Super cute and durable
This book shelf was super easy to put together. The directions were very helpful and clear. The drawer is super smooth opening and closing. It also is extremely sturdy even with trying to get it to move it doesn’t budge. Definitely recommend

This shelf came together fairly easily and looks great. It wasn’t quite as big as I’d envisioned based on photos ，but it holds a ton of books and toys. It turned our disastrous toy corner into an organize，aesthetically pleasing space in our living room. Quality is decent and hoping it lasts/holds up to bumps and dings for the next few years.

Easy to put together
This kid’s bookshelf is cute! It was easy to assemble and the instructions weren’t hard to follow. It is sturdy for kid’s furniture. We are using it for toy storage with little baskets. The drawer at the bottom is a nice touch and gives additional storage. It’s small— but very accessible for kids. We are using it in my daughter’s playroom and it is working well for us!

Pleased
This bookshelf arrives in one heavy box that is easy to open and start assembling. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow except for that the screw to hold the drawer onto the glider needs to have the head on the inside of the drawer in order for the drawer to close fully. This looks great. It arrived in very good condition. It functions well. We are enjoying this bookshelf.

Nice quality Children’s Bookshelf | About 1hr Build time
This UTEX Kids Bookshelf arrived quickly and looks as shown in the product images once built. Came with all of the necessary pieces, which seem to be of nice quality; all of which were safely covered during transit. There are quite a few pieces and it does take about an hour to assemble if doing it solo. The height is fantastic for my needs (my littles are 9, and 6) and it’s fit all of their books nice and neatly. I had a few big rose decals that I placed on the front drawer and sides to add a bit of design and blend it into their room decor. Overall I really like it and thus far have no complaints to note. Would recommend to anyone considering.

Great shelf, but sort of wobbly
This bookshelf is great – it arrived without any damages and each plank was wrapped and protected perfectly. All of the screws and parts were labeled correctly.I assembled this by myself in about an hour, and all you need is a Philips screwdriver. It looks exactly as pictured, and I love the drawer on the bottom that allow you to keep some stuff out of sight.However – once assembled, the whole shelf is a little wobbly. I’ve gone back and checked that all were tightened correctly and it stands perfectly. It still wiggles a bit back and forth from left to right, and that leaves a bit to be desired. It doesn’t give me full confidence that it won’t fall apart on my child given how rough some little kids can be. While it comes with a wall anchor kit, the safety of this shelf – from its ability to sway and potentially come apart – knocks it down a couple of stars though.

Got it for the kids room but so pretty it is in our living room
I intially got this for my boys room to hold their books but I loved it so much I put it in our living room. It took a little bit to put together and my power drill definitely made it easier to assemble but highly recommend. I had some storage bins that I put the kids toys in that fit perfectly and used the drawer for diapers and wipes. I love love love this. It would have been great on my kids room but is such a beautiful way to store their toys and diapers in our family room.

Very sturdy, takes awhile to assemble
Cute kids bookshelf. Very sturdy. Drawer also is very sturdy. Has very detailed instructions, and just about every part was labeled. Has a Great Wall anchor to prevent tipping onto kids. The only negative was how long this took to put together (and 2-3 parts weren’t labeled). But I would definitely recommend. The drawer is decently spacious for small toys, and it has a very modern and simplistic look (though we are going to be painting it). And it’s short enough for toddlers to reach things on all of the shelves.

Assembly by myself. Good looks. Good materials.
I am happy with this product.It’s a step up to Ikea but it is not a Crate and Barrel.So the price is fair.Just be aware that when assembling if you screw too much you can crack the mdf.It also a problem if you need to reassemble something due a mistake.The size is good for toddler access. Bit does not fit the largest kids books. That a bummer since that was the goal for this furniture.The design neutral enough to go with different styles.I love specially the feet.

Compact Kid’s Bookcase
This is a compact kid’s bookcase with two bookcase shelves and a drawer. The bookcase is constructed of wood materials. The bookcase includes instructions to assemble it. The instructions are easy to follow and it is not too difficult to put the bookcase together. For a child’s bookcase, it is pretty sturdy. The drawer slides in and out seamlessly. I would recommend this bookcase as opposed to other kid’s bookshelves that you find at the box stores.

Disappointed With Product
My husband opened the box today for the bookshelf to start assembling and immediately noticed there were multiple cracks on the shelves before he even began putting it together. This is not an inexpensive piece so it should not arrive cracked. Very disappointed.

CHEMICAL SMELL- not safe!
I really wanted to love this bookshelf. Arrived today and I was so excited to put it together for my babies’ nursery. I began assembling and after 30 minutes or so, the chemical smell had worsened. I had a headache and my throat felt scratchy from breathing in the offgassing chemicals. My babies were in the room with me while I assembled and I am now worried about them breathing it in during that time period. We immediately reboxed and returned this item. Please do not buy this- There is NO WAY that this is safe for a child’s room. SAH Creativesneeds to have this product removed.

Strong Chemical Smell

Chemical smell
BUYER BEWARE! I was so excited for this bookshelf and drawer for my child’s room. Put it together two days ago. This morning I walked in, and my child’s room had a horrible chemical smell. Not sure if this is a recent manufacturer change because the chemical smells have all been more recent reviews (I purchased in January but didn’t put together until recently). There is no warning anywhere on the box or instructions about this smell. Now I am worried that I caused harm to my child since they sleep in their room with the door closed.

Heavy Formaldehyde Odor and Flimsy Pieces
You can smell the formaldehyde before you even open the box— you’d think you’re in an anatomy dissection lab, opening up a jar full of formaldehyde solution to preserve an organ. Sure enough, there is a label warning about formaldehyde, a known carcinogen. On top of that, the legs appeared to be glued together with very visible gaps. The board pieces for the drawer alone are very thin and flimsy, so these definitely would not hold up, especially if a child is using it. I returned it immediately upon receiving it. The chemical odor was really way too heavy. I had to clean the room in which I tried to set it up because the odor lingered.

Not study feeling
Followed all the instructions but this itemIs not sturdy. I bought and put together a dresser, crib and changing table – all Delta- and it was all very sturdy. This piece however is wobbly.

Toxic
The smell coming off this is toxic and will not go away even after several months. This should not be allowed to be sold. Too late for a refund, really upsetting.
