Great Chair!
I have been looking for a more ergonomic chair for a while. A lot of the other chairs claim to help with lumbar support but I would still find myself slouching and rounding my shoulders. When I sit in the kneeling chair my low back is automatically put into a more upright position and feels much better than slouching in a regular office chair. It is very comfortable and the padding is thick and good quality. The chair was easy to set up and arrived at my home quickly after ordering it.I would definitely recommend! Many of my family members tried mines out and now want their own.

I love this chair!
The chair I have been searching for my whole life 😍😍😍 sitting at my desk is no longer uncomfortable, it’s something I look forward too! I unfortunately don’t have the best posture and when I’m sitting in this chair I don’t have to fight my body to keep my back straight. The construction of the chair is solid and it’s aesthetically pleasing too!

This Chair & Company Are AWESOME
As a Chiropractor, I am always looking for things that will be helpful for my patients outside the office. Posture is a huge deal and so when I saw an ad for this I reached out to the company. They were super swift in getting back to me and even faster getting the chair to me in a color that I desired. It’s simple to put together – so says my hubby. 🙂 – and it has replaced my work desk chair. The rocking allows me to get a daily abdominal workout as well! I’m ready to purchase a 2nd one for my treatment area! Dr. Nicole Singletary VIM Chiropractic & Wellness Center

It really does work
So I have been having this lower back pain around the time COVID started (and I was working for home). I essentially attributed it to me doing some heavy lifting in the yard. I also did go to the Chiropractor but it did not improve. However, I learned about kneeling chairs and then I realized it could be my posture. I bought this chair and within a day, no kidding, my lower back pain was gone. So I confirmed it was my posture. I highly recommend the chair. I recommend to assemble it in an open space as there are many screws. Also if you have kids, assemble it when they are asleep so they don’t get into the parts :).

Nice chair
I’ve never used a kneeling chair before, but I spend a lot of time at my computer, so I decided to try this one.It went together pretty easily once I figured out the system. (The illustrations in the directions are small and were a bit confusing as a result.) All the parts are well made–definitely a cut above the usual flat pack furniture. Kudos to VILNO for including extras of all the hardware. The chair is comfortable to sit in, and I enjoy the rocking motion. The cushions compress a fair bit (which is noticeable because I’d been using one of those mesh chairs), and they have memory foam, but it’s not clear yet how the memory foam will function. Before I assembled it, I was wondering if it would be high enough for me to work at my desk, since there are no adjustments for height, but even though I’m short (5’3″), and my feet don’t reach the floor when I’m sitting in it, the height is fine, at least for me. (I don’t know how someone really tall will manage, though.)The only thing I wish I’d done differently is order the black instead of the gray. The gray fabric is kind of tweedy, which I hadn’t noticed in the photos, and I have cats. I wanted gray because I thought it would hide the cat hair better than the black (which would have looked better in my office), but the tweedy texture is exactly the kind of fabric cats like to claw. In fact, one of my cats was drawn to it even before I’d finished assembling it. Oh well…

Comfortable Seated Position
I’ve seen these before and wondered if they help with posture – I wonder no more! This was kinda sorta easy to put together. The wood planks get smaller in one direction and obviously they have to be put on in the right position. It’s easier to plop it on one side then screw in the planks and then flip to other side and finish. I tried to do it my own way… thankful for instructions haha. Once put together, it feels sturdy, and the cushions are generally comfortable. This helps my back stay straight. It doesn’t feel awkward to sit in. At first, it felt odd getting in and out of it until I got used to it. It’s not as small and compact as I envisioned, so you’ll want to double-check the dimensions if you’re tight on space. If you’re on the fence, check out the seller’s video. Ergonomic furniture usually has a high price tag, but I’m gonna say it’s worth the $249 (jaw dropper! Lol) if you sit all day and want better posture or suffer from back pain. I’m happy with this and would recommend to fam/friends/coworkers. Good product all together.

Easy to assemble | Great alternative to office chair
I was hesitant to order this chair and thought it wouldn’t work but surprisingly it’s actually really nice! My husband uses it throughout his day working at the computer. He switches between this and a regular chair. He has found that he hasn’t been struggling with neck tension as much and is happy with it. Definitely recommend!

Great kneeling office chair, easy to assemble
This Vilno chair is beautifully made — the wood components, the hardware, and the fabric all of good quality. It’s packed flat, and assembly is fairly simple: anyone who’s assembled Nordic kit furniture, will find this an easy job. The clear, thin-layered birch plywood frame is reminiscent of Nordic furniture too. A few of the threaded barrel inserts needed to have their threads loosened up by running the bolt throught them, but the hardware is generally of excellent quality too. A driver speeds up the process of assembling it.My one reservation is that this chair is considerably more expensive than what look like nearly identical competitors, though that may be the price of higher quality components.Unfortunately, I think this chair isn’t for me: the sideways pressure on my right knee (problematic for the past few years) is increased when I sit in this chair, which rules out using it as my go-to office chair. It’s remarkably comfortable, I must say, more comfortable than I would have thought, but will likely be used mostly by the younger members of the household. A great chair, but one designed for those more flexible than I.

Getting in and out isn’t as easy as it looks but it feels great while you’re sitting
VILNO Ergonomic Kneeling Office Chair – Rocking Home & Work Wooden Computer Desk Chairs, Back & Neck Spine Pain, Better Posture, Ergo Knee Support Stool, Cross Legged Sitting (Black)I was apprehensive but this is very comfortable, once you’re in it. Great for your back and knee pain and it helps with your posture. Not 100% sure about the safety of it if you’re recovering from a surgery or elderly as it is a tiny bit unstable until you’re in it but while I’m under the senior citizen genre (but not for too much longer) I will be using it.

Wife loves it…
My wife loves sitting on this chair and reading books while rocking. The chair promotes proper posture and gives you a little workout if you rock it. My wife and I have no problems using it but I have noticed that as a guy I think more of my body weight is higher than hers and we have found that there is a point where if you lean or rock back too far you will go over, and with your legs locked in you are too, and I am able to hit that point way easier than she is. Not really something I’d consider a problem, just something to be aware of. Overall though the chair went together well, seems to be holding up, and is liked. Overall we’d recommend it.

Sturdy
Nice kit feels very solid. Easy to put together. Had it assembled in about 35 min. Comes with extra hardware. Hardware was good but shows wear quickly. Chair works well for even taller person and seat cushions were nice and thick. Would recommend.

Wow
Perfect chair for the desk/office. Looks awesome. Super easy to assemble. Feels amazing. I don’t have the best knees anymore, and was a little worried about this, but it works perfectly. Very happy with this. Good price for a great alternative to the traditional office chair.

How I got rid of my lower back pain
Little back story: back in my late 20s I worked from home and I was on a night shift. For about 2 years straight I developed a bad habit of working while lying down in bed. This caused me back pains and still hurts til today.Fast forward to now, having a more ergonomic work setup and having a sit stand desk helped relieved the pain. But I think I found the chair that will complete this space.I found out about Nobel Kneeling Chair and I have been using this chair for about 4 weeks and I have to say it has really helped ridding me or at least reducing my back pain problem. The Kneeling chair promotes a proper sitting position when you use it. It helps you keep your back straight for long periods of time. And the rocking motion (yes it’s also doubles as a sweet rocking chair) engages your core and let’s you do mini exercises while working. The build quality is really good as well! The wood and cushion feels premium to me. But make sure to visit their website to follow the instructional video to build the chair. It helps a lot!If you are looking for THE ergonomic chair, make sure to check this one out.

It for more than kneeling
The Nobel kneeling chair was easy to set up (about a10 minutes) with the tools and screws included. The chair could hold my 6’4, 340lb frame and the thick cushions made sitting pretty comfortable. I sat in different positions besides kneeling. That’s the best part of this chair; it allows you to fidget and move in any comfortable position.

Nice Ergonomic Chair
I like that the cushions are big and soft which makes sitting for longer periods more comfortable. I also enjoy that it is able to rock back and forth to allow me to change positions easily to take pressure off my back. I work from home and sit for long periods of time so I need a nice chair to allow me to focus and get my work done.

Surprisingly comfortable
Item comes in a nicely marked box, so would be good for gifting. Assembly is required. Everything is individually wrapped for care during shipping. The legs are a nice polished wood. The cushions are thick, but seem to be more foam than memory foam. The instructions are on one page and the drawings are a bit small. I did not find assembly overly intuitive at first. It took me a few minutes to figure out. You need to make sure the crossbars are in the right spot and facing the correct way. When you insert the metal nut into the crossbar holes, do one at a time. Everything is screwed in with an allen wrench, which is included. As someone else noted, a couple of the metal nuts needed to have their threads loosened up by running the bolt through them first. There is one extra screw, nut and dowel in case you are missing anything. Instructions state to keep the allen wrench near the chair, as you will need to tighten screws during the first month of use.It is a little awkward when you first sit down. Because of the rocking feature, you feel like you are going to fall forward or backward, but your body eventually figures out the balance needed. I definitely feel like my hips are thrust forward and I sit up straighter. I find myself rocking in it constantly, which is great movement for the body, when you’re normally in a sedentary position. The legs and knee cushions flex some, which I was initially concerned about, but seem to be sturdy. I like having them separated so I can step my feet in to get up/sit down, or simply to stretch my legs down the middle. I could see having knees bent for long periods of time could be problematic for those with knee issues, but the knee cushions are comfortable. It is surprisingly lightweight, so easy to move from place to place. I often work in different areas of my home, so being able to take it from my desk to the kitchen table is appreciated. I’ve even taken it up and down stairs with ease. There is no matting on the bottom of the legs, so it will slide around on tile or hardwood. Because the wood is smooth, I haven’t noticed any scraping on the hardwood, but be wary.It does appear to be a bit pricey compared to competitors, but I would recommend.

Comfortable Ergonomic Office Chair
I’ve always been curious about this type of chair but never got one. I am so glad I ordered this! It was easy to put together and to my surprise, very comfortable. My back feels so much better with this and it really helps to improve my posture. My only complaint is I wish the knee pads were one solid piece instead of individual. I feel like I will fall over sometimes but that could just be me.Overall a great chair and I highly recommend this 👍.

improved posture and comfort with a few considerations
The kneeling chair significantly improved my posture and providing relief from back and neck strain. The ergonomic design of the kneeling chair has helped me maintain a more upright and natural posture while working, reducing strain on my back and neck. Transitioning to the kneeling position may take some time to get used to. It might not be suitable for everyone, especially those with certain knee or mobility issues.

feels good so far
Since I started having pain from sitting so much at my desk, I decided to look into a better way of sitting. After some research, I came up with this chair. It arrived fast and was very easy to assemble. I have tried it out for a little over an hour now and I have to say that it does feel very nice on my back. I feel like I sit up straighter and my back isn’t slouched as much. It will take a little time to get used to this chair, like any other new chair, but I really think it will work out great for me.

Interesting
Very sturdy, can be a pain to assemble. Bring patience and extra Allan wrenches. Kinda low of the comfort side as the cushion for your seat isn’t very wide. I found myself adjusting frequently

Get Lower Back Pain from Vilno
Really good for my concentration especially for long periods of time. Open hip position is good for super flexible legs. Usually I’m sitting on my Vilno for hours at a time. If my back is not completely straight or if I’m rocking for awhile I feel a lot of pressure on my lower back causing pain. Otherwise really solid, comfortable product that helps me lock in for work.

Changing it up
This chair is great for changing up your seating position if you work a desk job. You’ll definitely notice that you’re using different muscles. My back hurt after using, but only because of using muscles I don’t normally use. Definitely worth getting

Rebuild your posture
Back in the 1980’s I sat in a similar chair while typing away at an early model consumer grade computer and I thought, “This is a futuristic chair… Why aren’t more chairs like this?”Now in my 40’s, I realize the benefits of sitting up straight while working at my desk. It makes it much easier to stand up and stretch after sitting for an extended period.Compared to an office chair, there is much more ability to move around and keep the core activated and flexible. The cushioning is thick and comfortable. I made a conscious decision to position my body in the same way every time to make sure that I am forming the cushion in a way that’s best for my posture. The separate leg pieces flex some, but are sturdy. I like that they are separate because it seems safer than if they were connected because it gives another place to step in or out if you need to adjust your balance or position.I received this right when I was beginning to write a 10 page research proposal and through the process, I was noticeably more comfortable and more upright and alert than when I write while sitting in my regular office chair. This is a very comfortable, very good looking chair. It was easy and intuitive to assemble, though the instructions could be clearer.I love it!

Not for me
It came so close to being a great product, but I think it’s really missing by not having one knee pad instead of two.For what it’s worth, I’m 5’8″. Sitting in this made me feel like I had to spread my legs for it to fit, and if I moved them out of place, they would fall off. Not being able to shift around to the left or right isn’t practical for even 5 minutes for me in this chair, let alone all day. If they had only one pad where my legs wouldn’t fall off, it would have been great.
