The perfect affordable accent chair!
I bought the chair on the left 6 years ago and have used it as an accent chair in our last 2 homes. We moved again and decided it needed a buddy so we ordered a second one. This chair has held up flawlessly through years of being sat on and 3 moves. It’s very sturdy and firm. It’s an affordable chair meant to look pretty, but it’s actually pretty darn comfortable relative to other pretty accent chairs.

Excellent corner chair
Love this chair now that it’s put together. My husband did have to purchase two longer screws to complete the installation. Once he got those, it was straight forward. It is sturdy and has nice style. Lower star rating due to missing screws.

Great waiting room chair!
This chair is sturdy, looks modern and made of a nice quality wood. The seat is also wider than your regular accent chair and can accommodate different butt sizes. The cushion is pretty hard so it’s not a real lounger but maybe it’ll break in over time?

Good but could easily be better
While I do like the overall look, sturdiness and comfort, I think the manufacturer doesn’t uphold strong production standards or review before they ship. First of all, the instructions came printed out of order, and I mean front and back double sided pages were not collated correctly…. for both chairs I bought. The assembly descriptions were not great either, there were some pieces not addressed or pictures that didn’t mean anything to the actual product from what I can tell. Secondly, the wood only had lacquer on the sides that are visible; in which, might not be a huge deal normally but if you have your hands on the arm rest, what will naturally happen? Your fingers will curl around the armrest and touch the underside, and here it turns out to be rough and unfinished. Not a great feeling. Also, there are spots on the visible surfaces where the lacquer wasn’t applied well or didn’t dry quite right and it is also rough in these spots. Thirdly, the wooden pegs that are used to cover up where the screws are used either don’t quite fit or fall out easily. Lastly, the wooden dowels that are used to hold the front bottom cross beam to the legs of the chair are way too small for the holes so they don’t offer much security.Overall, if I was using this for a spare room in my house I wouldn’t mind, but I got these for my business and I am not sure if I will keep them at this point.

Beautiful design. Firm cushion.
This is a solid chair. Very sturdy and has a striking appearance. The assembly instructions are a little confusing and had some typos. However, after studying the photos and collecting my thoughts, I had the chair assembled in about 20 minutes. The chair is firm, the construction and material of the cushions seem to be nice quality, and wood is beautiful.

Higher quality than its price point would suggest
For $163 I’m quite impressed with these chairs. Packaging arrived via UPS in good shape, not torn up like many SAH Creatives furniture reviews mention. Inside the box the furniture had ample packaging and was overall in very good shape. I found just a couple dings but nothing major, the light damage looked to have originated from when it left the factory as the spots where I’ve seen any were well padded in the box. Assembly was a bit of a head scratcher thanks to the odd diagrams and broken English, ended up just winging it. With that said, assembly was fairly quick and not difficult, only required a Phillips screwdriver and 3/16 Allen key. The Allen key was included but a Phillips screwdriver is not. Much easier to assemble with a quality driver than their provided Allen key. The end result is solid. The cushions are quite firm but that makes for a more comfortable chair to sit in for a long period, the armrests are a bit low but that’s better than too high in my opinion. The cushions are a bit small so don’t expect a any support on your upper back or below mid thigh. At least that’s as far as they reach on me, 6’ and about 180lbs. Width is comfortable as well, not overly narrow, just wide enough for me to cross me legs without them pressing into the armrests. Stitching on the cushions is well done and the fabric was cut properly, no asymmetrical lines or shoddy craftsmanship to ruin the aesthetic. Overall very pleased with this product especially considering it’s price.

Seems legit but had mold
I purchased from SAH Creatives and it is the Baxton and is exactly as pictured. Was super easy to assemble, less than 30 mins. Definitely had mold (see pics). I wiped it down with vinegar water, hopefully it does not come back. If it does I will update this review. The pillow on it in the pics is 17” for size reference. 5 stars as long as the mold does not come back. I ordered the foot stool as well and will review it once I receive it.

Good basic chair. Adequate quality control, Easy assembly when the parts are there
We purchased two of these chairs and the first went together easily as all the parts were there. When the parts to assemble the other arrived it too went together well. But there is a huge crack where one leg joins the arm and I am not bothering to make a fuss as it took 10 days just to get the parts to assemble the second chair. I have been using the first chair for the last 10 days and it is sturdy and if not comfortable it is OK. It is not a chair to sink into with a book. It works as a cheap occasional chair.

Good quality and high style!!
This chair is super sturdy and very good quality. The wood on the arms is nicely finished in a warm deep honey tone and the cushion is a slate gray- I love the tailored look of the buttons! This chair does not look cheap at all in any respect! The cushions are a little firm, but perhaps with wear they will soften up- still comfortable for me at 5’4”. The seat is longer than the back but still good for those of us who sometimes struggle to reach the floor!!I’m very happy with this purchase. This is a steal for the money!! Good buy and a fashionable accent to the room! I didn’t realize it had the prop 65 CA warning. While there is no detectable smell at all…maybe I’ll set it outside for a while.

This chair looks great and was very easy to assemble but the cushions are ridiculously firm. There’s almost no give in them at all. Kinda feels like they’re filled with styrofoam.

3 years later and still happy
I bought this chair over three years ago and it’s moved with me twice since then. It’s sturdy, has held up exceptionally well, and gets more comfy over time. I didn’t use it a lot at first because it was a little stiff, but as I’ve used it more it has broken in nicely; more comfy but still study. I came back to buy another and had to leave a review. You won’t regret getting this chair if you’re going for a midcentury vibe. For the price you cannot go wrong; so much midcentury stuff is so expensive

Firm, yes, and also comfortable
This is a great chair. I agree with other reviewers that it’s very firm, but it really is comfortable. It’s surprising when you sit in it for the first time how firm it is, because it looks cushy, but it feels really good to sit in. It’s well-designed in seat height, back angle, and arm height. And it’s soft enough. It’s also very easy to assemble. Attach the seat to the back, attach the two arm/leg side pieces, and attach the front cross bar. NOTE: there is a fabric zipper flap on the underside of the seat you have to unzip to assemble the chair. I didn’t notice this at first, and couldn’t figure out from the illustration where I was supposed to screw the pieces together. But, as I said, it’s very easy to assemble — even for someone like me, who is obviously not very good at these things.

Lighter color in person
These chairs are amazing quality! Very stylish and sturdy. I do not have any complaints about the chairs themselves BUT they are overall lighter in color in person than the picture provided by the company and in reviews. Their true colors are hard to capture in a photograph but the grey material of the cushions is a hint lighter than expected from the photos and the wood portions are MUCH LIGHTER. They look to be a rich brown in photos… like a walnut or even lighter espresso brown. But they are in fact a “dark tan” color. Doesn’t look bad at all. Just not accurately portrayed in photos.

Different product than listed
I bought this exact product in 2018 and it was exactly as pictured in the listing. We just moved and have more space so I bought another one to complete the set – the item sent was a completely different shade of gray and not as pictured or as the one I got back in 2018. I contacted the seller and they apologized saying there are differences in how it’s made now and offered me money to keep it but I declined. I have to say I was very disappointed as the one I have is very nice and good quality. If the color wasn’t so different I would’ve kept it but had to return. Heads up that it is a lot lighter gray than the one in the listing.

Nice looking and sturdy.
I usually don’t buy assembly required furniture but decided to take a chance based on the reviews. The reviews were pretty much spot on. Not too hard to assemble but you’ll need two people. Sturdier and heavier than expected. Does not look like a “put together yourself” when done. Nice looking couch for the price. Not an everyday chair though. Looks great in our den.

Sturdy, nice looking, firm but comfy
These are surprisingly sturdy and well executed, and I have a bit of experience with cheap furniture! Fairly large, wide and deep, plenty of room. The cushions are firm, but to me, good for this style of chair- it’s not a la-z-boy sink into the cushions type thing, but still comfy. Wood parts look very nice, though finish is thin (some folks mention adding a little clear coat before assembly). Assembly is not too tough, though I recall the instructions being a little vague. You will need to drive three screws in which purposefully do not have holes pre drilled- these secure the seat to the frame and you’ll need a screwdriver and some elbow grease if you don’t have an electric drill. Also, unclear in the instructions, don’t tighten up the three bolts which join the bottom and back cushion units untill you get the thing mostly assembled. All in all, we enjoy these, they look nice, and are holding up well after a couple months. For the price, that’s pretty good. Other furniture in the same process range has not fared so well.

Quality assembly yourself chair.
The price was great as an SAH Creatives return for $129.00 and we could nothing wrong with this product when it arrived. Very sturdy construction and comfortable seat. At bit long in depth from the front to backrest, so consider this if you are shorter than 6’2″ and need the backrest closer to you. Most of my family are good with this chair for occasional use. It is not that comfortable for long term sitting and ready, but looks good in our greatroom and we have noticed the fabric cleans very easily. Certainly worth considering and it assembled very easily; I doubt instructions are even necessary for most buyers. Hope this helps.

Satisfied So Far
This is a very sturdy chair and I have high hopes that it will last a long time. The cushion is kind of hard, but I suspect it will soften over time. The challenge with this piece (as with most things needing assembly) is that the instructions are missing a couple of important details which could be solved with a couple of additional sentences. What text there is does contain several misspellings or using the wrong word completely…”tied” when it should be “tight” for example. It would be helpful if the instructions included “pull back the velcro on the underside of the cushion to access the holes for the bolts”. Secondly, if the instructions said “carefully cut a hole in the fabric between the staples on the rear of the cushion to allow the bolts to come through”, I could have saved 15 minutes scratching my head. After I figured these two things out, it was 10 minutes to put the chair together.

3 years later and still going strong
I bought a pair of these chairs just over 3 years ago and they’re still in good shape. They’ve stood up to a toddler and 2 big dogs climbing on them daily. Structurally they’re still just as solid as the day I put them together. One button came off within the last year but I was able to repair it. These were definitely a good buy.

Cute chair
For the price I think this chair is a good deal. The directions could have been better, but over all it didn’t take that long to put together and it looks great in my living room. Its sturdy but the chair cushions are very hard, so its not the most comfortable , but will do for extra seating .

Good but not that great.
It looks great, and the assembly wasn’t that difficult to follow. The directions provided could be a little clearer, there were some parts that were a little confusing. But simple enough to figure out with some critical thinking. I’ve had it for a little over a month, so far it has held up. The actual seat part itself, does seem a little flimsy. Not as sturdy as I initially assumed it would be. But overall, seems to hold. Will update if any changes.

Great value for the price!
It will take some time to get it broken in. The chair is pretty stiff out of the box. With that in mind, we love the look of this chair! Super easy to assemble. Great sleek lines. Beautiful wood tone that perfectly compliments the gray fabric. (Including close up of wood/fabric.)

It’s softer to sit on the carpet.
The brown color wood is a much lighter shade than pictured. The seat cushions are also super stiff, a punching bag is probably softer. The chair is semi sturdy, it hasn’t fallen apart yet but u can feel the pieces shift slightly if the chair is rocked. I had trouble figuring the instructions cause the left and right side of the armrest was mislabeled. Ikea has better instructions than what was provided for this chair. For now it just sits in the corner just to look pretty. Even my dogs are not interested. True comfort is tolerable if you add pillows…

Look great-nice Mid Century chair
Theses chairs look really nice. Solid construction. They are not soft and plush at all. As office lobby chairs they are perfect. Easy to assemble if you don’t follow the instructions provided but YouTube a video. The directions ateTERRIBLE. They make no sense at all and have useless illustrations No written words. Take the left and right stickers off with water before you assemble them. Also the left right indicates looking at the chair and not sitting in in. The bottom front cross board is a bit tricky with a holding bolt and long screw. This goes in last after both sides are on. Don’t over tighten the bottom and top cushions because they have to flex to assemble the bottom. You tighten everything last. On the front cross board line up the holding bolt first on each side and check to make sure the long screw goes in before trying to attach it. One of mine was not lined up properly with a big enough set opening and I had to work on it and hammer I it in before I could get it to thread and then take it out. Way easier to do first and than try to assemble and put it on. Hope that makes sense and helps you all. Watch a video first!

What the instructions really mean to say.
I really like this chair. The instructions are weird and don’t explain everything you need to do. For example, when you are putting the back of the seat and the bottom cushion together, there is only a picture, but you simply need to unzip the back side of the cushion to screw inside the seat cushions together! That would have saved me some time! The only other issue I have is that there are extra holes that look like you need to screw in, but you don’t. Overall, I really like the chair! It looks nice in my livingroom. I probably wouldn’t sit in it for long periods of time though, it’s on the stiffer side.

Good price to have!
If one wants to add one more piece of furniture into the existing home assets with a modern style, this chair would be one of the best for the price($117.21). The grey color is neutral and fits any room that possesses a particular color schema. The chair itself has weight, signaling a sense of the true furniture, and is constructed in solid wood with a sleek design style so called mid-century that roots from Bauhaus School (Germany) in design and architecture, emphasizing the functionality with clear geometrical shapes and clean, sleek lines, yet well engineered and sturdy when the chair assembled. Besides all those merits I observed, assembling this 5-parts chair, functionally, it is not hard for me though I read some comments from a few people complaining the not clear instruction while assembling the chair. To my opinion, the assembling process was very intuitive; I started the process by thinking of putting together the seat and (attaching) the back first, and then I made reference to the instruction by identifying the related hardware. When I had the back attached to the seat, the rest became very clear for what I needed to do continuously. I took one of the armrest and attached it to sides of the seat and the back by turning the seat and back side down and then, in order to set the horizontal beam on, I knew that I needed to have the other armrest attached to the sides of the seat and the back. Thus, I had the basic structure of the chair constructed, and the rest of the process became more intuitive and went on smoothly…. Try it and enjoy its great design and style!

Great chair but missing parts
I like this chair a lot. I got it when I realized that I needed another chair at home. It looks good, it’s very comfortable, and it’s quite sturdy. It’s also a good price and on par with something I would’ve gotten from Ikea. This chair would get five stars IF the package came with all the relevant parts. The package was missing a few small parts, like the little wooden knobs that cover up the screws in the chair. I could’ve asked the company to deal with it, but I didn’t feel like bothering with the hassle especially because other reviews have indicated that this was a common problem. So, if you’re looking for a good chair at a reasonable price that will be delivered to your front door but also might be missing some minor aesthetic pieces, then this is the chair for you.

What the heck
I’ve built many furniture pieces and have read the most annoying instructions in the world and have gotten the job done always. These instructions were not the most horrible I’ve seen but also not very descriptive. Mostly diagrams. For the life of me I can’t get the last screw to connect with the furniture connector cam. I feel like the hole was made too deep but whatever. I hate calling customer service. I bought it for an emergency situation as my mother was visiting and needed a chair for her to sit in for the guest bedroom. No time to return but it’s been holding up I guess, despite not being fully assembled. My 10 year old son sits in it; it wobbles, but it is what it is. Chair is cute and would be sturdy if I could get that to connect. I tried going to the hardware store to get a longer screw but unfortunately they said those screws are specifically sold with furniture only.

Yes- but you’ll cry.
I bought this chair for my mom to have in her room. She loves to sit and watch tv in her room and was previously using a folding chair. I really love the finish of the wood color, it looks just like the picture but better in person. My sibling put this together for her since I live out of state but informed me that it was a pain to put together. The type of pain that makes you want to cry and give up but, also, 🤷🏻♀️ “well, we’re here. Let’s keep going (reluctantly)” 😂 anyway, after some time they were able to put it together and from what they report it seems to be a sturdy chair. My mom is only 5’3 & about 100lbs so it’s the perfect size for her to add a pillow and blanket to sit for hours reading and watching tv.PS- the picture was sent to me the day after Christmas
