Well designed, easy to assemble, fun play toys
This set is surprisingly well thought out and manufactured. All assembled with screws using predrilled holes that fit together well. The pieces are nicely shaped and sanded and the designs are attractive and result in good toys. Since the toys are pretty much good for kids from 3 – 7 years, the assembly relies on the adult to follow the directions and drive the screws. But it’s quick and engaging and kept several grandkids happily participating until they could play with the toys – which they all happily took home with them. A real holiday plus. Downside – the stickers don’t adhere well to some of the curved bare wood surfaces – be prepared to glue them down with something more powerful.

Real nice set!
My grandson is having fun and the pieces are sturdy enough to actually play with after assembly. At 6 yrs. he has been able to construct by himself with a little direction. Easy enough to not get frustrated but still teaching motor control. Our 3 yr. old wants to play with the helicopter sooo bad. The stickers don’t stay to well probly because wood is very smooth but they look awesome while on!

Great for small kiddos!
If you’re debating between this one and one with nails for your small child, I suggest this one. These have screws and are simple enough instructions that my 5 year old could figure out all by himself! My 7 year old couldn’t put together the one with nails and I may buy this one for him as well. Super fun, took a little time which is ok, and turned out great!

Miss packed
All though the product was well made …was to be 3 different projects….we received 2 of house and 1 truck. Didn’t complain cause kiddos enjoyed putting anything together just thought I’d let you know.

Ages posted are not accurate
Kit is built well but be aware this is too complex for a 3 year old. Should be 5+.

Really nice set, but pricey.
I’m torn with this product. I really genuinely love this set, and so did my boys (ages 6 and 8). It’s high quality and seems like it will last.My biggest issue with it is the price though. If you’re near a big box home improvement store, they have *free* monthly woodworking crafts. You will also receive an apron and a pin that matches the craft project. It is only one product per month, but they are about the same size as one of the kits that come in this box. This product is twice as expensive. Granted, the price point is my ONLY complaint with this product, but it’s a pretty big one considering other options out there for kids.If you don’t mind the price and want a nice set in a box for gifting purposes, this really is a great option. In every way besides price we all thoroughly loved these!

Good quality and Fun
The pieces are made of thick and light weight woods and easy enough for the 8 year old kid to assemble. Also the colors of the stickers are very good. Very engaging and creative toy

So much fun!
Okay this was such a cool project I did with my 3, 4, and 10 year olds. Everything is super organized, the instructions are super clear and concise and easy to read. My only complaint, is that this is advertised for kids as young as three, but in order to screw these in all the way, you need a lot of help as a lot of kids won’t have the strength even if they have the coordination to screw it in so parents will need to assist throughout the entire thing. Which is totally okay and expected, I just thought I would mention that as my kids kind of lost interest since I had to be such a huge part of the process with them when they wanted to do it on their own. Overall though, this is so cool and they had so much fun building these.

7-year-old Grandson loves these
My Grandson started building the old truck in this set the moment he opened this set,…he was so excited to get started. The pieces are very nice quality and cut accurately. (perfect thickness) It was the first time he’s ever built anything using screws and he really loved that part. Needless to say, he is very proud of his build and can’t wait to get started on the others. I’m sure the birdhouse will be last because he’s crazy about vehicles. This is a great set that will offer many hours of entertainment, especially for a boy but girls should like it too. Good value.

Great woodworking kit that contains three projects; all with predrilled screws
We have three grandsons who love working with their Papa in his workshop. We love these little kits that allow the kids to create projects on their own. This set includes three projects: bird house, tow truck, and a dump truck. Perfect for the three boys! The kits are made with predrilled countersink holes and come with flat head screws. This set is perfect because it will allow them to practice using their little battery operated screwdrivers. The 1/4” wood is nicely finished and sanded. The kits includes decorative stickers which the grandkids added and covered all the screws. We were very pleased with the instructions. Nice and clear with illustrations; even out youngest was able to find which screws were needed for which steps. The kids had a blast and love their final products! The trucks and bird house are so cute!

Great DIY project for kids!
This is a great DIY project for kids. They’ll love building their own toy and feel accomplished after they are done building it. The instructions are very clean and the step by step is easy to follow. My 5-year-old boy was able to build it with a little help from his older brother. It’s really cool how they look at the end with stickers and all.

Great for the Right Age
We got this for our “hands on” 5 year old for Christmas. He loved it. Wanted to build all of them on the first day. We made him pace it out a couple days. He did need a little help with the directions. We also helped some with putting pressure on the screws for the first few turns.

Grandson Loved It
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. We made them together. I am not sure he would have been able to do it on his own but with my guidence he did just fine. We will now move on to bigger things in the woodshop.

Yes and No
This is a really nice set. I bought the Helicopter- Jeep Set for my seven year old grandson. It is made with quality wood, nice and smooth with well matching parts and perfect stickers. So, what was the problem? Our smart capable seven year old is short on patients even on a rainy day. Even with adult help, I think this is better suited for 10 and up unless the adults wants to play all by himself. Lol. Anyway, great toy for a more mature child.

Happy with this purchase
I bought this kit for my handicapped son. With assistance, he was able to build theses projects and felt very proud of his accomplishments. They were simple enough, and yet still made him feel “manly”using power tools (battery operated screwdriver). The only disappoint we had, was that there isn’t another kit with different items to build. We’d buy them all if there was!!
