A lovely wooden tool kit but could do with more bits
First impressions of this were great, my daughter (2.5 years old) was really excited to see it and get it out the box to play with. It came nicely packaged with tissue paper round most of the bits so would be nice to give as a present. The quality of the pieces is great, the wood is all sanded really smoothly and painted well. The little tool box itself is ideal to store all the bits in and has a cute clock on the side which you can move the hands of, although it only shows numbers 12, 3, 6 and 9 which is a bit of an oversight when little ones are still learning to tell the time. We’ve enjoyed playing with it so far but it’s a shame there isn’t more pieces that come with it. There’s only 3 cubes and two nuts with screw threads in so it’s very limiting to how much you can build with it. I would have ideally thought at least 3 times that would be the minimum to be able to have a long play and build something with it. With this in mind I’ve knocked off a star as just when they’ve started to build something the pieces have run out. Other than that I think it’s great.

Nice little set
A nice little toy set. I really like the look and feel of wooden toys. The description says it’s a 34 piece set, ours had 32 pieces inside including the tool box and the side of the packaging box shows 32 pieces. The tool box is quite sturdy and a good size. The pieces are all a good thickness and each has been painted. On some pieces there are paint chips even though they were wrapped in tissue paper. The screws on the tool box are embedded so they arent sticking out or catching. On the screwdriver, screws and tool box, there is quite alot of glue spilling out and is quite visible. The wood everywhere is smooth with no rough edges anywhere. You can screw and put together the pieces. The screws goes through the wood pieces well, like a perfect fit. It is a really lovely set, just the little niggles of the paint chips and excess glue, but a child wouldn’t really notice this.

Construction tool box
This tool box and its components are a good size for infants to handle. There is plenty for children to play and experiment with. Our 4 year old is enjoying using it. Strong and mostly well made. I would like the corners of the side plates to be rounded off more, for added safety.

Wooden Toy Tool Kit
Our eldest grandson loves helping granddad when he’s doing any repair work inside or out in the garden. Now he can carry his own little toolbox and help, rather than struggling with granddad’s tools. It’s very good and fun to watch him mirroring what granddad is doing. The tools can be wiped clean if they do get dirty. It’s not too heavy, even when fill, for little hands to carry

Very cute
I just love wooden toys for children and this is very cute! It’s really well made and good quality. Doesn’t feel flimsy at all. My daughter is 3 and I wasn’t sure she would be a bit old for it but she loves it. Really good value for money too.

Quality Tool Kit Ideal for Young Engineers!
As a Nursery Practitioner with over 15 years experience, I really love the recent revival of wooden toys. Plastic has it’s place and obviously it is definitely worth allowing children to explore items made from a variety of materials, but wooden toys have such a classic, timeless feel to them. This set of construction tools is simply lovely – The tool box is just the right size and weight for little hands to carry, and the shapes, nuts and bolts are really great for little engineers to explore. The set also contains a small wooden screwdriver, wrench and ruler. The nuts and bolts are ideal for encouraging fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. I took this set in to my Nursery Play Room and the 3 year olds I work with loved it – They like to transport the equipment around in the caddy box, and spend ages slotting the screws in to the holes in the wooden planks. The caddy box is decorated each end – one side has the shape of cogs on and the other has a clock with moveable hands. The colours are really nice and subdued, and the whole set has a quality feel. This set is recommended for children aged 3+ but younger children would love this if supervised. This would make an ideal gift and really encourages cognitive thinking and fine motor skills – As well as imaginative role play.

The Honest Mum Reviews –
My almost 3 year old daughter loves this set. Very well made and high quality.
This Toywoo wooden tool toybox arrived and I had to try this with my almost 3 year old daughter. The toy was delivered promptly and I was surprised to see how detailed the packaging for the toy was (immediately I knew I’d be happy to both give and receive this as a gift). The packaging is brightly coloured, detailed and tells me everything I need to know about the toy inside, including that it is suitable for ages 3 plus mostly due to the small parts. The toy is well wrapped inside the box, with all the separate pieces inside their own box. There is nothing to build and no set up required; I simply got this out of the box, got rid of the packaging and gave to my daughter which takes less than a minute. Having spent time playing with the toy with my daughter, I can say the toy and all its parts are very well constructed and made of high quality materials. As mentioned, my daughter is almost 3 and at first found some difficulty with the smaller pieces but these are great for developing any fine motor skills. She is happy to play with this set and I am happy that this toy is aimed at both girls and boys.Overall, a fantastic quality wooden toy that is well made and durable. Highly recommended and definitely continuing to use.

Wooden tool kit with construction puzzles
I love wooden toys for children so was pleased to receive this wooden tool box set recommended for age 3 and above. The toolbox is a really good size for small children not being too big but not too small either. It is sturdy and robust, decorated with images and a manual (non-working) clock at one end; the latter is really good idea as you can manually set the time to help a young child learn to read a clock and what each arm of the dial means.Inside the tool box are about 31 pieces including a screwdriver and a spanner and screws/nuts to use with the other pieces to create simple wooden constructions and puzzles. This set is good for colour identification (as the pieces are often different colours), hand to eye co-ordination (with using the tools and constructing) and logical thinking (working out how to construct something). The set costs £16.99 which seems a really fair price for this wooden toy. I am pleased with this product and I am happy to recommend.

A Wonderful Product For The Inagination
I much prefer wooden toys over anything plastic as there is something about them, how well they are made and the thought of passing down through generations that brings some nostalgia. This little tool box is exceptionally well made. Solid in construction, nicely polished and no sharp edges. I love the face that some parts are painted to make them extra colourful and interesting to any child. Suitable for 3 years plus (36 months), this us a toy for any child no matter what sex they are. I know if this was around when I was a child in the 70’s I would have just loved it. Very much a tomboy, I loved anything creative that explored the imagination and would often gravitate to such items. This is like a toddlers meccano set and I hope the manufacturers explore this further than just one toy.

Exceptional quality at this price
I’ve seen a lot of wooden toys lately and this is one of the best quality sets I’ve seen and the price is low. The craftsmanship is excellent and everything is wood, with the exception of the screws holding the carry box together. The tools can be used to create items with the parts and the nuts and bolts all work. The box is easy for toddlers to carry around and there’s also a clock with moving hands on the side. It’s all beautifully made and with bright appealing colours and should be durable enough to pass on to other children. This has been built to last and the carry box is likely to be used for carrying many other things before a child tires of it, even then it could be used to store items. My great-nephew already loves his little tool set and loves to carry it around the house, he puts his snacks in with the tools!

Really lovely
Really lovely little wooden toy tool set. Very nice quality and well made, the painted finishes are good too. Ideal for toddler (age 3+ For safety) imaginitive play and fine motor skill development, I have previously bought similar tool sets, but there are more parts in this one and I especially like the little carrying case which everything fits neatly into. Very pleased with this set and the current price of £16.99 (at the time of review) is acceptable value for this type of wooden playset.

Great toy
I have a friend who only buys his children wooden toys, so when I saw this toy I didn’t have any doubts. It comes very well packaged, so that all the wooden pieces arrive in perfect condition. Each kit of parts comes wrapped in paper and then all the kits come in a cardboard box that is shipped inside the tool basket. It is very well designed and manufactured. The tool basket is really nice, it has a lot of details and it is a perfect size. And as for the pieces to play with, it comes with everything! All you have to do is let your imagination run wild and have fun. Your children are having so much fun. I can’t wait to go to their house so I can continue playing with this kit!

Great toy
I really like this set. Our toddler is too young to fully get the hang of this, but she still enjoys picking everything up, examining it and putting it back in. She loves tools so this will be of a lot of use next year. It’s very well made and you can make so many different shapes with it. It can help toddlers or children use their imagination, creativity and fine motor skills. Great toy. Comes in a tool box that is used to store all the bits. I recommend it for 3 years plus.

Excellent for kids
My 4 year old absolutely loves anything to do with tools especially screw drivers and hammers. He already has a mini tool set made from plastic which he loves to play with and has learned so much through play about the concept of tork, how screws fit to gether, how nuts and bolts hold objects together etc so this tool box with included tools is just what he needs as he’s about to start primary school. Everything came well packed and is very niceley made so highly recommended.

AMAZING TOY, hours of fun. Buy two!
My boy loves this toy so much that we got two of them because you can’t really build so many different things with just one set. I put aside the extra tool box and actual tools in case any of those things ever break, and just gave him the extra nuts and bolts and connectors, but the whole thing is really sturdy. We have built a bow and arrow using sticks and rubber bands and lots of other fun things if you add some extra items like rubber bands, sticks, etc. He wanted to make a tread out of his purple cup holder so we built something to hold his “tread”. The clock on one side doesn’t have all the numbers on it so I jsut wrote the rest of the numbers on it with a marker so he can also practice telling the time. It’s a nice bonus learning tool on the side of the tool box. If I were the manufacturers, I would add all the numbers on to the clock since the clock has moving hands so the children who are in the proper age range for the toy can also get some use out of the clock. For us, two sets really equaled twice the hours of fun!

Love the Quality, Needs More Nuts and Bolts
This toolbox has great quality for the tools and parts, and I love that we can build a few specific objects, like the “firetruck.” The only problem is it doesn’t have enough nuts and bolts to build more than one object at a time. I’d love to be able to get extra nuts and bolts without needing to buy a giant toolbench set or something.

Hours of entertainment!
My toddler absolutely loves this wooden toolbox. It keeps entertained and he can actually screw the screws into the bolts with his tools. It teaches him coordination and he likes to carry it around the house and pretend to have projects! He also likes to mimic dad when dad is using his real tools. He loves all the little pieces that seem very well made.

A must buy to create and be just like dad!
The media could not be loaded.
I purchased this wooden toolbox set for my two and a half year old son. He loves to play with toys that make him think. He also loves to “help” dad around the house. This toy will do just that. He has his own toolbox to follow dad around with. He can twist the screws and bolts together to create. This toy is absolutely adorable!!! It is sturdy and very well made. The colors are so bright. I would absolutely recommend this to friends and I would buy from this company again! If you have a creative little one, BUY THIS! Is is so so so fun to play and imagine with.

Beautifully painted
I like wooden & natural materials for children’s toys & avoid plastics & synthetics for not harming their delicate skin with toxics. This type of toy is usually aimed at 3 years & up.I’ve tried several wooden toys & some are badly painted & look poor. But this one is very nicely made, strong, & has a deep painted lovely colours.Within the set is all kinds of told, nuts & bolts for imaginative play & creativity.Keeps children occupied to copy their fathers

Lovely wooden toy.
A lovely wooden toy for a 3-6 year old: The toolbox has attractive graphics and a learning clock on one side, and in it there are various tools and meccano-style nuts, bolts, and strips, also wooden, that one can make into little toys. It’s an excellent role-play toy and an excellent motor skills toy too, plus the choice of pastel colours make it suitable for display in a child’s bedroom. Excellent value.

Great set that seems simple but can create so many little things. Perfect for any child that doesn’t put small parts in their mouth. All the pieces are great quality and look really nice. Good value for money considering it’s all wooden. Overall very happy with this and it’s lot of fun for any child.

Fab!
We really liked the set. Inside the toolbox are 30 pieces made up of a variety of tools and a variety of things like screws and boards to screw them into. The fact that everything is made out of wood is really charming and has that classic quality feel to it. On the end of one of the sides of the toolbox has a movable clock which is a nice touch. The size and weight of everything that’s about right with it not been too heavy that the toolbox can’t be moved by the youngster. This set promotes so many different things ranging from fine motor skills to coordination and logic. At around £15 it’s also good value for money.
