This table is what I’ve been needing. I’m not bedridden, but I LOVE having a table that slides across my bed so that I can use my laptop computer, magazines, coffee & a meal while I’m comfy in bed. It’s wide & long enough to accommodate everything at the same time. It easily slides out of the way when not in use. The table was super easy for me to install. I did it myself! (I’m over 60). It’s stable and strong. The price was affordable. The delivery was fast. The packaging was secure. A five-star purchase for me.

Truly adjustable to the height range specified and works as described. Although coated, I don’t think the surface is all that water resistant so I put shelf contact paper over mine for easy clean up and peace of mind. Wish the surface came on different finishes like faux marble or granite instead of the boring brown panel. It does flex some so if you use this for your laptop and are a heavy handed typer be warned. The wheels are not Easy to roll around the don’t glide and it takes holding the table both hands.

Got this for my husband because he has spinal issues, among other health problems. It serves the purpose. I feel it’s sturdy enough, he can eat a meal on it, put his laptop on it, most of the things you’d use it for. Frankly I prefer these over a set of snack trays. And much better to get your own instead of borrowing from the Lions Club or renting. Afterall this was very inexpensive, and so worth it.

I bought this for my mom who’s in an at-home hospital bed most of the time. This table is somewhat heavy, but easy to assemble. The lever to adjust the height is easy to operate. I’m impressed by how well it rolls on carpet, even when there’s weight on the table top. No chance of tipping it over. It also has a slight lip around the edges which I like in case of any spills. My only minor complaint is that the table top warps a bit if there’s weight on the unsupported side, but it’s still perfectly functional despite this and doesn’t bend enough to cause a problem. So far it’s functioning well. I hope it holds up. Also, the price is decent considering what some other tables cost that are similar.

Was hesitant to purchase this for my 83yr old father since all the other prices were much higher than this one. But when I received it, it was perfect for our needs. It was easy to assemble, sturdy, and the quality it great! It’s a resinous type top, not wood, which is awesome. The top does not swivel, but that’s a plus for me since I needed a traditional hospital type bedside table. The base is very sturdy. The wheels lock and the height is adjustable. It is large enough for all our needs and the edging is slightly raised. Once again, for the price, its GREAT! If you need a standard large bedside table, this is pretty good. If you can find one just as good for a better price, do what you must, but if not, try this one.

Very impressed! My mother needed a new one once she transferred from the rehab, and I found this one online. I was afraid it would be a cheap, wobbly version, but it’s not! It’s exactly like the one she had in the rehab center and it’s heavy and sturdy. 5 minutes to put together, height adjusts smoothly, and the brown was very attractive with the rest of her wood furniture. Definitely recommend

I purchased this for several reasons but the main one being able to craft whether in my office chair or in bed. It was delivered in perfect shape and the driver was very helpful. My husband put it together with a screwdriver and wrench, it took him 4 minutes to read the instructions (yes he did!) and 6 minutes to assemble. He’s mentioned more than once that he’s very impressed with how sturdy it is. While the wheels won’t fit under a recliner, it comes close. The table is a good size, height is adjustable, 2 wheels lock and it’s a good quality product! I definitely recommend!

Table arrived quickly, well packaged and with all the parts. For those of you wondering about the instructions they were easy to understand even though I’m not one to look at directions. All you need tool wise is a Phillips screw driver and a crescent wrench, or pliers, or the proper size wrench. Since I was too lazy to walk out to the shop and get any of the mentioned tools all I did was hand tighten the two bolts and finally found a #2 Phillips in my junk drawer. There is one shipping screw that has to be removed with the Phillips. It’s at the top of the stand. Only remove that screw. Manufacturer even put stickers around the screws you don’t remove.Very pleased with the table. It rises and lowers easier than the actually hospital tables and certainly moves around much easier

I purchased this when my husband had surgery and needed to work from home for a couple of weeks – a temporary assignment so I didn’t want to spend a lot on one with all the bells and whistles, or a nicer-looking (more furniture-y) version. It’s sturdy enough and large enough to hold a laptop or some papers or a meal. The pneumatic works great and holds its position well. It was easy to assemble, doesn’t look or feel dinky/cheap (the wood veneer isn’t chipping or anything) and is pretty (enough) and so portable that I can keep using it around the house (or hide it in the closet) easily. It’s actually pretty handy as a laundry folding station…Totally met my expectations based on the item description and would definitely recommend for its price.

I got it as a part of preparation for a surgery and used it for about 7-10 days after getting home from a hospital. It arrived packaged very well in a surprisingly small (thin) and light box. Assembly was quick and straightforward. Required tools are a screwdriver and a set of SAE wrenches or an adjustable wrench (surprisingly, the nut which had to be tightened was not metric). It literally took 5-10 mins to get it assembled. It is light enough to lift and carry to the second floor, and it is sturdy enough for some supplies which need to be at hand (e.g., water or medication or phone), for food, or to put a laptop computer or a tablet. The height is adjustable; the best way to adjust is to grab the tabletop with two hands on opposite sides along the length, concurrently squeeze the lever, and pull or push up or down. Adjustment with one hand does not work very well. Having said that, I never needed to adjust it when it was in use. I found that the lowest setting was the best, and, as a matter of fact, for my bed height, a slightly lower setting (which alas was not available) would work even better. The table rolls really easily on hardwood floor, I could roll it closer or further away with one hand. I found it sturdy and stable. Of course it is not designed for heavy loads, as tabletop is attached with 4 screws on one side only. Overall, it served its purpose really well and was a tremendous help when it was needed.I tried to use it as a laptop stand, but it proved a little awkward – the angle and the position of the keyboard was awkward, too high and too horizontal. I also used it as a support for a tablet to watch movies, that worked really well. One does not need to buy an expensive bedside table unless a long term use is expected because after recovery it becomes kind of useless, while during recovery it finds only a light use. Overall, I am very satisfied – no issues whatsoever. It does not look super pretty or fancy, but it does its job as a medical bedside table. Hospitals use much fancier ones, but hospitals also need much better durability and longevity from their furniture.

We read reviews before we decided to buy this item and decided to take a chance. We got ours safely and no damage. We assembled it and it did not take too long. However, you will need two person at the end of assembling the leg of the table. One person had to hold the leg while the other tighten the screw. Other than that, it was an easy process. The table is sturdy and has good quality. It does not make any noise or wobly when we move it around. We might buy another one. Good price and good product.

We purchased this table when my wife was bedridden with sciatica and it has seen us through two back surgeries and is still being used, 2.5 months later for her to work on during the day since she still can’t sit at her desk.It was trivially easy to assemble, is sturdy and works as expected. I don’t know what else can be said of a product that functions exactly as described. The attention to detail is amazing, they even include a small silver screw to place in the hole vacated by a larger screw that secures the lift mechanism for shipping. And you can’t make a mistake removing that screw as every other screw on the product has a small circular label warning you not to remove it.My only advice to prospective buyers is to note the dimensions and make sure it will be large enough for your use. If I had it to do over again, I might have bought a slightly larger model, but it still holds a large laptop, mouse pad and power brick with room to spare.

I am updating my previous review. The table I received was not what I had hoped for so I left a review that stated the two things that I was not happy about with my order. Surprisingly, I received a message from the seller within a few days and they were truly concerned about how I felt as a customer. My concern was that the tables legs are brown in the photo ad but instead have a nice stainless steel look to them on the product itself, which I was sure I did not want but have found to have a nice clean look and be made with attention given to quality. Also, the top of the table was somewhat difficult to raise and lower. When I shared this information with the Med Shop and Beyond they asked no further questions and I had a replacement table in just TWO DAYS! It worked GREAT! We ended up buying 3 more as we take care of an elderly Mother and a disabled sister in our home and after seeing all the possibilities these tables can be used for we then purchased one for my husband and myself. Now we enjoy the convenience of being able to work, read or just snack while lazing about in any room of our home.My husband put them together at an average of 20 minutes per table after reading the instructions before and during the process. It’s refreshing to receive this kind of personal customer care and such a quality product at a reasonable price.

My wife is a double stroke victim and is pretty much confined to her hospital bed and wheelchair. I was using TV trays to feed her but this was not the answer. I went online and typed in “HOSPITAL BED TV TRAY” and the Vaunn product popped up. I decided to take a chance and boy was I surprised. This table was really easy to assemble and is more sturdy than the trays in the hospital where my wife stayed. If you are looking for a hospital TV Tray, LOOK NO FURTHER!! The Vaunn product is priced right and has met ALL of our needs.THANK YOU VAUNN COMPANY YOUR PRODUCT IS SUPERIOR!

I originally bought one for my husband, who is typically bed bound. He was using it to hold everything and ran out of room to use it to eat a meal or use his laptop, so we bought another for that purpose. We have found that it is easily moveable on carpet, which was one of its biggest selling points. I had been thinking about getting a bed tray for myself, but decided on getting another table instead. I have been very happy with my decision and even use it sometimes use adjust its height to make it a standing desk when I need to stretch out (I am 5’3″). I would only be cautious about how much weight I would place on the table, as it is adjustable. There was one time my husband tried to use it to steady himself while he was standing while it already had his very heavy gaming laptop on it, and the table lowered because it was under so much weight. After we raised it back to its original height, we have not had any issues with it happening again. This table is durable, when used with care. I definitely recommend it!

When I broke my leg and have been stuck in bed, I needed a table. This is height adjustable so you can set it where it is comfortable. Could use lower when I was in the wheelchair. Eat on it, do crafts, or work on my computer. This did the job for me and it was reasonably priced.

Let me start by saying this was a great buy! I’m very happy with my purchase.Wheels run smoothly, table is great size to hold my laptop and extra monitor. Some tips: you will need your own tools, screwdriver and wrench. The instructions are in the box, but may be stuck to the side after you pull parts out. Once it is put together, if the lever to change height doesn’t work, look for (and remove) the tiny black screw …. do not remove screws that have “do not remove” stickers around them. The tiny black screw can be difficult to see at first, but it is there to hold equipment stable during shipping. The instructions do say to remove this, but I didn’t see that the first time I read them.

Just started college and do not have a desk or area that I can comfortably use for my laptop and text books. THIS solved the problem. Its just the right size for small lap top and mouse pad with a bit of room for a coffee cup, note pad or medium-ish size text book. It went together SUPER easy and is a breeze to move from room to room and I can adjust the height for working at the couch or even from in bed. It seems pretty sturdy as well. Nice job!

This product’s quality exceeded my expectations. The table surface is manufactured with high-end materials and the construction is rigid. Setup is easy with just a phillips screwdriver and small hand or socket wrench. Took all of 10 minutes. Good instructions. The only negative is that the table (out of the box) is a bit difficult to raise and lower (one has to put foot on bottom support bar prior to attempting to raise/lower). I had to use some lightweight household grease to improve the operation of the height adjustment bar. Without that it would be nearly impossible for my 96-year old parent to have raised/lower on her own.

This review is for Vaunn Medical Adjustable Overbed Bedside Table With Wheels. The product arrived complete, on-time and as advertised by the seller.I purchased this table in advance of planned convalescence and I am confident that it will fulfill its purpose as a sturdy and practical solution. The pictorial instruction sheet is clear enough; unpacking and assembly took about 20 minutes. I note that some reviewers have mentioned complications with the transport screw which is detailed in section 5 of the instruction sheet; I suspect that there might be confusion with two other screws in the same area which are labeled DO NOT REMOVE. Once assembled, the table can be moved easily on the four caster wheels (the two outer wheels have locking mechanisms to fix in place) and the base slides easily under a raised bed. The height is adjusted using a side lever and the mechanism is spring-balanced such that little effort is needed to raise or lower the table-top.The table top is fixed horizontally (it does not tilt); it is conveniently sized for meals, laptop/books, etc. There is a plastic trim around the perimeter which is raised slightly such that pencils will not roll off.

My elderly dad needed something he could use as a tv tray and everything I found was just cheap and not very functional. My dad says, well dont they have any like the hospital has? So I headed off to internet to search for the perfect one. Assembly was quick and easy. Heavy duty, great size rolls really easy. I think if it had the option to collapse the tray flat it would be easier for storage but other than that he is very happy.

I assembled this without my husband (so this MUST be easy). This is the second table I purchased because it is more versatile than you would think. My mother and 12 year old daughter now have one (daughter wanted one as a table while she polishes her nails, etc). Fits over beds, lift chairs, futons, couches… just make sure you have enough clearance to accommodate the ‘bottom rail or footing’.

So pleased with this Vaunn Medical adjustable over bed bedside table w/wheels from Beyond Med Shop that I’ve recommended it to my family members that are in need of it. This table was so easy to assemble, took me less than 10 minutes & I’m disabled. Easy to follow instructions, only needed a phillips screwdriver & a wrench. Also has a QR code to scan if you want to watch assembly video. Easy raise & lower lever locks in place at desired level (For those who are having problems with lift, double check Step #5 to make sure you’ve removed & replaced the transport screw). Looks exactly as pictured. Also offers online Warranty Registration.

Wow, this thing is so neat!It is a trau over bed, hospital durability. So sturdy.Very easy to put together, just follow the instructions.I read the comments, about spring loading, blah blah. Not true, that its difficult to figure out. It’s simple engineering here. It moves up and down by this thing you pinch on the underside of the tray. Its adjustable. Of course anything spring loaded you’ll need to understand the mechanics of that before you begin. It’s not rocket science though. If you’re looking for a hospital type tray table, this is what you’re looking for. Its fairly heavy duty.I love mine.

I bought this table when I was having reconstructive knee surgery, and I knew I would be stuck in bed for seven weeks. It was easy to put together, maybe 10 minutes max.It fits a 17 Alienware laptop, meds, bar of chocolate, cellphone and a couple of cans of water with space left. Mind you, the laptop is 10 lbs.It rolls reasonably easily on my carpet, and it adjusts up and down without any problems. I would recommend this bedside table to anyone, especially if you are going to be stuck in bed for a while.

My Mother recently had hip replacement surgery – while she was in the hospital and couldn’t walk unless accompanied by a nurse or therapist, the rolling tray they provided was her mobile everything-desk: meal “table,” phone stand, notebook & pen holder, etc. I was asked to help her transition back home, and knew a tray like this would be invaluable until she could get up & around again…called all the local DME suppliers but they didn’t carry anything like it. Thankfully sah creatives did, and this product did NOT disappoint – she LOVES it and will probably use it as her rolling laptop desk once she’s all healed up, because it looks nice, and is heavy enough to not tip over yet designed to roll easily. So convenient, and a terrific help!

This table was easy and fast to put together. Not as sturdy as the ones they have in hospitals. I mainly got it for when we eat in the tv room –so husband has a place to put the plate. Kind of like a tv tray that i can just roll to another area -out of the way. It fits under /up to the recliner just fine. Not the best wheels but it rolls fine (not on carpet). Have had it for about 6 or more weeks. Seems to hold up fine for what i am using it for.

Really liking my purchase. I’m using this for a “standing desk” as I work from home duringvthis pandemic. My desk is dual-purpose for my home & work computers, with separate monitors & peripherals. My work keyboard is large & none of the standard desktop sit-stand devices were large enough to fit that keyboard & mouse. I saw a review of someone using a overbed medical table for computer work & found this to be a cheaper option too! Has multiple heights to select from, so works for everyone in the family, from me at just over 5 ft to my son at almost 6 ft! I use it in the office, but my son rolled in easily into his room, when working long hours for his college finals. Can use it in the living room as an extra table or just for a change of scenery from the drudgery of working from home. And can use it if I get sick for it’s intended purpose. Very versatile!

I run my own business, was very sick for a couple of weeks. Worked from bed for a week with this and my laptop. You do what you have to when you don’t have someone that can pick up the slack. I love this table, maybe the best thing I have purchased in a long time. Easy to put together, sturdy, and although I hope to never work from bed again, I use it at my couch and my bed now.

Loved the simple video how to put together. Very very very easy. You only need wrench and Phillips screwdriver. It feels sturdy for what it is. It hold 45 pounds.I love how easy it goes up and down. Maneuvers so easy.I’m using it in the living room for crafts…eating meals…bills/paperwork. So much easier on my old eyes. I can adjust table to where I don’t need bifocals on. Less strain on my eyes. Hopefully less migraines? I’m just so happy with this table. It’s really going to help my life!(Only negative but it ended up okay. The box was pretty mangled. I know all shipping options are in chaos right now. I don’t blame manufacturer about these issues. This is just an FYI.)

This took all of ten minutes to put together. I use it as an exercise bike table for my SlimCycle – just unscrewed the two screws holding the handlebars, disconnected the monitor, moved that whole handlebar piece to the side, and moved the height of this table up so it slid over top. Now I have a super sturdy work surface to get an hour of work in and get some exercise before the kid wakes up, perfect for a busy mom. It’s big enough to hold everything (laptop, large mouse pad, steno book for notes, water bottle), it’s the perfect keyboard height, and there is more than enough room for my legs. I am loving this setup for a bike desk so much! I can slide the handlebars back on without screws and connect the monitor in seconds when I’m done if I want to use the bike without the desk so I can track calories, etc, but I can’t see wanting to do that because this is such a great setup.

This table is a good quality table for my mom, who is currently bed ridden. It is adjustable and easy to assemble. The table is study and easy to be rolled around the bed. You can adjust the height for easy access and eating. The table is easy to clean up as well. I highly recommend for anyone who is bed ridden.

Good table. Up/down control works fine. The only obvious improvement, would be better wheels. They are cheap plastic and did not “snap” in place. The most difficult thing about the assembly was getting the wheels on correctly so that the table would be level. My use doesn’t require frequently moving/rolling, hopefully the wheels will hold up. As far as functionality and price, the tabletop is good and works as intended.

So easy to set up took less than 10 minutes. My husband has to have knee surgery so we wanted something he could use to work from his bed while he recovers. This is perfect! It really is just like what you see in the hospitals except it doesn’t have the pull out draw which I fine for us.

Before ordering this table I spent 6 days in a hospital hooked to and IV line with a specialized antibiotic killing an infected diabetic ulcer. I had plenty of time to evaluate the versatility of my table next to my bed. I was determined to buy one upon returning home.Assembly took about 5 minutes with just 6 screws and two bolts. The table is beautiful, sturdy and easy to roll around or adjust. I’m considering buying a 2nd one to be my night table over my bed. The first one is now in my living room over my man chair. I highly recommend this product!

The Vaunn Medical Adjustable Overbed Bedside Table was exactly what we needed! After a two month hospital stay, we needed several medical supplies at home for my parent to transition back into daily living. This table made so many every day tasks easier. Everything from eating, to sorting medications, to having “an extra hand” nearby for dressing, and more, it has all been easier with the use of this table. I not only recommend it, I highly suggest that anyone that is caring for someone with medical needs purchase it. It’s a good size without taking up too much space, and it is easy to maneuver, and is strong enough for the purpose it is intended for. It is extremely easy to assemble. It honestly took me only a few minutes to have it ready to use. Assembly consists of attaching the tray and wheels to the base. The wheels snap into place, and they also lock if you need them to. There are a total of 6 screws to attach the tray to the base, and a small metal plate, and 2 bolts that make it secure to the base and tray. There is one small screw that is exchanged to allow the lever to adjust in height. It probably took me less than 10 minutes after unpacking everything and glancing at the instructions. I used a Phillips screwdriver, and tightened the bolts with a small pair of pliers. It was super simple. It is well worth the investment! It was the perfect choice!

I purchased this for my husband who just had open heart surgery. Along with an adjustable bed (from another site). This table works excellent! My only wonder is why the screw that replaces a temporary screw is smaller than the temporary one? Perhaps it’s mechanics that I just do not understand. All in all, the table works great!I can’t speak for the sturdiness yet as we have only owned it for a week and a half. I’ll give it 5 stars for now and if it fails in the near future I figure I can come back and change that. It seems sturdy enough though.

I should have bought this years ago. It is very easy to assemble. It did not take more than 20 minutes to put it together. Once the table is adjusted to the height you want, it stays there. The wood grain on the table is very nice to look at. The molding around the edge of the table has a little lip on it to help keep items from sliding/rolling off the table. Once you position the table and lock the wheels, it stays put. It is very easy to move around when the wheels are unlocked. I use my laptop a lot and it is the perfect size for my 17″ laptop, mouse, copy holder and when needed, the battery charger. I use the tble while in bed and while sitting in my office chair.

I purchased this table to help give my wife more space and flexibility while she recovers from a complicated surgery. The pluses are that it is well built, works exactly like we expected, and is easy to slide in and out of the bed as needed. The minuses are that it can get a little top heavy and unstable on carpet, and the assembly did not go well due to a piece that had become dislodged in shipping or during unpacking.NOTE: If you find an extra metal rod floating around in the box (in addition to the friction rod that is used to tighten the top table), slip it back into the hole at the top of the center post, before following the rest of the instructions to put it together.I take a star off for assembly, because it cost me an hour of messing around with greasy internals of the center post. There should be a rod in the center of the main post that had come out in the packaging. So in following all the instructions, I ended up with the whole center expanded fully without any way to get it to go back down. In trying to figure out what the problem was, before I realized the extra long metal rod was supposed to be inside the center post, I ended up disassembling and pulling the two posts apart. I figured out how the spring metal was working, and how the friction of the center screw and the spring loaded metal comb worked to keep it in place, then added the rod back in after an AH-HA moment, and managed to get it all back together and cleaned up. If you are looking to understand the mechanics of this and how to get it back together, drop me a note.In all, it is a solid, easy to use hospital bed type table. We will likely order more of them.

This is a solid table. It is perfect for my needs. For assembly, I needed a Phillips head screwdriver, and an adjustable wrench. When putting the base/legs on the table, I had to use a chair to support and hold up one end. Otherwise, it was very easy to assemble. I didn’t use the wheels. The wheels would have made the height too high to slide under my couch when I wanted to use it from there. I use it for an extra surface area next to my desk, as well as a portable laptop desk around my house. Great value. Very sturdy.

Was concerned because of bad reviews of opening package saying that the wood was broken, pieces missing, etc.Ours packaging was very secure and undamaged and the pieces inside were perfect and took maybe 10 minutes to assemble.Love this table. Currently am using using it as a table for my cross stitch lap stand so that I can sit and cross stitch comfortably. It is big enough to not only hold the stand but also the chart too. It rolls perfectly on hardwood floor when needing to move. And unlike another rolling table we purchased years ago, this one has no long bar in the floor area, it is more of a [ shape than a t shape, which was the deciding factor. Can be used for so many things. May buy another.

This table was perfect for our needs. My 80 year old mother-in-law is in a wheelchair. I bought this to put in front of her wheelchair so she could have her magazines, tissues, and drink available. The size is perfect. It rolls easily. It is sturdy enough to handle everything she enjoys at her fingertips. I did NOT want a tip top. I knew she would tip it all the time knocking stuff off. This one does not tip. It is very easy to position it at different heights. Just push the lever and it goes up and down. Less than 10 minutes to put together. It is sturdy and a good quality. We are very pleased with this table and would purchase it again.

This table is probably one of the best items I’ve ever purchased from sah creatives. I bought it so that I could work from home if I was feeling under the weather. It is height adjustable and fits perfectly over my bed. Because it is so lightweight, I roll it into the living room and work from there as well. It even raises high enough that I can use it as a standing desk (I’m only 5′ 4 though). It’s perfect to sit my laptop on while I use my lap desk for my wireless keyboard. It’s not very pretty, but I don’t mind. The wheels lock too so that it doesn’t roll around if you bump it.

I bought this for my husband to be able to eat in his recliner. As we get up there in an age moving around isn’t as easy. I bought this so my husband can eat in his recliner and be able to move everything into the kitchen instead of carrying everything back and forth. It was easy to put together and it’s great to roll into the kitchen and roll into the living room with food and all the drinks and then roll back into the kitchen to do the dishes. It makes life a lot easier when you are losing some of your mobility. Great find.

This is a great little table that is very sturdy and comes in handy for many uses. My mother is in assistant living and it is easy to move around for her needs. She can eat meals on it, in her wheelchair, in front of the TV, or use it to do puzzles and word game magazines. On days she is not feeling well, she can use it for a tray to eat on while sitting up in bed. We have also used it as a bedside phone table for her landline phone. I highly recommend it.

Ok, I just received this item and had read all the previous posts on it, so I was prepared, but what was written about this item didn’t explain it properly. I will try to write a review that is completely clear and will answer any questions you may have. The table top is 15×30, it does have a small lip all the way around from the trim on the side of the table. The lip is only about a 1/16 of an inch, so no major problem with getting in the way, chipping or cracking, but enough to keep something from sliding off. It does not tilt. The lever mechanism to raise or lower is very nice and works very well.It is fairly sturdy on wobbling, but you have to remember this isn’t super big. It’s big enough to put a laptop with mouse and pad and a drink on, that’s about all the space. Being that size there is shake to it if you bump it so a drink without a top will slosh. It took less than 5 minutes to put together, 6 screws and 2 bolts with one screw you remove and replace with a shorter screw. This is the part that everyone talks about. The directions have an assembly diagram showing you putting in the 6 screws and 2 bolts, just like any other directions kind of showing you how it all fits together before starting with the directions. HOWEVER in this case because it is so simple the diagram is your instructions, then when it says STEP ONE, you really are on step 3, you must put the thing together by the diagram (6 screws and 2 bolts with a washer for the 2 bolts) BEFORE you go to step one, which is removing the retaining screw and then inserting a short screw so that the stand can raise and lower. The base on the floor is off center, not symmetrical, which means it still works from either side of the bed, but you can actually pull it up close to an item you are sitting in that it can’t go under. With all of that said here is the bad part and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The plate that attaches the table to the stand is approximately 4×6 in one corner of the 15×30 table. The table although laminated is press board and the screws are about 1/3 of an inch long. There is no way this thing will hold 25 pounds for long.If you want a laptop table that you can have a drink at with a top on the drink, this is a great table and exactly what I wanted. If you’re going to put a TV or heavy monitor on it, this is not the table. It’s to bad they didn’t make the connecting plate longer with a few more screws and just charged a few more dollars, this would be a 5 star table.I hope this helps, I am completely satisfied with this table, as I wanted it to use my laptop on while in bed and I’ve found none better than this one for that purpose at the price.

Handy and convenient. For me personally the only con is the lowest adjustment being 28 inches. The capability to lower to 20 inches would have been perfect for my small stature. I’ve ordered four tables and they all came in good condition. Our dog is handy with tools so he had it assembled in no time. All four tables are easy to adjust up and down and they roll smoothly on the hardwood floor. They get a tiny bit stuck on plush carpet and require a little extra nudge but not a big deal. Two of the wheels lock for safety precaution. The 30 inch table surface is the best part since it provides a sufficient amount of room for eating, reading and hobbies. My family and I really like these tables. The fourth table was purchased for a family member recovering from surgery and she loves it.

I bought this to use in my video studio as a sort of “3d printer cart.” I needed something which could support a large 3d printer and which was adjustable in height so that the printer could be slid onto various height surfaces in the video studio (minimal movement of the printer means it holds its leveling better which saves time).I modified it by adding a 24″x24″ piece of 1/2″ plywood (my printer footprint is just slightly smaller than 24×24). This table supports and is well balanced for my printer going from the storage corner to the on set table and back. The height adjustment is great/easy to use.Since my use case is “non-standard” and sort of pushes this table to its spec limits, I would guess it will work great as an over bed work table/food table. Assembly was super easy/straight forward, though, for my use I might change the plastic casters for some more “heavy duty” wheels eventually. If I ever need another adjustable table for any reason I’ll very likely buy a second one of these!

I bought a second Vaunn Medical adjustable overbed bedside table with wheels that is a huge disappointment! It is impossible to securely tighten the bolts on this table I received. The the openings the bolts had to go through were not aligned properly. The requested picture I sent Med Shop shows the bolts are not tight. So, the table is not stable. It certainly is not usable for a bed patient. The box arrived damaged so I cannot return the table. This table is leaning against the wall as a shelf for light objects. This is not what I bought it for! I bought this table because I already have one Vaunn Medical adjustable over bed bedside table with wheels that is very useful! It was easy to assemble! All problems taken care of so I updated my review!

Purchased this table to help make my home work space more comfortable. When using my laptop at our dining room table, the Vaunn table can be brought in to create an L-shaped workspace so my right arm is at a better angle for using the computer mouse. The height of the Vaunn table can be adjusted to about the same height as the dining table, and the base of the Vaunn table fits around the base of the desk chair I’m using. Since it appears that I’ll be working from home for a lot longer than originally anticipated, I was pleased to find an affordable way to improve my home setup. It also makes a great extra side table. For those who might want to try this, be sure to compare the Vaunn table measurements to your existing table/desk and chair. For those who are left-handed, your laptop would have to go on the Vaunn table and your mouse on the other table or desk.
