually need more of them.Just 2 racks is fine for drying out a few boards or keeping everything together for a short time but if it’s to keep a stockpile for very long, you’ll need a rack every 2 feet at least to avoid any sagging or warping.Overall, I would say that the Tigerden Lumber Storage Metal Rack is a pretty safe purchase. It works as advertised and it’s worth the money.

Decent Lumber Rack
This lumber rack is pretty straightforward to put together, and very sturdy once assembled. It’s doing a great job storing the scrap lumber and trim in my garage.I do have a couple of minor issues with it, however. Once assembled, the support bars of the rack are at a slightly larger than 90 degree angle to the mounting bars (see my pic), which means they’ll be angled slightly downward if the mounting bar is perfectly vertical. This could be problematic if you’re storing round stock or pipe. I didn’t have any issues with lumber storage.Included in the kit is a large number of small plastic washers, but they aren’t mentioned anywhere in the installation instructions. I believe they are supposed to go on both sides of the support bar tabs, but it was a little difficult to get them aligned in between the tabs and the mounting bar when assembling each support.

Perfect for lumber storage
This will work well for lumber storage or just a general shelf. I’m a little concerned with the thickness of the metal. The pivot point was slightly bent, due to shipment, and I was able to bend it back by hand. Hopefully this won’t be an issue. Since the weight is being applied on the full hinge plate, this shouldn’t be an issue. But, if you push from the side, it will bend. I do like that these will move out of the way if not needed.

Heavy duty and durable…
I got this lumber storage metal rack to store my lumber for my new carpentry workshop. It is a great product, extremely heavy duty, and sturdy. It can hold up to 110 lbs per level, which is more than enough for my needs. It is also easy to install, coming with all the hardware and instructions. It took me about 20 minutes to mount it on the wall. It has a 3-level design that allows me to organize my lumber by size and type. It also folds up easily and securely when not in use, which saves space and prevents accidents. It is the perfect form for storing lumber. It doesn’t take up too much room and it keeps the lumber dry and accessible.

Pretty good solution
This goes together pretty easily. I would highly advise that you secure the bolts to the studs instead of using the drywall anchors. If you’re using this for lumber storage, then I would not trust a drywall anchor… Just saying.Otherwise, this is basically the same as any other lumber rack, although this is actually a really good deal for a 4-pack at right under $40 USD.Also, another side note, if you’re storing lumber, you want the 4-pack. Any lumber should have support every 16 to 18 inches to avoid any sagging or warping from storing it horizontally. You can push that gap to 36 inches if you’re feeling lucky, but I like to make sure everything stays good, considering the price of lumber.

Simple effective storage solution
I am always looking to organize and make the best use of space in my garage. I had a pile of leftover material that was taking up space on the second floor that I had moved several times already and need a better way to store it. This storage rack set was the perfect solution, simple yet effective. It was very easy to install and only took me less than 30 mins to install and fill with material. It’s surprisingly sturdy once installed and I may purchase a second set for my tube steel cut offs? I like that when the rack is empty that the support arms can fold up out of the way. The kit comes with all the hardware needed to install as well as an Allen wrench and sheet metal wrench to tighten the nuts and bolts that are supplied. Definitely a worthwhile product at a very reasonable price.

Seems to be strong enough
Got this Lumber rack to keep wood off my floor, and possibly having termites get into my building. Was a little skeptical because wasn’t sure that this thing could hold the weight that it claimed it could. But I put four by sixes and 4x4s and 2x6s and 2x4s and it seems to hold it very well. I only use two of the hooks instead of three because of the 4x6s that I’m using was afraid there wasn’t much room to squeeze them in. Was easy to install – came with all Hardware to install. I may put the third Rack now that I see that there is enough room to get the 4x6s in. But for now pretty happy with it.

Pretty Solid Construction
These will be going up in my garage and I’m looking forward to mounting them and using them. The construction is really quite good and hanging them in my unfinished garage will be very straightforward. As long as you mark and predrill the holes for the screws you won’t strip them while screwing them in.Fit and finish on these was surprisingly good, so if you have an idea to use them differently in your home, you won’t be disappointed by how they look.

I saw a few reviews that said the included screws weren’t good but that wasn’t my experience. Maybe the seller/manufacturer is using better screws as of July 2023 but the included screws worked great for me and the shelves are holding a significant amount of lumber.

Great for organizing trim
These lumber storage racks are great for storing trim or 1xs/2xs. They are super heavy duty and can hold some real weight. With two sets you can store a lot of lumber and get it up and out of the way and makes it easier on your back so you don’t have to bend over to fine what you need. I highly recommend these for anybody that works with wood.

mostly good
First off these are legitimately a good value. I have several other lumber racks around the shop, mostly Bora, and while these do not seem as robust for off cuts its looking to be more than good enough. For my use case these will be 32 inches apart and be used for remnants or cutoffs between 32 and 48 inchesThe included hardware is good, more than sufficient for the task and the anchors are great for concrete and for in stud use you can just drill into wood then use the included lag bolts.I only have 2 complaints. First is that they are canted incorrectly. most of my other racks have about a 2 degree off square angle towards the ceiling. These have a 2 degree off 90 towards the floor. If you hoped to use these for piping then look elsewhere. If you plan to use these for large heavy boards again look elsewhere, For offcuts of already dried wood though, this is not a problem. For my use I will be adding fender washers to bring it up to a good 2 degrees upwards so that things properly roll into the wall and do not slide off over time. The second complaint is it comes with lots of washers but no instructions on where they are meant to be. They are with the anchors, so are they meant to shim this up to a more proper angle fixing the first problem? maybe but it does not say in the directions and I do not trust the thin plastic washers for that. Likely they are for the arm bolts to protect the finish and prevent rust if scratched , but again nothing in the instructions there as of this time.I do think they are worth getting for the price, just keep in mind the limitations.

You really need more than 2
I built a storage rack from 2×4 which work fine. I needed another rack on the adjacent wall and devices to try this. MUCH easier to install and use than mine! I’m only supporting pieces up to 6 feet. I spaced these 3 feet apart to keep molding from sagging over time. If you are storing anything longer, you’ll need 4 of these spaced about the same.Easy to install and use. I have no concerns about the strength either as i was able to hang on the brackets without any deflection.

Let’s hope it holds 200 pounds.
I don’t know about the seller’s claim for these to hold 200 pounds. Tubing looks very thin. I’m not sure if I should believe it. These brackets come completely disassembled, so you can choose if you need the middle shelf or not. Screws/bolts included are too short [2.5″] There is no manual how to put it together, small piece of paper doesnt show you much. I made a small ‘booboo’ and installed it the wrong way. It’s a little bit tricky to figure out without knowing how it’s supposed to go. I had to go on SAH Creatives website to check the pictures. Positive part is that you can put shelves up to 16 to 18 inches in depth. I will see how they do with time and update the review

Sturdy enough for most needs..
Design and construction is adequate for most homeowner needs. You can use this for lumber, ladders, or to put a board on and use it as a shelf. It would be nice if this was somehow adjustable to make a slight upward angle to hold pipes (which tend to roll off). This would seem like a pretty good value for the money. You’d be hard pressed to build this yourself for any less.

very sturdy
This was pretty easy to install, and it is very sturdy. We don’t have it storing at capacity, but i have no doubt it’ll hold as much weight as indicated. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if it had something to keep the wood from slipping off easily, maybe anti-skid texture or something. As we were loading the bottom pieces slid around fairly easily when adding to the stack.

No-frills brackets (see details). Recommended
For a while after moving across the country, I managed to keep from accumulating building materials. However, at some point it just started again. Moulding, trim, and 2x4s, just to name some. That’s why I got the Tigerden Lumber Storage Metal Rack, 3-Level (4 Pack). The brackets are fine, though I think it would be better if there was an optional lip that could be attached to the ends of the bars (especially since they tout this as a system that can store pipes, too). I’m not impressed, or disappointed, and instead find the value to be roughly in-line with the $10 per bracket price. I think it should go without saying, but be sure to attach these to masonry or studs if you plan on lading these with any type of significant weight. Recommended

Easy installation
It was made from high-quality steel, ensuring its longevity and durability. The robust construction gives me confidence that this rack can handle heavy loads without any issues. One of the standout features of this metal rack is its impressive weight capacity, supporting up to 350 lbs per level. This generous weight limit allows me to store various materials and equipment without worrying about overloading the rack. Additionally, the rustproof coating gives me peace of mind, knowing that the rack will maintain its pristine appearance and functionality over time, even in damp or humid environments. The assembly process was a breeze, thanks to the inclusion of all necessary parts and comprehensive instructions. I didn’t encounter any challenges while setting it up, and within a short time, the rack was ready for use. The hassle-free assembly is a significant advantage, especially for those who prefer quick and efficient setup. One of the standout attributes of this storage metal rack is its versatility. Its wide range of uses makes it a valuable addition to any workspace or storage area. Being adjustable in height allows me to customize the rack to accommodate materials of varying sizes. This flexibility is crucial for organizing different items efficiently, whether it’s lumber, tools, or other supplies.

Simple, easy installation, sturdy design
While working on a wood project I tend to have quiet a bit of material on hand. Afterwards I usually have a few bits left over that I hang onto for odd ball future projects. Both of these storage situations clog the primary pathway through our garage since the door to my workshop is right there and workroom is located on the other side of that wall. And especially when projects get delayed by other priorities this becomes a serious family issue. My solution is to create a storage space to hold these items – for however short or long a period – in a nearby location, but out of the primary pathway. It turns out that this is in the attic space over the garage – not the most convenient, but better than clogging the pathway that everybody uses several times each day.And these storage racks supply the perfect way to keep those materials safely stored and organized. They are easy to install using the included screws. Their square tubular design is sturdy, yet lightweight. And with 3 “shelves” they provide a lot of storage space. Their simple, clean design even makes them suitable for more public locations. Best of all the garage pathway is now free of these materials restricting traffic flow.
