Quality product with easy assembly
We redid our entire closet and didn’t have an option we liked to complete shoe collection until we found this! We bought 2 units and put them side by side and it’s a great option to finish your closet. We added it to our IKEA PAX system and it fits perfectly with that style. Assembly was super easy. I read some other reviews about being damaged when they received it and my guess it this happened during delivery. We have a ring and our ups driver just tossed it out of the truck in our driveway. If you assemble it correctly and follow the directions, this is a great product. My only tip when putting the shoe bracket together with the frame is to keep the bracket on the ground and put the frame on top.

Serves the Intended Purpose…
This is a pretty good product that gets the job of shoe storage done. Like other reviewers, we did have some pieces that arrived that were chipped, peeling, bent, etc., but we were able to easily hide the blemishes on ours. We had one frame piece that was bent and dinged up which kinda sucked, but because our shelves are positioned in a more hidden area we just rolled with it and tried to hide it the best we could. It wasn’t difficult to assemble, but I did read other reviews that gave some helpful tips (i.e. insert the shelves while the unit is standing rather than laying). It was definitely convenient to have 2 people during assembly but 1 person could probably do the job. It’s not the best quality out there by any means, but it serves its purpose and is sturdy enough once shoes are in place. I wear a women’s size 7 and you can see how my shoes fit- wedges are a bit tougher to fit in the slots and some shoes didn’t fit at all no matter how I tried to arrange them, however I don’t have any shortage of shoes so I was able to utilize every inch of space ha! I do recommend the product, I just gave it 4 starts because of the below par quality for that price.

Easy to assemble!
The product was very easy to assemble. It took maybe 30 mins. Still don’t know if it has enough room for all my wife’s shoes. Hahaha

Holds size 13 men’s shoes
Better than expected and not hard to put together- although easier with two people. We were expecting to have to separate my husbands shoes into two cubbies, but they fit into one. Happy with my purchase for our mid room.

Use tape to hold dividers tight to install.
I moved to my smaller back bedroom suite to make room for my mom and all of her craft and sewing machines in the master. Unfortunately, I had less than half the closet space. This provided a great solution for my shoes. While boots do not fit well, I can get a pair of shoes in each cubby. I wish it had doors to keep the dust off but intend to hang a curtain over. I put most of it together myself. My daughter helped to put the dividers in. Struggled a little. We resolved by using tape to pull dividers tight to help avoid slipping apart during the transfer. This seemed to be a good solution. Looks nice. A little pricy but was worth it due to the quantity of shoes it holds in a small space and looks nice, good quality.

Serve the purpose, but….
The wood is light and easy to handle for a 50-plus guy. However, the assembly took longer than expected. None of the parts have been labeled. The orientation of some parts could have helped. In addition, the back piece is folded on itself, leading to the confusion that only one item of the two shipped. While the assembly had its challenges, the next challenge was to fit a size 11 shoe into the tiny boxes. As other reviews pointed out, small-size shoes or thinner/flexible shoes can be fitted into one box, but the large ones need one box each, cutting the overall space by half. Overall, it served my purpose and I recommend it for its quality of the wood and cost.

Great storage rack except for the smell-shelves are NOT adjustable once assembled
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this storage rack. The shelves are a good thickness & I don’t anticipate the shelves buckling or sagging over time. Once assembled it is quite heavy so I recommend you assemble it close to it’s final location. The size of each cubby is generous-I wear a women’s size 6 shoe & I can actually fit 2 pairs of sandals or ballet flats in 1 cubby. The downside is that the shelves aren’t adjustable once assembled. You have to insert all the shelves in the configuration you want & then nail the backing on. So, if you decide you want taller shelves for taller shoes/boots, you would have to carefully remove the nails w/o tearing the back & then remove the shelves you want & nail the backing on again. I wish they had constructed it so that you could slide shelves in & out from the front. There is also a very strong smell (I’m assuming from the paint or chemical wood treatment) that has not gone away in 2 months. I put this rack in my walk-in closet & usually keep the door closed. The smell has dissipated a little bit since I started leaving the door open to air it out but it’s still definitely noticeable. I wiped down the whole unit w/ a wet cloth but that didn’t help. Hopefully the smell does go away eventually. Another assembly tip is that there is a correct direction you insert the shelves that’s not mentioned in the instructions. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it until I had already nailed on the back. I put them in upside down so, the very bottom row of shelves are larger than than the rest & the very top row is much smaller than the rest b/c there’s a piece of the frame on the top that covers up part of the top row of shelves.

Premade grid for shoes has white coating on the wrong side.
The product is great, but when assembling the grid for the shoe holes, it is just two long sides and multiple slots in the middle that have to fit together. We sat the grid inside the built box we put together. It worked great until we sat the box up and noticed the shoe holes didn’t have the white coating on the outside. So we took the back off and had to flip the grid around which was a pain in the ass. The grid was made to go together and place inside where there isn’t any white coating on the grid. In order to make it work, you had to have several people hold the grid as the slots in the wood would slide out and fall into the bottom of the box. It’s almost like the grid has the white coating on the wrong side of the grid since the coating should be on the side where the cut outs fit together and not where they will fall out once flipped.

Perfect for tidying my closet
Found other similar products at a much higher price so took a chance on this one and glad I did! Just what I needed to tidy and organize my master bedroom closet and give me the incentive to cull out some shoes so I could just use the 36 slots in this cabinet. Was able to assemble by myself but another set of hands would have made standing it up easier! Love the quality and would recommend for anyone needing to store your shoes in a more efficient manner.

Good but has a smell
I love my shoe rack, it was a little bit hard coming to putting the dividers and lifting it up to secure the back part but overall great. Only really negative is the strong smell it has.

Really pleased with this cabinet!
We purchased this cabinet to put in our entryway closet, it ended up fitting perfectly!First of all, the assembly was really easy and fast. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together on my own. I also appreciate the efficient packaging- they didn’t use a bunch of wasteful styrofoam and it was well protected. Absolutely no damaged pieces! The quality seems pretty good and the inserts feel very sturdy. I included some photos for reference what sizes can fit in the shelves. My shoe size is a women’s size 8 and my husband is a men’s size 9.5. His boots wouldn’t fit but I figured that would be the case. Overall really pleased with this cabinet!

good for what it is, need two people, make it your own
overall i’m very happy with the product! it’s not perfect by any means but it’s good. once it’s built it’s not super sturdy but good enough. i really recommend you use the wall attachment for that added sense of security. the instructions were mostly simple and straightforward. makes sure you read ahead and understand what’s the front side. the front side gets molding so before you attach that molding it looks like the back side. so took me a minute to make sure the bottom shelf was placed properly. they say you can use a drill but i wouldn’t recommend it. i did and one of the screws i messed up. i was able to cover it with super glue and covers they provide so no biggie. the biggest thing that annoyed me was the dividers. i am single and live by myself so i had to do it on my own. the instructions required two people. i had to install the dividers backwards. i wish the company would design it that way instead of separate then placing it.that’s the only reason why i gave it 4 stars. i also put some peel and stick wall paper on the backing to go with my closet. as for the raw wood edges you see from the dividers i’ll probably get some wasabi tape that matches the paper to cover it. over all for mdf it’s better quality then most but in the end it is still mdf. very happy though

Sturdy and easy to put together.
This turned out perfect. Due to limited closet space, I had to keep a lot of my shoes in the guest room closet, which was a pain. I wanted something that would look nice in my room for extra shoe storage. This did the trick. I’m a size 8 and wear a lot of heels, and they fit fine in the slots. The top slots were a little taller, which was perfect for my higher platform heels. I was also able to put it together by myself without any problems. There is one step that says to use 2 people, but I was able to get around that by turning the frame on it’s side, and then sliding the insert into it from the back.

Better than expected however one thing to note…
Very impressed with the construction… it’s obviously manufactured wood… but it’s solid and the build was simple. I did use a rubber mallet to secure the actual internals as they fit very tight but I feel that’s a good thing as it seems like the thickness of the shelves is solid and will last. The one thing for me was the size of the cubbies… as you can see in the photo I couldn’t put both shoes in the hole, but I do wear a size 15EE. I knew this was a potential issue but it fit exactly where I needed it to and I would definitely buy again and recommend

It came 4 days earlier and looks just like the picture
It came super fast. Now from the description we thought it comes mostly built. That was not the case. It took both of my sons to put it together for me because it was heavy. They use a drill and hammer. This was not prepacked you must build this!!!!Now being heavy is a plus because of the durability but it’s not a easy build. It does have a little wobble and the backing seems cheap but only time will tell the durability!UPDATE:This is ok for kids people with extremely small feet. I’m a women and wear a size 9 and both of my shoes barely fit. And my husband doesn’t at all and he only wear a size 9.5mens. Slots are extremely small so this only get a 2 star. Plus this say prepackaged like it’s little to no assembly. That’s false yes you have to put this whole thing together.

Sturdy, beautiful – read here for instruction tips
Heavy as hell, so have two people carry it to whatever room you’re going to be setting it up in. Recommend having a decent amount of space to work in with all the parts.Packaging and protections were nice, I’ll add photos of those later. It is always irritating though when the first step of the instructions requires the piece at the very bottom. That’s an opportunity for the manufacturer.Putting together the frame of the unit was a breeze. Full transparency, I’m a pretty good handyman. It doesn’t recommend power tools, but I used an impact driver and a rubber mallet for speed, and I glued my dowels. Here’s the asinine part of the process: the cubby assembly. It recommends two people, and I don’t care if you have the seven flipping’ dwarfs. Don’t do what the picture shows. Stand the base unit UPRIGHT. Otherwise you’ll get frustrated with each of the cross-members slipping out. Better instructions here would be nice.On the final step I used three-quarter inch staples on a pneumatic staple-gun, but you don’t need pneumatic tools. An electric stapler or simple staple gun would be just fine – both super cheap at a hardware store. I find this easier than banging tiny nails with a hammer, risking hitting a finger – or worse the wood backing.Pro tip: I do recommend you use a blow gun to blow out the holes. There’s plenty of MDF dust left in there. If you don’t have an air compressor, no worries. Use a $3 can of spray air from any Walmart or hardware store. As far as damage reported in some other reviews, there was *slight* scuffing on one of the outside walls when it came to me – probably a manufacturing flaw on that one run – but that doesn’t bother me. It blends enough with the wood grain that you would never notice unless you’re looking for it (or put it together).Overall really sturdy piece of furniture, and it fits perfectly in the closet. BE SURE TO SECURE TO WALL!!

Not a one person job
So, I am newly alone, widowed, and I find that there are so many small things that I find to do in order to keep my mind from dark places. So, I attacked my shoe “issue.” First off, I am not a hoarder. I acquire far too many things, but am not resistant to getting rid of things I no longer use or wear. I have whittled my wardrobe back by about 50%. I have hard to fit feet (6.5 W) with a high instep and arches and I need support. When I find a pair of shoes that I really like aesthetically as well as in comfort, I don’t let go!So, what’s that got to do with this review? Not much really I guess. Just explaining that I may wear each of these pairs of shoes once or twice a year. They do bring me joy, just not daily. And, like a lot of people, shoe storage became a real issue, as I certainly don’t have a lifestyle that would support a shoe “room.” I already jimmied my wide closet into 2 smaller horizontal sections. I’ve tried so many racks and cubbies and bins. This one FINALLY did it for me.It’s very nice and I feel it is plenty sturdy especially where I have it. A few comments about comments I’d read:*It is NOT marked! That being said, it wasn’t too hard to figure out which piece was which. Go slow and steady and match the pieces with the inventory list.*It is freaking HEAVY! All flat packs are. So unless you really are alone in the world, ask for help.*My shoes fit easily with the left shoe (on its side) hell-out and the right heel-in and overlapping the left slightly. They would never fit sole-down side by side. It works for my shoes (see picture) but if you have big feet, This would be a risky purchase.*Make sure you measure the available width at SEVERAL points vertically. My first mistake was measuring the opening around the middle height-wise and not taking into account the molding and quarter round at the bottom. I almost yanked it out when my building buddy took a width measurement a bit higher and found that the closet was not square. Luckily, it fit into the other side, but we still had the molding problem. My buddy fixed that by building a small simple platform. All in all, for the price, this is a great piece and would only suggest STRONGLY that they label the parts.

One piece was drilled on wrong side
It was packed well & no damage from shipping but as a couple of the other reviews mentioned, one piece was drilled on the wrong side so the unfinished edge is on the front at the bottom of the shelf. It will be in my closet so it’s not as noticeable. I’m 53 yo female & put it together by myself. I was happy to be able to get my shoes off the floor. It’s a nice sturdy piece.

Not bad, cheap material
You do get a decent amount of storage but it only fits shoes, and if you’re anything larger than a child or a small woman/man it will be a tight fit for your shoes. The material is also of cheap quality, all mdf for $. Overall not a bad product, just not worth the money.

Beautiful
Beautiful and well made. (I made it) I chose it because it would take a smaller footprint in my garage. It was a pain in the butt to put the center dividers into the shelf shell. Kept falling apart. Had to go rouge and devise a new plan to shove it in white it was vertical. I got very grouchy but so happy once it was over. It’s beautiful and hold a lot. Doesn’t fit any heels or large sneakers. Holes are too small.

I like the height and length of this needed a shoe rack and it carries more than the 36 pairs depending on shoe style and size. If you need a shoe cabinet, get this. I’ve looked at it for 2 months. It isn’t expensive. I wish I hadn’t waited. Only problem is that I need another one or I need to donate some shoes. This was easy to put together. It may have taken me 30 minutes.

Exactly what I was looking for
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there were a couple of scuffs on the particle board and the finishing was coming off on the front. It seems to be pretty sturdy. I do wish I would have purchased wood glue to ensure it stays sturdy but I didn’t think about it until half way through assembly. Super happy with the product so far and I will likely purchase more products from this brand/company.
