Great for creating appetizers
I entertain family and friends quite often, and these bamboo skewers are great for creating attractive appetizers for us to snack on before dinner. I can alternate cheese cubes and cherry tomatoes, or whatever other veggie is at hand. More substantial than regular toothpicks, they are sturdy and smooth, with no splinters, and lots of room for bite-sized snacks. Although the package of 300 skewers is going to last a while, I would buy them again.

Great for labelling sandwiches and other foods
After having no luck with large toothpicks, we decided to try these wooden paddled picks, and happy we ordered them. The picks are a nice length so they’ll pierce sandwiches of varying sizes. The wood is very sturdy…. I had to use some strength to break one in half. And the wide paddle end is ample enough to write on, which is very handy when you want to identify a type of sandwich. Would be wonderful for marking gluten free items. The pack of 300 will go a long way too. Great value for the money.

Perfect for entertaining

Perfect for parties!
These bamboo skewers are perfect for parties and hor d’oeuvre tables. We used them for our holiday party and they are so much nicer and easier to use than regular toothpicks. The flat top makes them easier to grab. The length makes them useful for even larger hor d’oeuvres and the sturdiness of the bamboo means you can use them for larger and heavier hor d’oeuvres without any problems.

My Wife Likes These
These are great for drinks and small kebabs, my wife is getting lots of ideas for using them. For once, something on the internet was physically bigger than expected, and you get a bunch for the cost. We will order more!EDIT (from wife): I really like the size because these are great for everything from martini olives to burgers to stuffed jalapeno peppers, but they are not too big if you are doing something smaller, like bacon wrapped dates. I had these cooking at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes and 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes and they did not burn at all (no pre-soaking). The only think I would change is that the pointed end is up when you open the resealable bag, so you have to be careful not to stab yourself.

Great Skewers Almost Endless Uses!
These are great skewers with so many uses. I often find the squared shaft ones hard to find here locally and they are needed to keep the food from spinning when trying to turn the skewers on the grill. These work best when you can put your meats and vegetables on separate skewers as things get done at different times. No more overcooked meat waiting or veggies to get done or vice versa. The length is perfect. These are also great for your cocktails from Bloody Mary’s with all the fixings attached to a stir stick with a lime wedge attached for a margarita.These are sturdy and can also be used for holding bacon wrapped on other meats as they work well for that.Garden marking stakes, the applications are limitless. Great value at the price buy with confidence!

Bigger Than Expected
I thought I might be able to use these as cocktail skewers but they are much too big for that. These are meant to spear an extra tall sandwich or burger, or to string larger items like chunks of cheese, salami, or cherry tomatoes for hors d’oeuvres. The skewers themselves are thicker than they appear in the seller’s photos, and also much less flexible than is shown. The spears are rounded on one side and flat on the other (kind of like an igloo-shape if you look at it from the pointed end) which helps it to hold most foods firmly so you don’t have to worry about cheeses or meats spinning around on it.I like that it’s made of a sustainable material, and I’ve noticed that bamboo doesn’t have the same splintering issues that wood can have. I’m guessing they will need to be well soaked in water if used as barbecue skewers, but overall these skewers are well made and I can see many potential uses for them.

Sturdy with no splinters
These picks are large and sturdy. They remind me of the good quality disposable chopsticks that you get with take out. The picks are very smooth with no splinters. These are great for large food like burgers and sandwiches. These are perfect for my caprese skewers. These come in a thick ziplock bag so it won’t easily puncture the bag and spill all over.

Much Nicer Than Expected
These are solid toothpicks. You could use it to grab your food and then as your cutlery. They’re smooth, no wood slivers anywhere. 300 of these bad boys is A LOT more than 300 of a regular toothpick, so don’t plan on popping them in a regular toothpick holder.

Quality Bamboo Skewers
I ordered the 4.7” for some antipasto skewers. The 4.7” is definitely too short. That size would be good for a mozzarella, basil, tomato skewer. I haven’t received the 6” yet but I know that’ll be the perfect size for what I’m doing.I took a photo next to some usual household items so that you can tell how long the 4.7” is.
