This wood grill scraper is so much better than metal bristles.
I noticed when I was using my grill brush last month that the metal bristles were falling out! I was very afraid that the metal bristles might get onto the food I was preparing so I threw it away and ordered this wood scraper. It is so much better than any other grill scraper I have ever used. I don’t know why it took me so long to find an alternative to wire grill scrapers!

Seems like a great alternative to metal scrapers – with one important caveat
I got this item only a couple of days ago and have had time only to start to “burn it in”, so to speak. The wood seems hard and capable of standing up to long use. Time will tell. The burning in will take a while as well. It is important to make sure the burn marks remain consistent each time you use it. I like the fact that it cleans without leaving metal shavings for the food to catch. And it can be used on a hot grill without worries that something plastic will melt onto the grill.My only caveat is that they are quite aggressive in getting reviews. They offer discounts and free items in return for screenshots of your reviews. And, it must be done WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE. This promotes reviews better than they might be, both due to time constraints and the fact that you are aware they are reading it. This borders on dishonesty. While it does not detract from the item itself, it means that reviews are much less likely to be reliable.

Solid construction
I like the feel of it! It great quality. Gonna take a few goes to work well. It wasn’t a truly hot grill because I was doing cedar plank salmon 🍣 but next time it’ll be steaks and I’ll be able to get a solid burn in. No complaints!
