Great way to learn
Bought this to teach my 18 month old her shapes and colors and she assembles it so easily and perfect size for her. Really like it!

Nice Puzzle
You’ve probably seen a puzzle like like this at any store carrying toys and games for kids. It’s a very straightforward puzzle geared for toddlers who are still learning shapes, colors and fine motor skills. The knobs on each piece are a good size to help little hands maneuver into place. It’s also nicely made and packaged.

Perfect for 1 year old
This is perfect or my 15 month old. The shapes are a good size and it has knobs to help with pincher finger practice. The colors are vibrant and it’s pretty sturdy as I have accidentally stepped on these quite a few times and none of the knobs have broken off

It’s exactly what it looks like
This is a simple color and shape peg puzzle. Nothing fancy. But it doesn’t need to be. It’s got a smooth finish, bright colors, a good variety of shapes, the name of each shape is even printed in the recess. it’s a good simple puzzle for very littles.

Learn Colors and Shapes!
There are so many great things about this puzzle!Well made with bright colors that coordinate with the proper pieces. The little handles on each puzzle piece helps to position it into the slots and improve dexterity. It builds color recognition, shape recognition and even has words to grow vocabulary.Such a wonderful learning tool for toddlers. Excellent craftmanship, like toys from the 1960s.It would make a great gift too.

Wish I got this sooner!
Do you ever struggle with a needy toddler while trying to cook dinner? If you do, then get this puzzle, like now. Honestly I wish I got this sooner so I could have cooked in peace sooner! The first time I brought this out, my toddler sat down and played with this puzzle for a good chunk of time, which is amazing considering he is always somehow extra needy when I’m cooking. I usually turn on a show for him to keep him away from the kitchen, but this puzzle did the job for me!I would probably recommend this puzzle for toddlers around 15-18 months. My son is 21 months and he pretty much mastered the shapes, so it’s really easy for him now to complete the puzzle. But I think if I started earlier, he would enjoy it for longer. Just my thought!I also loved how smooth the puzzle is. Often times, I find splinters on the sides of wooden things like toys, but the sides are all smooth on this puzzle. Quality is great and the shape pieces don’t feel flimsy at all.As a bonus, these puzzle pieces can also double as a spinning top, which my son is obsessed with. I’ve already gotten so much use out of this puzzle that I’m now looking into alphabet and number puzzles. 5/5!

Good puzzle for toddlers
It’s a good learning puzzle for young toddlers who are starting to match and place objects into similar sized shapes. Good activity for introducing shapes and colors, and exercising hand-eye coordination. The knobs on each wooden puzzle piece are nicely finished and not rough to the touch. The puzzle piece shapes are a little thin (3/8″ inch). We’ve had similar puzzles that were twice the thickness. Overall, a good puzzle.

My toddler loves it!
We love everything about this puzzle! My toddler is learning his colors and shapes and really is having fun with this puzzle. He will tell me what color each shape is and we practice the names of the shapes! It’s wood. It will last forever.

Perfect for my 18 Month old
My family lives the Montessori lifestyle, so this puzzle is perfect for our 18 month old daughter. She plays with this puzzle quietly until she finishes, and then she parades around showing everyone proudly what she has accomplished. The puzzle and its pieces seem very durable, and are safe for toddler playtime. My daughter tested the durability through several scientific tests to include throwing, chewing, and even hide an go seek (we found the missing piece.) We are very happy with this puzzle, it may end up being one the toys we keep around for grandchildren in the future.

Perfect Shape Puzzle
This puzzle is excellent! It is very high quality – the wood is sanded smooth with no rough edges to snag little fingers and the paint is beautiful and glossy with no chips. The pegs on each shape are the perfect size for small hands to hold. Each shape has its name printed on the base, and they are all spelled correctly. I especially appreciate that the puzzle says “rhombus” and not “diamond”. This puzzle is perfect for fine motor skills, spatial cognition, as well as shape and color recognition (there are two puzzle pieces of each of the 6 primary & secondary colors). Definitely a new favorite in our house!

Well made shapes puzzle!
Love the wood quality of this puzzle! As well as the little wood knobs on each piece that are perfect for little hands and works that pincer grasp perfectly. The added bonus of having the shapes named under each piece as well as the matching color to the puzzle piece are really what set this apart for me. It is a great puzzle for not only my 1 year old but my 4 year old as well and for us to all play together because as my youngest is working on the motions and skills of the puzzle and starting to grasp color matching and recognition – my oldest can assist him in this as well as learn his shapes and shape recognition. So all around really great addition to our puzzle collection!

Nice quality, perfect for my 2 year old!
I ordered this shape puzzle to work on colors, shapes and dexterity with my 2 and 4 year olds. My 2 year old loves to take the pieces out and put them back in. He also likes to say the colors. I will work on the shapes with him, too. This puzzle is too simple for my 4 year old, but it’s nice practice for the shapes. The puzzle is thick and feels nice quality. This would make a great gift, too!

Very good quality, baby proof!
I was very happy with the quality of the puzzle. It’s a 12” x 9” piece of plywood nicely finished with insets for 12 different shapes. Each shape is painted with a tough paint that I couldn’t chip or scrape, (important for teething kids). The handles to lift the shapes are tightly attached, no movement or turning takes place so I don’t have to worry about a choke hazard. The plywood has clean soft edges with no chance of splinters. The shapes are also plywood, just under 1/4” thick and are study enough not to break. An added bonus is that each shape is named in the inset (“Trapezoid!, Rhombus!) great for the shape challenged and probably the one feature that tipped the scale in me wanting it. There are 3 different opportunities for my child to learn and grow with the puzzle: Shapes, Colors and Words.

Beautiful puzzle
Great quality and very smooth. Everything is literally perfect on it. No scuffs or paint chips or the paper at the bottom gets stuck to the puzzle piece. I’m absolutely thrilled with this puzzle. 12/10!

Nice puzzle for 1 year olds
Colors are bright and as pictured. Pieces are smooth as is the background. Knobs are well attached (kids thought they were pacifiers, but hey). Shape names are spelled correctly. Good puzzle for teaching shapes & colors & encouraging a pencil grip on the knobs. Very pleased.

Well-crafted
This is the one shape puzzle your little one probably needs! It’s very thorough, perfectly crafted, and light-weight. I literally did not find any flaw. My daughter found it a little too easy, but there are always ways to extend the life of this toy by practicing vocabulary, drawing, and more. High quality puzzle!

I am impressed!!!
The media could not be loaded.
There is a total of 12 different shapes in this wooden peg puzzle. All the shapes are colorful and easy to work with. It has a smooth finish and edges. It is lightweight. Apart from Shape recognition, this peg puzzle can be used for color sorting, color matching as well as reading. They have the printed name of each shape at the bottom of each shape which is good for preschoolers as they start reading. Overall I liked this product. This is good for Montessori at home or in the classroom.
