We had an electrician install these lights. He wasn’t impressed with the way they installed. However they make a big difference in the lighting in our dark kitchen. Very happy with these lights!

Wood color not the same as the picture
The color of the wood is significantly darker on my fixture than the picture. I sanded the wood slightly to assist with contrasting the metal joiners around the wood. Assembly was not easy the easiest either.

I’ve ordered several different lights off of sah creatives over the last month while renovating a property. This light by far exceeds all others in terms of looks, packaging, design, and build quality. It really adds a nice dynamic to the room. I read reviews before any purchase and have noticed a lot of people mentioning the difficulty with installation. I will agree to a certain degree that yes it’s a little more difficult then most lights due to its size and weight, but I don’t think it’s worth a complaint. I was able to manage this alone and have it hung in around 10minutes. It has good weight to it but very manageable with one arm. For me, the little extra installation effort is well worth it for the quality of the fixture.

Nice fixture but hellish to line up and install to get flush to the ceiling.
I had to make a couple modifications and a LOT of tiring fussing around with it, arms overhead and awkward to get all 4 posts lined up and enough thread showing to get caps on the posts. Otherwise, I like the fixture. A bit bright maybe without glass or bulb covers.

I absolutley love this light. Its beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The only thing I will say is, installing it wasn’t so simple by myself. The instructions sheet wasn’t too helpful either but after waiting until my husband was home to help we eventually got it installed. I would highly recommend having a second person to help install the fixture. But the product is exactly what I wanted and enhances my living room.

I ordered this light for our new kitchen and LOVE it! The quality is very nice and sturdy. It will take 2 people to install as it’s fairly heavy and the posts are a bit difficult to line up. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars on Installation. I liked the light so well that I ordered a second one for our foyer.

Looks great but hard to install
The light is well made and looks great with the amber dimmable Edison bulbs we install. Very happy with our purchase. Like other reviews it is not an easy install. Screws are a bit short and it took two of us while connecting the wires and lining up the four holes.

Very very nice
I just had professional install. Looks great. Pic is at half power as it is on a dimmer. Very bright on full. I went with vintage looking led bulbs so very low wattage. I think less than 40 for all 4 bulbs. Really sets a look in our kitchen. Also very sturdy construction.

Love my light!
Bought this for our kitchen after removing the old fluorescent light to give a more farmhouse look. Love the appearance, but make sure the screws are changed before installing the hanging plate. I was so disappointed to have the light almost installed to find out the screws were too short to hang the light!!! I was very pleased with the look

This is a really nice lamp, but screws are too short. I had to use longer screws for the two lights I purchased. I just don’t understand how they would be so stupid!

Light fixture
I absolutely love my light fixture. I plan on purchasing another one for another part of my house. The only thing I had to do was change out the lights bulbs since I needed something a bit brighter for the space I put it in. Definitely will purchase again.

Great for replacing “boob” light
We previously had an old ugly flush mount “boob” light. When my husband took it down to replace it, we needed something large to cover it because, even tho the hole for electrical stuff in ceiling was small, the paint was discolored under all the areas previously covered by flush mount boob light. We really did not want to repaint.This light was large enough to cover the discolored paint section but not too big to look out of place in the hallway at the top of our stairs.I also like that it uses 4 bulbs so it can be a bit brighter, as that area of our house gets no sunlight.

The light is rustic and beautiful once installed! Bolts could be longer, need extra hex nuts and bolts included in package, especially if the ceiling turns out not to be level! It is awkward to line up the bolts with the plate of the ceiling light! There needs to be an easier way to tighten the nuts upto the base without the risk of scratching the underside!! Also if using the vintage light bulbs, and you have a small dark kitchen, I would recommend daylight vintage bulbs vs. soft light or amber bulbs. The wood appears lighter in photo! Hope this helps!!

Nice looking light but inaccurate directions
Very nice looking unit. I tried to use the assembly instructions but they were nothing like what was included in box. It shows a hanging board which is not included anymore. I also had to modify the wiring because the unit didn’t include the connector shown in the directions. All is well though. It works great. One little tip. I use a zip tie running from the ceiling mount to the frame to hold the unit in place while the wiring is connected.

Beautiful lights
These are beautiful light fixtures. I can’t comment on the installation because we ended up having to hire an electrician to install them, even though my husband is usually capable. But that had nothing to do with the lights, but, rather the weird wiring in our 60 year old house! The electrician didn’t indicate any problems with the product at all. They came on time and were well packaged and in great condition. Very happy with the purchase. They go perfectly with my farmhouse theme! I highly recommend them.
