These are Stout, Useful, and Easy to Install
This set is going to be great for my husband to help with existing shelves making them tougher, steadier, and able to hold more items with confidence. Heavy duty is right.
These are big and heavy. The finish is perfect. They came individually wrapped to protect the finish. They also came with every kind of hardware you might possibly need to mount them and even a tiny little level bubble, so you have no excuse to hang a crooked shelf. I love that they can go with the bracket exposed or hidden behind the shelf.

Very Solid
I’ve installed a number of “floating” type brackets in the past, and these are among the better ones I’ve used. First, note that the brackets aren’t completely hidden. Regardless of how you install them, some portion of the bracket will be visible. In my case, see picture, the exposed part was on the bottom of each shelf and virtually invisible because the shelves were so low you would have to lie on the floor to see them. You can buy other brackets that are completely hidden, but they are more expensive and much more difficult to install.That caveat aside, These brackets were rock solid, came with a quality collection of fasteners for most wall types, and were a breeze to install. If they fit your aesthetic, I would recommend these.

Nice and heavy material.
I am using these for a floating shelf over a fireplace and on a wall for a large smart TV. I like that I was able to flip them so that you can not see the wall plate and screws that are hid behind the rough cut oak shelving I acquired. The brackets are made of a nice and thick steel that will support my desired weight easily and safely.

Solid brackets
Brackets are well made and solid. Shipping box was pretty heavy so you know it’s not cheap brackets. Basic installation as with any brackets and hold a lot of weight. Love not having that tail hanging down below the shelf like the old school brackets. Recommend these for a nice solid shelf.

Phenomenal product!
Okay, I’m really struggling to find anything that I don’t like about these brackets. First, there’s no downplaying it, these things are SOLID. I don’t think anything’s bending these; your wall studs will break before these bend. Second, I love what comes with it: you get some beefy screws as well as two types of anchors (drywall and masonry). On top of that, you even get a tiny level to use for making sure the brackets are straight. Finally, the directions are really clear and even tell you the sizes of holes for each anchor. Absolutely great product!

Heavy Duty
These are a lot heavier duty than I was expecting. They mount on the bottom so I dont consider them to be floating shelves, but I have a use for strong shelves in my garage. For this purpose they work great. I have about 100lbs easy on these. I mounted them on a plain pine board, and they work great. At its current price, it is about half the cost of ones I have bought at the big box stores, so they are a excellent value as well. Great Product!~

These look to be very heavy duty. I plan to make simple shelves by attaching these brackets to the studs in our wall and using 1”x10” tung oiled pine boards for a somewhat rustic appeal.

nice heavy duty brackets
These shelf brackets are heavy, sturdy, and have a nice powder-coated surface. I like it that the mounting hardwares are included, both for drywall and concrete wall. During installation, one of the plastic expansion screw broke, causing damage to my drywall and I had to fix that. I predrilled the wall and rest of the installation was fine. So more likely, it is a quality issue.Overall, I would purchase this set again.

Great beefy brackets
Got the 10” brackets and am really impressed with not just how thick and robust they are—it’s a single piece of metal without any welded joints that may eventually break—but if you’re using a shelf that’s thick enough, these become virtually invisible. We’re remodeling and haven’t hanged these yet but know exactly where they’re going and am really looking forward to hanging some nice, thick 2” shelves. Oh, and they do come with screws and hardware.

Very sturdy and looks nice
These are very sturdy heavy duty brackets. These are the 8″ brackets, and you get 6 in the box. You also get two different types of wall anchors and screws to mount the shelf. Best if you can mount to a stud. Depending on the shelf size, the bracket can be nearly invisible. They will always visible from the bottom, but that would only be an issue if you mount a high shelf. If you are making your own shelf board, you could always router out part of the board and recess the brackets into it. For me that wasn’t an issue.

Sturdy and Beefy brackets!
I used these in our kitchen to hold up some 3/4in 8″x36″ wooden shelves. They do an outstanding job. I have them secured each to a stud so they can easily hold up a decent amount of weight. We’re storing a few cast iron skillets on ours.I’m very happy with these brackets!

Thick, strapping shelf brackets perfect for home projects
These shelf brackets are as sturdy as they come. They measure 3/16″ of steel, and with 4 side-mounting holes, you can expect them to carry a heavy load. Plus, they include lots of mounting screws and anchors for both drywall and concrete.My immediate need arises from some old shelving in our home where, as you can see in one photo, a shelf has started to separate due to age and excess weight. Rather than replace everything, I used a bracket to bolster the shelf. With the included gear, plus a drill and a screwdriver, I got it installed in 20 minutes.Couldn’t be happier with this item, it does everything I might have asked of it.

Sturdy product!
I ordered these to add shelving to a craft room. They are holding up so well and I have quite a load on them. Excellent Quality Shelf Brackets
I was impressed by the quality and strength of these brackets. They’re heavy and solid, which should support a lot of weight. As a plus, they’re also very minimal. Depending on the orientation you choose to use, only a thin metal band/bar will show on the underside of the shelf. I also appreciate the matte black finish they used, which fits in well with the other black metal decor in my home.

Solid construction, almost invisible shelf brackets
We recently had a shelf collapse in the house, it was a mix of poor installation (not attached to the stud, only drywall) and also my wife overloading it. The wall is repaired, but I wanted a better solution when I put a new shelf up, this fits the bill.You can’t get all 4 screws into a stud, as they are spaced too far apart, however, 2 screws from each bracket are now secured to a stud and the other 2 were installed with the included drywall anchors. This shelf is not going anywhere. With 6 brackets in the set, the only issue is that my honey-do list now contains 2 more shelf installations around the house….

Very strong bracket
I got those brackets to hang heavy book shelves, these brackets are extremely solid and the way they hide makes them hardly noticeable, I used these them to hang a 16” deep shelves and they rocked, I tested with loading one of them to the max and it didn’t seem to care for that weight, very happy with their solid performance

Very solid brackets
This set of shelf brackets is very well made and extremely sturdy. The biggest thing to understand is that flat mounting tab of the bracket is wider than a standard wall stud, so you will only be able to use 2 of the 4 screw holes to contact the stud surface. I used 2 heavy duty wood screws and 2 heavy duty winged anchors to affix them to my walls and have had no issues.The finish is very nice and looks great against my shelf material.Mounting to a solid wall surface using appropriate anchors is the way to go.

Nice Strong Brackets
PROS: Thick strong steel, decent powder coating and good recessed screw holes, perfect for mounting 2×10 or 2×12 shelves, comes with all hardware and various anchors, and even a small bubble level. CONS: Bubble level is round so it rolls around easily, mounting plate is wide so pre-drilled hole will not fit on a single 2×4, you’ll need to double plate or cross stud to provide adequate mounting materials for heavy shelf loads.

The best of both worlds: heavy duty and inconspicuous
As you might expect from 1/5″ iron, these brackets are quite heavy and sturdy. Probably heavier and sturdier than any other similar-sized shelf bracket you’ve used before.It’s not hard to make a shelf bracket that holds a lot of weight. You can do it with much thinner and lighter metal than 1/5″ thick iron, simply by having a diagonal piece that connects the horizontal and vertical parts of the bracket. In many ways a bracket like that is more practical than these, because it can hold as much or more weight while using much less material for the bracket.But these brackets are very low profile, to the point that they can be almost invisible if you mount the wall-side of the bracket facing up and use thick shelving. It’s a great solution if you want unobtrusive brackets that can handle a lot of weight. I really like the minimalist aesthetic.The finish is pretty nice on mine, so to the extent that they can be seen, it doesn’t bother me at all. The package came with drywall and concrete anchors, plus black-colored screws — a nice touch. The screws are reasonably thick, but if you are attaching the brackets to a stud through drywall, they’re not long enough.About the only real downside is the location of the four mounting holes; if you’re mounting to 2x studs, you will only be able to attach two screws to the stud, and they will be offset to either the left or the right of the horizontal part of the bracket. Honestly, that’s probably adequate for most uses. But I plan on loading mine up with some very heavy items. So I will mount a 2×4 or 2z6 across several studs, and attach the brackets to that using all four screws per bracket. I’m doing this in my garage, so I don’t really care that much about how it looks.5/5 stars for impressive sturdiness and a very attractive low profile look. I’ll update my review if my impressions change after installing and using these.

Very strong bracket for more than just a shelf hanger, I re-tasked these quite successfully.
I’m an engineer by trade, although my forte is software and electrical engineering. All engineers get some degree of training in the other disciplines. Ergo, I often re-task things that work as well or better in a different application. My house has a six-foot wooden fence that is probably several decades old. I had posts and boards replaced about 15 years ago, but it’s in need of fixing again. Some of the existing posts set in concrete can’t be extracted. The contractor I used is a relative and so I thought these looked like they would work to join together a new post to some of the old ones for better support. He was able to use two of them like that for the backside and may use some others when he starts on the front side. The coating seems to be relatively weather resistant, so these should hold up well. I wasn’t sure of the screws, but they worked with the galvanized ones we got for the fence.I’d say for indoor use of shelving support these are almost overkill. In a secure wall, that is concrete over drywall, they would support a very heavy shelf filled with heavy items like large books with no problem. I think the weight limits listed is more for the holding power of drywall and not the strength of the support bracket which would be much more than that. While I didn’t use them as designed, they are very high quality and useful for other purposes but would be ideal for their intended use as well. Recommended.

Sturdy, solid, easy to install.
When I picked up the box this arrived in off my front stoop I was surprised at the weight. These things are HEFTY!The box is tightly packed with 6 brackets and a lot of screws and anchors. This is everything you need to put up a shelf except the shelf itself and tools.The brackets themselves are heavy, tough and the coating should make them last longer than the shelf you might put on them. The four holes to attach them to the wall are spaced out enough that you can get a wall anchor in there when needed. With two of these under a shelf and both just going into drywall, I wouldn’t put the maximum 160 lbs on it but it should hold up for books, knickknacks or whatever you want to put on it. Also, with the placement of this holes, it’s easy to get screws in. I have a cubby on the wall holding laundry room stuff and getting one of these under it to give it more support was simple.I almost missed that it includes a basic level. Perfect for this. Hold your bracket, put this level on it, get it straight and mark for your holes. Easy.For this price and quality, 5 stars all the way!

Great for our pantry
We are currently remodeling our home. The one thing I truly wanted was a large pantry with tons of shelves. My husband built me a beautiful pantry. He hung up plywood throughout before sheetrock so he could anchor some heavy duty shelves. These are perfect for my pantry. They support up to 160lbs for the pair. They are easy to mount and include all the necessary hardware. They are made of iron and are heavy weight. The black matte finish makes these look very stylish and modern. They can go with any decor. Though you truly can not even see them in my pantry. They are offered here at a comparable price to my local hardware store. Though my local store did not have this size in stock. SOLID Steel !!!
I was impressed by how heavy it is when I was holding the packages. After I opened the package and took one piece out. I was surprised how thick it is. It’s a VERY SOLID piece of steel. Very tough. Quality is very good. See my pictures. Easy to install!

Heavy duty and stylish
I used this product to hold a 10″ shelf. It is made of good quality metal and has a slight sheen to it. It looks very stylish against a lighter colored shelf. I love that the slick design is not distracting from the items I placed on top. it is a very low profile bracket.The only thing I wish came in the package were smaller dark screws. I didnt have any and used silver colored ones. That distracts from the aesthetic. The screws it came with were to long to also use for the shelf. Besides that, these are great brackets and can be used with multiple aesthetics.
