Learning curve on the instructions
My cable box had a blue display for the time, which I absolutely loved. I finally ditched cable, but still wanted a blue light clock. This one is perfect! The “wood” looks quite authentic, and the display could not be better. Only issue so far is that today we had to change the time – I’ve had the clock set up to display the time only. Since I cannot find the instructions, I somehow got it to show the temperature and date also. The temperature was in celsius, and I would need farenheit. Kept fiddling with the clock, and literally accidentally got it back to displaying only the time, so I am again quite pleased with the clock. I’d like to get another copy of the instructions, though.
Customer –
defective after 3 months of use. It would stop displaying the time and just display a single digit.
Would like a replacement.

Simple, nice design, not complicated to use
The display cycles through time, date, and indoor temperature. It didn’t take long for me to set up the time, date, and my preferences. I am trying it out with the display activation set to turn on with sound or touch, and I like this setting fine. I needed a clock in my small bathroom for when I’m getting ready for work in the morning. As long as I’m in there making any noise at all, the display is on, so that setting is working for me. It is not obtrusive, doesn’t take up much space, and the faux wood body looks very nice. I wanted a clock that was not busy looking with distracting features. I like things that have a simple design, yet are functional and this clock meets that criteria.

One annoying feature ruins this clock
The clock is almost perfect except for one terrible feature. The LEDs on this clock are extra bright. Like crazy bright. There are 6 levels you can set the brightness at. The lowest setting works well for me at any time of the day. I wish it went lower at night but that’s not really the issue. The clock auto dims from 6PM – 7AM. This means Every morning at 7am the clock resets to the brightest setting. It’s so flippin’ annoying to have to manually dim the clock EVERY SINGLE DAY! As far as I can tell there is no way to turn the feature off. I absolutely hate it.

Great Looking Clock – Battery Suck
Cool, modern clock. Looks great in my bathroom. I like that it is not always shining the time unless you engage with it- so it could be a clock of a geometric deco. I see a lot of reviews that say it broke, and 2 months in, I thought I had the same fate. Note – the batteries drain on this VERY fast even with minimal use. That was my problem so with the replacement of 4 AAA batteries, it worked again. I knocked off a star because of the battery usage.

I’d buy it again at this price
Yes, the instructions were lacking but gave me enough to figure it out. Make sure you start out with the 24hr clock reading to determine AM and PM. Then click through the settings again to change to 12hr. The light intensity is perfect during the night. We’ve had 3 clocks already that are so bright they’re annoying, even on the lowest setting. This one has a purplish glow due to the unique translucent wood surface. It also cycles through with the date and temperature, but I can’t seem to get it to stay on that cycle.

Day one, works darn well!
Works just fine on day 1. It’s a little snaller than I expected, the setting takes a minute to get used to bit once you have it down it’s pretty easy and pretty logical in how it operates. The powersaving mode (that shuts the display off after a few seconds until you touch the unit ) was annoying until I learned it could be disabled . Now it’s a nice feature of the blue dispaly interferes with anyone’s rest. If mine operates like this for a few years I’d up this to 5 stars.

Good product with a very bright blue LED display
If you are looking for a small and decorative clock with a bright display this is the clock for you.Nice quality look and feel.We bought both this one and the dark wood version (red LED) and ended up putting the wrong one in the bedroom. The lighter wood version has a blue LED face which is VERY bright on high, so, not so good for bedroom use. When adjusted to the dimmest setting it is OK and no brighter than the cable box display.

Nice
Bought this to go into our home theater that we painted all black. We didn’t want a clock that you could see all of the time. When you clap or there is a really loud part in the movie, the time shows up. It does a great job so I know what time it is without having to look at my phone. And we don’t see the white numbers all thru a dark movie as well. Love it.

A Great Way to have Great Time
There are many aspects of this product that I like; especially the display options. These options range from time on demand, display of time only, or display of time, date, and temperature. It also allows the user to choose between different light intensities. In addition, it offers the option of a 12 hour or 24 your clock. The size is great for a computer desk, end table, or a table beside the bed. It keeps excellent time and although I don’t use the alarm feature, I assume that it works as well as the clock. I also like the setting switches. They are effective and since they are flush with the back of the clock, they don’t compromise the overall aesthetics of the clock. I would definitely buy this item again.

Perfect size and brightness
We’re recent “cord-cutters” and with the loss of the cable box, lost being able to check the time by glancing toward the TV – so we got this lovely little clock to replace that function. It’s really pretty wood, and perfect size both in and of itself, and in the size of numbers. Our only difficulty is that instructions for set up were a bit confusing. We weren’t able to figure out how to switch the temp from C to F, but finally were able to make it stay steady on the time only (which was what we cared about).I would definitely recommend this product.

What a stupid clock
This is the stupidest clock I have ever owned. Complicated to program. Why does it show the year? If someone doesn’t know what year it is, they’ve got bigger problems than just needing to know what time of the day it is. Why not make a clock that just shows the time and nothing else? Way too much hassle to program and try to figure out. I just need a simple clock!

Easy to read
It was a little hard to figure out at first but once I got it figured it’s nice. Easily readable and dims and brightens through the day.

Nice clock
Nice clock but it came with a slight scratch on the face of it, for that reason I had to dock a star. Other than that it works well with good brightness settings and USB charging port in the back. Setting the time can be a little tricky but I was able to figure it out since the instructions aren’t the best.

Beautiful Modern Clock
Great simple clock. Our new cable box doesn’t have a clock and once it was gone I realized how often I checked the time on it. Set this right on top of the cable box and problem solved. It blends right in. I will agree that the instructions are confusing but there was a great link in a previous review that is much easier to understand. That being said, I wouldn’t want to use this as an alarm clock as it might be too complicated. That was one of the reasons I didn’t use the date function either. It seems to be only formatted with the day and then the month. I didn’t want to get confused with the international date format so I just skipped it. Great as just an always on digital clock though. I like that you can use the batteries as a backup as well, so if the power goes out the clock doesn’t need to be reset.

Good looking clock
For the price, the clock looks great and is pretty functional. The electronic wood look is a cool concept and this version is a nice piece to have. The light is bright and it has alarms that can be set. My power cord is not 100% functional, it requires the cord to be bent in a certain way for the power to get through, but other than that it all seems fine. I alerted the manufacturer of the issue and they reached out to me, so I simply asked for a replacement cord, we’ll see what happens with that. These things happen with products made like this to keep the cost down. My issue wouldn’t disrupt me from another purchase if I needed another clock. Update- Fantastic customer service. They promptly took care of my issue, and instead of sending just an additional power cord, they sent me a whole new clock and said not to bother with sending back the other one. Great to know the company will have your back. I changed from 4 to 5 stars because of this, and it’s still a veyr functional clock for the price

Very slick clock
My wife and I had to replace the alarm clock in our bedroom. My son has been using a Google Home Mini to wake up in the a.m. for school and it hasn’t been working out. He’s been telling it to turn off and falling back asleep! He now has an old school alarm clock and he’s doing much better. This clock design is just sleek and high tech looking. It looks like a wooden block with integrated LED’s for the time. I haven’t seen anything like this before. My wife and I both love it. We use it only for keeping the time as we use our iPhones for our daily alarm. You’ll just need to follow the directions to get this clock set up the way you like it. After a few minutes of reviewing the instructions, the setup was a breeze. The display time is bright, on the highest setting. We’ve adjusted to the lowest setting and we’re happy with it. I highly recommend this clock for a sleek, modernized look that will compliment any room.

Pleasantly surprised
I was cautiously optimistic about this clock when I ordered it. It’s a great price for the type of clock I wanted. Simple and clean look. However, I was concerned about the mixed reviews. The clock is a good size (not miniature like many other similar clocks on Sah creatives). Unlike many reviews, I didn’t find setting the clock was very difficult. I figured it out without the instructions, which were included and were clear, in my opinion. I like the fact that you have the option to leave the display on all the time or to only activate on sound response. I originally ordered it for my office, but am getting another for the bedroom because I can set it to stay off until activated by sound. The vibration from a simple tap on the table turns it on, so I can leave it off and still check the time without waking my girlfriend. I leave it plugged in, so I can’t speak to battery life. Also, the temp seems low by a few degrees on mine. Not relevant for my uses, but thought I would mention it.

Difficult to program
This is exactly what I wanted, a low profile digital clock that blended in with my cream furniture. I just couldn’t program this clock. Set up wasn’t as easy as stated. I was disappointed to have to return this clock.

Nice Clock, But…
We ordered this clock to replace the display on the front of an Xfinity cable box. Now that we’ve gone Internet-Only, the cable box was returned and no longer provides time-of-day from within the glass-front cabinet below the television. The clock sports approximately the same digit height (only slightly larger) than the former cable box. It appears the clock will fit the bill. We ordered the brown wood-look version of this item.Volumes have already been written about the poor user “manual” or instruction sheet. Suffice it to say, the functionality is there but you may need to experiment a bit–or read the cleaned up version of the manual provided here by another reviewer.Battery: ours arrived with a dead CR2025 backup battery. No surprise there: it was in-circuit and probably had worn out months, if not years since date of manufacture! Why not supply the battery separately? Why not put a slip of plastic for the user to yank out to activate battery backup? We may never know the (lack of) customer-facing engineering that went into this product! That being said, a CR2032 battery I had on hand was pressed into service. The CR3032 is less than a millimeter thicker and the same diameter as a CR3025 used by the product. It fits the battery holder snugly and there’s enough clearance the holder can be inserted into the clock: problem solved.

Super cute, nice features
This clock is really nice and nice looking! I had a pretty easy time with the instructions. I really love the sound on/off feature. My bf and I just yell “time!” at the clock when we want to see the time. When it’s off, it just looks like a nice bamboo piece of decor.

FINALLY: CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS CLOCK
OK: I knew going into this purchase that there might be some issues with set-up. I read quite a few reviews and came to the conclusion that I could probably figure this out: this would not be the first time I purchased an aesthetically-pleasing clock with badly-written or badly-translated instructions. When the product arrived I was not disappointed: the instruction sheet is TINY, with what I assume is native Chinese on one side and the English translation on the other. I had difficulty even reading the instructions so I scanned and enlarged it using Photoshop. (HINT: that helped a LOT.)After laughing uncontrollably for a few minutes at the ridiculousness of the English translation, I set out to decipher it and turn it into a text document that would help others, as well as myself in case I needed clear instructions at a later date. After about forty minutes of work, I am happy to report that I have a (more-or-less) decent set of instructions for this clock.READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!If you start programming the clock too soon, you will end up in a “black hole” which will require a reset. Trust me on this.Plug the clock into a wall outlet, and BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, be sure the clock is set to its default position. The best way to do this is to open the battery compartment and locate the (tiny) RESET button. Use a bent paperclip to push this button. The display on the clock should start blinking and then rotating through time, date and temperature settings.Another reviewer said the secret was to press and HOLD the SET button, but BEFORE YOU DO THAT, you need to figure out that you can cycle between the two display modes by pressing and RELEASING the SET button. DP-1 (display mode 1) will cycle through time, date and temperature over and over again. DP-2 (display mode 2) will always display the time.OK: now that you’ve cycled through DP-1 and DP-2 a couple times, be sure you selected DP-1. NOW it’s time to PRESS & HOLD the SET button. The YEAR is displayed first: the default is 2015; use the UP button to change it to 2016. Then press SET.The DATE is next. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to change the month as needed, press SET, and then use the UP/DOWN buttons to change the date as needed. Press SET again to move to…TIME. use UP/DOWN buttons to set time as above. After you’ve chosen the hour and minutes, push SET.Now you can choose 12 or 24 HOUR CLOCK. UP/DOWN to choose preference; push SETALARMS ARE NEXT: sorry folks, I didn’t mess with the alarms because I didn’t purchase this clock to be an alarm clock. There are THREE alarms and you should be able to set the times for those in a similar way as setting the clock time. If you are not using the alarms, just push the SET button to get to the final setting. DON’T GO TOO FAST or you will have to repeat the entire cycle of settings again. After the alarms is the final setting: SOUND CONTROL.One reviewer thought this was a 5-day alarm, and I can understand why. The display shows “on:5d” which SEEMS like turning an alarm ON for 5 DAYS. However, that it NOT the case. “5d” is actually an approximation of SD, which is supposed to be an abbreviation for SOUND. So “on:5d” means SOUND ON, and “–:5d” means SOUND OFF.The DOWN button will cycle back and forth between sound OFF and sound ONThe UP button will cycle back and forth between Celsius and FahrenheitIf you wish to have the clock on TIME ONLY, now is the time to do it. Momentarily press and release the SET button:DP-1 = Time, Date, TemperatureDP-2 = Time OnlyONE MORE THING: There are FOUR Luminance (Brightness) settings on this clock: L0, L1, L2, L3.Between 6pm and 7am, the clock will AUTOMATICALLY reduce the Brightness setting (whatever it is) 50%.PRESS & HOLD the UP button to cycle through the Luminance Settings.I hope this helps. The clock is really kind of cool and inexpensive too, so it would be a shame for folks to not order it just because they thought they couldn’t figure it out. Yeah, I get it: this translation is PURE CRAP. But the clock itself is cool.

Easy to set up and I like that you can dim the brightness of the display. However, bummed that the colon on the time display doesn’t stop blinking and there is no way to stop it. Other than that it is a cute and simple clock.

Time / Temp / Date – DELETE THE DATE PLEASE!
I like that it tells the time and temperature, and that the design is clean looking and unique. It drives me crazy that it displays the date and that I can’t make it only display the time and temperature. First, once I’ve seen the date once on any particular day I don’t need to see it again, my memory isn’t that bad that a minute later I’ve forgotten the date. Second, it displaying the date screws your perception of time up immensely if you look at the clock at the wrong instant. For example on July tenth it displays 7 10 for the date. Every morning I need to leave for work at 7:25 to arrive on time. If it’s currently 7:24 and I glance at the clock and it happens to be displaying the date 7 10 I end up thinking I’ve still got 15 minutes before I have to leave, not 1 minute. This has made me late for work and other things several times. Now every time I want to look at the clock I am forced to stare at it for a few seconds to verify that it is displaying the time and not the date. It’s a pain! To give this product a 5 star rating I would like three on/off switches on the back of this clock for time, temperature, and date. That way I can turn set it so it only shows the temp, or only the time, or both the temp and time, or only the date, etc. This would make this a much more versatile product and it wouldn’t leave me staring at it wondering if it is showing me the date or time.

Perfect Clock
This clock exceeded my expectations. It is very contemporary-looking, the shape is unique, and the way the numbers appear through the wood finish is really cool. The red color has the best readability, and there ae many different brightness levels. I keep it on the dimmest setting all the time… It is bright enough to read, but not so bright that it becomes obtrusive. There are a lot of customizations that can be made using the buttons and dial on the back. It even has 2 USB ports in the back. GEARONIC Customer Support is very helpful, and they respond quickly. This is a great clock, and highly recommended!

Good wood clock, misleading/inaccurate photo
I’ve been using the clock for a few days now Here are some quick thoughts.Overall, easy to setup, easy to use, looks nice. Haven’t tried the alarm feature yet.1. Product photo for the white wood product is a lie.The white wood clock shows purple LEDs for the clock display. In reality, the numbers are WHITE, NOT PURPLE. I selected this product heavily influenced by the photos. The white LED still looks nice. There are many other similar products. I probably would have chosen another product with more features if I knew this beforehand.2. USB power block inconvenient orientation.Plugging this clock in a socket in my bathroom, it all works fine, but but due to the power block horizontal design, the block sticks out unconformably with the cable sticking out even further horizontally. If the power block was vertically oriented, it would fit much nicer and not be so much of an eyesore. A small aesthetic, while not bad, just adds irritation to its use. I’ll probably get an angled usb cable adapter to at least point the cable downwards.3. Very bright LED, which is great, but not perfect. The white LEDs on the white wood clock is very easy to read on all brightness settings during the day or night. I wish there was a setting to make it even less bright on the lowest setting, but I am happy that it is easy to read more so.

Not so bright
Can you see the displayed time in the photo? NO! Why?, you ask… Because this device automatically dims! There is NO manual option to keep the brightness level where I need it!! Other digital clocks that auto dim also have a option to adjust the brightness, or turn the option off/on altogether! Such a shame because this clock is a beautiful sleek design

Aestheically pleasing clock for my bedroom
I want my bedroom to be a peaceful dark environment. I especially love that I can control the brightness and that I can turn it off completely while I sleep. It looks like real wood and has a pleasant minimalistic look. There were some reviews about it being difficult to program. I didn’t have this issue. I programmed it almost completely without the instructions. I did have look up how to access the sound-triggered turn on function. It was very simple though. Just what I was looking for.

Small can be perfect
I’m pleased with this clock, because it does exactly what I want it to do. Basically the two categories of complaints people make about this clock are: 1. it’s (deceptively) small, and 2. challenging to program. All that’s required to avoid being “deceived” by it’s size is for the buyer to check the dimensions of the clock (provided in the photos) to ensure it’s going to be the right size for the space intended. There are other versions of this clock available in larger sizes if you want bigger. I wanted something that wouldn’t be too overpowering, this size was perfect for my space, and I did not want white or blue numerals in my living room. Regarding challenges to programming. I sat on my sofa, read the instructions, installed the batteries and easily set it to the way I wanted. If I had not read the instruction sheet, I might have gotten frustrated. I like the auto-dimming feature during the evening, and don’t use the date/temp option, or the 3 alarms, and I have it set for steady on, as I don’t want everyone clapping to see the time. After programming it, I walked across the room and plugged it in. The batteries are for backup use, so I don’t expect I’ll have to reprogram this clock very often, but even if I do, I’ve kept the instructions. I worry about people who find this process “challenging”. I guess I’d say that if you can read a bus schedule you can probably handle programming this clock. I didn’t score the battery rating, because I’m not really using them, and it’s brand new-so of course the battery life is fine right now. But for us, it’s a perfect little inconspicuous clock that fits our decor well and stops people from having to ask “what time is it?”

Wish you could TAP the clock to display the temperature! Also get rid of that blue dot informing you the time is PM!
NICE CLOCK – I like the clean and simple design and blue LED.There is an option to cycle the display to show the date and temperature (indoor of course) as well. It also can stay dark and only display the time if you tap it or made a sound (above 60 dB).I wish they had an option to show the time persistently but ALSO allow you to tap the clock to see the temperature reading for a few seconds. Would be very easy to program (hopefully they’re reading this?!) I also wish there was the option to get ride of the solid blue dot signifying “PM”. This is only useful for programming the alarm clock. If I can’t tell the different between 3pm and 3am by just looking around me, I have bigger problems to worry about! Also nice that you can use the included USB cable/wall plug OR just AAA batteries (4 required) for a cleaner look. I’ve read the clock drains the batteries very quickly which seems odd considering how little power LEDs use. I’ll update my review if it seems to burn through batteries too quickly. Definitely worth

It’s Nice, But Not for Me
The clock looks surprisingly nice and for folks looking for a digital clock, it’ll probably suit them just fine.Personally, I’m returning it because I can’t deal with the distraction of the blinking “:”. I don’t know why they feel that these need to blink. I can tell that the clock is working when the time changes and it’s correct. I was going to use this on my desk but I couldn’t stand the blink-blink-blink.“But you can turn off the display!” Yeah, but if I can’t just glance at a clock and see the time, then it’s not really a clock, so I wasn’t about to have the display turn off. If I did that, I might as well pull my phone out and look at it.And, AGAIN, for some unknown reason, the makers of this feel the need for yet ANOTHER bright, useless LED on the power charger. I know it’s working when the clock turns on! I don’t need yet *another* LED to light up the room at night. There’s too many already! Stop it! It serves no purpose!

So far, so good
I’m not sure what is with all the people talking about how hard this is to set. I used only the paper directions and my general knowledge of past clock-setting, and I had no problems. I bought 4 of these and asked my husband to do one with only the paper directions and he also had no problems. I bought 2 white and 2 black and put them in various rooms throughout the house. We like these a lot. They clocks are compact but not too small – I can still read it across the room. The blue light is easy to read and I like that the brightness has 3 settings, though I think the lowest setting could be even a bit lower for the bedrooms. We did notice on one of ours, that we had to giggle the AC power cord a bit where it connects to the clock to get a good connection, but once we did, it was fine. It’s not like we’ll be moving the clock around often. We’ve had them about a week and so far, comes with AC adapter, and has lots of different configurations, seems like a more than fair price to me. As long as they don’t spontaneously die like some of the other reviewers have said, I’ll be satisfied.

Takes some work to set up, worth it
This is a classy clock. It’s so much nicer than the plastic alarm clock I had before. It’s very clean and elegant. The only issue I had with it was that it turned off after about 12 hours. No clapping or talking or smacking the clock would turn it back on, I had to unplug it and plug it back in.I read all the reviews and comments about this problem, and was perplexed because I had noticed firing initial set up that it was already set to the setting that everyone said would prevent it from turning off (–Sd). I ended up changing it away from that setting, then back to it, and it’s been on for the past 3 days with no interruption. I am so glad I didn’t have to send it back, as there were no other clocks like this that were even remotely as nice looking.

Perfect for what I needed.
I took the plunge & turned off my cable. I haven’t missed it as much as I feared, but oddly I did miss the time display that was on my cable box. This little digital clock was the perfect solution. It’s small enough to sit on top of my DVD player right where my cable box was, but easy to read from the couch. And I like the simple design of it. Only thing I’d recommend is to watch the video in the listing on how to program it. It’s not exactly self explanatory & there’s so many options like: display always on or on by voice activation, display brightness, reg time or military time, only display time or rotate through time, date & temperature (which is what I want but still figuring out)… so I did take off 1 star for ease of use, but otherwise exactly what I wanted.

Update from original review.
Update from June: it’s now July. If you need a clock that works more than one month DON’T BUY THIS ONE! TIME NO LONGER DISPLAYS!! I TRIED VARIOUS OTHER OUTLETS FOR POWEE. None work. This is junk. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM JUNE: My cable company put in a new box and it does not display the time. Needed a small clock for my living room shelf that didn’t look like a bedroom alarm clock and easy to read from a distance. This one fills the bill.

Beautiful but bright
This is a little more light than I wanted but this clock is beautiful and functional. Even on the lower setting it is pretty bright in our small bedroom BUT…as it is shaped in the triangle-like shape, I can easily flip it over forward after I get into bed and flip it back over when I have to get up in the night to “use the facilities.” So this clock is great with a modern, minimalist feel.💙I had only a small amount of difficulty figuring out how to set it. There is a reviewer on here that explains it well although I cannot recall their name.

It’s a neat little conversation piece.
I’ve only had it for 2 days but think it’s pretty cool. Everyone asks what I’m doing with this random block and then are stunned when I clap to activate it. To be honest, I can’t understand the instructions very well. It just kind of says “sound/motion activated” but doesn’t say what sounds or motions to use so, clapping right in front of it seems to do the job. I think that there’s a way to leave the display on permanently but is more interesting on the other setting. Keep in mind the digits are red but my photo made them look orange due to the sun setting.

Wow, What will they think of next!
This is the coolest clock. It really does look just like a block of wood with a digital display magically in it. Matches my pine dresser perfectly. Only drawbacks are the temp is off by about 4 on the low side and the power cord sticks at an upward angle out the back of the unit making it quite pronounced and visible from a short distance away.Keeps time perfect however and it’s great to have it cycle between Time/Temp?Date automatically. Literally replaces 3 separate devices I used to keep on my dresser.Set up was a level 7 out of 10 in my estimation however once you get the hang of it, no problem.

Seems to work
It’s an older-style clock where you have to learn the secret code of its three buttons to program it, so don’t lose the instructions. It works as expected, though. I actually bought this primarily to use as a thermometer for my desk, so I’m mildly disappointed it doesn’t have a mode that just stays on temperature: it only has two modes, Always Clock and Cycle Clock->Date->Temp. It’s bright, easy to read. It didn’t seem like it dimmed significantly at night. Setup wasn’t too bad, but like I said, don’t lose the instructions.Simple but gets the job done, and looks nice.

Exactly as advertised!
The package arrived in a plain package with no wording, but everything in the box was exactly as described in the product listing. The manual is in broken English, but it’s not too hard to decipher. Setup is easy. My biggest complaint is that I can’t figure out how to get it to only display the time. It regularly changes to showing the date and inside temperature. I bought it to have something to quickly glance at and see the time, but it tends to show the date/temperature at the worst time. It’s not too big of a deal, but it’s annoying nonetheless. Overall a good product!

I ended up buying a clock very much like it off ebay that does just time and temperature …
Was a bit confusing to set up but once done you dont need to touch it. I had to read some reviews of the clock to find a command that does what I want, to keep the clock on instead of detecting movement to turn on the display, once found it sits under my monitor, I really wanted a clock to display time and temp, not interested in the date but I set it on time only and it does ok. I ended up buying a clock very much like it off ebay that does just time and temperature and I like that alot better.

It’s all in the settings!
This is a great little clock. All of the complaints you read about are addressed when you set up the clock properly. You can change the setting to have the clock turn off the display, or to display constantly. You can change the setting to show C or F. You can change the display brightness. You can change the display to cycle through Time/Cal/Temp. Or just show time all the time. The clock runs off of wall power or batteries. So it doesn’t have to eat batteries. The key is to set up the clock properly. Use the Sah Creatives review that has translated the set-up instructions. Once you use these, the clock works well and easily. A really neat addition to my office. Just follow the instructions for the settings.
