After a long search for a porch table, I chose this since it could also be used as an extra seat—I was thinking for grandkids, and they fit so well with our not a cabin but a woodsy style location. I ordered two and they were so much like the picture I thought they might not be real wood…but they are. They have a smoothed finish (no rough spots to catch clothing), are well made and VERY sturdy—even seating a full size man. Once I started using them, I ordered two more and hoped to get some with a different character. I suspected something from the warehouse might be different [returned because it wasn’t like the picture] and happily they were. There’s no damage, but one “may” have been returned because a piece needed to be added to form the third leg. And, different real wood character is what I was looking for. Pics1 & 2 are the 4th stool with the added leg piece. Pic 3 is the 3rd stool with a little bit different shape.

Love this stool, which I actually bought 2 and used for bedside tables for a low-profile bed. Sturdy and great organic look. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the packaging. They are shipped without proper packaging like bubble wrap or foam to safeguard them from damage, so one of mine were cracked through the leg when I received it. They did send a replacement out quickly though and sending back the damaged one was made easy.

The media could not be loaded. We love it! This is adorable and sturdy. I needed a little table for these chairs we have that sit low to the ground. It wouldn’t be practical for a regular height sofa. It’s perfect and very well put together. The details indicate it is a cedar stump but that is not American cedar. It’s pale and odorless, made in China. Great value for the price. Imo

I love these stumpy little wood stands. They’re perfect for use as my speaker stands. They do have a tiny bit of wobble on carpet so I don’t recommend using them as any kind of step stool. Not sure why anyone would do that, but I’m sure people try to.Overall I am happy with the finished product and uniqueness of each piece. I can rotate periodically to get a change in view also when I feel like it.They’re fairly short(stumpy) for use as an end table of any kind near a couch or chair but perfect for what I needed them for.

Love the look! It’s low, about 13 inches off the ground but I like the low profile. Some parts of the wood are thin underneath so I wouldn’t be rough with it, but its sturdy level when used as a foot stool.

I got two of these for a little garden party we had and virtually everyone commented on them. They were a real hit. They’re heavy, nicely sanded and they have a high quality sable-like feel to the finish. I mean, these are just well done and will likely become heirlooms for several generations. They’re just not the kind of thing to ever be deemed ‘junk’.

have had this for months now and as am happy now as when it was unpacked. It is very good-looking and well made. started out as a side table and became a foot stool when I injured my ankle and is currently serving as a plant stand. I gave it a 5 stars over all because it has served well everything i have tried using it for. Also 5 stars for sturdiness, come on its a very decorative tree stump. only 1 star (and this is not a bad thing) simply because it is a heavy weight. Nothing light about it for its size. Finally only 4 stars for value it is not cheap but I do believe it is worth the price paid. If I had a use for another I wouldn’t hesitate to get one.

We use this stool as a low night table beside our kids’ toddler beds and as a stool to sit on beside the bathtub as the kids take their bath. I was a little nervous ordering this because whenever an item is like “each one is unique” it’s always a gamble as to whether you’ll like the “uniqueness” 😉 of the one you actually receive, LOL! However I can honestly say that the stool we received is even more gorgeous than the photos here (I need to upload one of ours!) The color is richer, warmer; and the finish on it is so smooth, so soft – it isn’t an icky shiny varnish-ey finish, it’s like a muted more satin touch and feel. We’ve had it for a couple of years now and I just thought, you know what, time to review this! I hope the latest ones are still of the same quality but our has held up amazingly well, being moved all over the house. The one thing to keep in mind is that because of the natural shaping of the base, it isn’t as sturdy as a traditional 4-legged stool or whatever, so don’t plan on standing on this to change lightbulbs 😉 but that’s not what it’s for anyway. It’s totally great as a low sitting stool, footstool, or even night-table (totally sturdy enough for a lamp or books etc.) It’s a totally gorgeous piece that friends always notice when they visit and are like OMG LOVE THAT!

This is a piece of art. Everyone that comes to visit notices it and raves about it. I have it in between two French armchairs upholstered in genuine suede cowhide in our Santa Fe garden room. It has an orchid in an Asian pot on top and looks exquisite.On a different table on the other side of the garden room, I have a smaller version of this table with a huge jungle pothos sitting on top of it. Together, they make quite a beautiful sight.

I had a little doubt going in, due to a few reviews saying they’d received damaged or that it wasn’t what the expected. I will say the packaging didn’t offer much in the way of protections (all the little bits of cardboard meant to hold it in place had falled to the bottom of the box), but the stool was in perfect condition all the same. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Very well made. I got it for our bath, to hold a basket of hand towels, or move next to the tub for those relaxing soaks. This is going to get a lot of compliments and be around for many years to come. Super happy with my purchase!

This is my 2nd purchase of this stool. My first is beautiful and it just over 14″ tall. The one I received today is just over 12″ tall, that’s 2 inches smaller. I wanted to be able to sit on it in the garden for a short retreat. I can’t do it with this one. The other I use as a side table in the garden. I was able to switch them, but for $80 and not even being the correct height, I am disappointed. I will keep it since the carving is beautiful.
